John came to our new studio in Nuneaton to give a tutorial on lighting. Despite not having seen LA Studio before John was easily able to use the equipment and light sources available to show us how best to light the space with a variety of different effects. His experience and skill is very evident and he was able to present the information in an easy to understand way, backed up with typed notes and signposting to other sources of information. I would highly recommend John to anyone who wants to learn more about the technical side of photography and look forward to welcoming him back to LA Studio in the future to do lighting workshops.

This week I had the great pleasure to meet and shoot with John whom I have followed for some time. I never thought I would get the opportunity to work with him with the distance involved, however it became possible with thanks to Serenesunrise who arranged for us all to shoot together.

John and I had limited comms beforehand but agreed a rough plan and to see what unfolded during the afternoon. The shoot proved to be very productive with John utilising the space to the full, gave me constant feedback and returning frequently to his large bag containing a multitude of lenses which produced a variety of quite different images.

John is an extremely thoughtful, polite, professional man and has a calm and patient manner which made the whole session thoroughly enjoyable and banished any nerves I may have had. I very much hope we are able to shoot again. Thank you John.

Yet another GLOWING reference from me, obviously with close to 300 references to his name there is nothing more one can say that hasn't already been said so all I can add is my own experience with him.

John's communication was excellent. He explained exactly what he wanted to shoot, he also found and booked a studio close to me and travelled all the way up from the midlands to work with me in N/E Manchester (Applause)

We chatted throughout the shoot and it was all very relaxed very easy going, I got to see shots and poses throughout the shoot which is always nice and reassuring. :-)

All that is left to add now is that I fully recommend John but I guess you only have to see the 300 positive references to know that...lol

Of course I'd recommend John!! Despite having worked together countless times over the years, and regardless of a long break from shooting on my part, he is able to develop creative ideas with focus and intent. Pre-comms were spot on, and I was able to approach the shoot with a clear idea of what John wanted to achieve. On time, keen, productive and a pleasure to shoot with as always. Highly recommended to new and experienced models alike.

What an incredible shoot with this truly lovely man! John first contacted me back in November and from his first message I knew we would get along just great. He was both professional, friendly and concise in his communications meaning we were able to quickly arrange a shoot and finalise all the details. John arrived at my house bang on time and the 3 hours we spent together flew by. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and even more so, to chat with. He came armed with lots of ideas and more cameras and lenses than I've ever seen! We spent a wonderful 3 hours creating some really creative and interesting images and had a lovely chat too! Very, very highly recommended and I very much hope we get the opportunity to work together again soon. Thanks John :)

Wow. My first shoot of the year and I was lucky enough to have this wonderful gentleman to work with.

Communication before the shoot was great and we also talked ideas before the shoot started. I felt very at ease and comfortable from the start. The shoot was at my home and John came up wit lots of great ideas and backdrops to use around the house. Lovely guy. Made me laugh lots. Would definitely recommend him. Look forward to seeing the photos and working with you again. X

I have known John for many years now and he has been one of the first and only few that has been shooting with me along my journey of modelling for half a decade now. I always loved shooting with john he is incredibly down to earth and oozing with fabulous ideas. We always make great shots and I always end up uploading shots of his and really loving them, even some images we have done years back I still love and have on my portfolio :) he is a big boy with his toys has a huge aray of amazing cameras including film and vintage ones. There is always something interesting to talk about at johns and we always end up getting into long conversations and still manage to produce a lot of images we are both happy with ! It was the first time I have shot at his home and I loved it, a traditional Victorian home with many original features (love houses with character!) I always highly recommend John, he is always trying to photograph something new and try new concepts. I hope to work with him again soon :)

Had a wonderful shoot with John today at my home. He applied for my 'Too posh to push' casting, and we got exactly what we wanted and then some! John came prepared with a tonne of different lenses and I enjoyed the results of his talented eye! I would highly recommend John to other models. He is a delight to work with, and the shoot flew by. I had a very positive experience shooting with John for the first time yesterday. Pre- shoot comms were very good and we had a good dialogue, exchanging ideas both before and during the shoot.

The shoot itself was very productive and enjoyable. John is highly experienced and knowledgeable about his craft. He was very professional, calm and patient. He showed me images on the back of the camera throughout and communication and feedback was easy and constant.

John says he is very pleased with the images we created and I am absolutely delighted with them. I can't wait shoot again with him - not least because of the amazing refreshments that were provided!

Had my first shoot with John on 18th Dec as part of his older models project (Is 50 old?, I dont feel it, but I certainly cant do the splits anymore... Lol). John arrived early to set up despite having quite a distance to travel, coms were very good during the messaging before the shoot and the content and details of the shoot were discussed and agreed beforehand, the entire shoot went brilliantly, it was fun and the results were amazing. John is a perfect gentleman and has more cameras than you could shake a stick at. Its the first time in about 10 years Ive actually been shot on 35mm film and not just digital. I Enjoyed the whole experience and wouldnt hesitate to work with John again if (when 😉) he asks.

The fact I have a chance to work with John, I call a Real Privilege. And not only because he is the excellent Photographer, but first and foremost, because he is the most amazing person. His kindness, support and his big heart, left me speechless many times. Every time I work with him, I feel like Alice in Wonderland. There is a magic, adventure and the spectacular images. A real class, high manners, respect and a big talent. This is John.

This time we had a chance to work at Sandon Studio. I've been waiting for this shoot. I knew this place has been made for the artist like John and I knew, that I will be able to do something completely new and it will let us both flow. I was right. Every corner of this place was a pure inspiration. For a few hours, I've been in a different reality. I could feel the inner me, my body, senses. I was calm and very excited at the same time. It was magic.

John, thank you once again for the amazing experience. Thank you for letting be myself, for your creativity and for choosing me to work with you. You are the perfect example, that a good people exist. What I have learned from you as a model is, that I was born to be Real, not to be perfect....

What a privilege to shoot with this hugely talented and experienced photographer today. John came to shoot with me at my friends house and brought an array of equipment and even more ideas. Communication prior to the shoot was perfect and John arrived in good time to have a drink and a chat before the shoot began. He put me at ease straight away and knew exactly what sort of images he wanted to capture and was able to direct me very eloquently. The time flew and John kept me involved throughout showing me the different effects he was creating. Very knowledgable and easy to talk to and even brought biscuits! Highly recommended.

Took me only a few minutes to find out, that I'm going to shoot with the real artist.

When John had entered my house with the smile on his face, there was a bit of magic straight away around. I felt very peaceful. He had some ideas already and we could start shooting nearly straight away. I did love the fact, that he had a lot of different lenses I wasn't familiar with. Also, a few special props. It was something new, fresh and I felt like a little girl in the candy shop :)

We've been just flowing during the shoot. From the first few images from the back of the camera I saw, that John can read in my mind. He can capture woman naturally and at the same time create a real magic. Erotica and sensuality in the best possible form. The women in his images have souls. There is passion, desire and beauty. What more a model could wish for....?

John is a charming gentleman with a big heart. Professional, friendly, well mannered. One of the nicest people I have ever met. I have received a few edits already and all I can say is.... Only a man with a beautiful soul, can create beautiful pictures.

John it was a pleasure to meet you and thank you for the chance to work with you. You made my day.
