A wonderful second shoot with Electric Nymph and John. Such an incredibly warm and friendly guy, we always have a great time. Extremely talented and personable, amazing knowledge of lighting and pose. Directs so fluidly and open to models own ideas to capture the very best images. I do not hesitate to recommend John to all. We worked at Myk D's studio in Redditch. Cannot wait to work with John again :)

John was at my studio today not a rare occurrence as he has run many of his terrific work shops there but today was different as he was actually shooting and working with his models Electric Nymph and Rascal333. Two awesome and fab models that i hadn't met before but I am glad that i have now.

As always John is the true professional photographer and really knows his stuff and his lighting skills are second to none. hence why his work shops are a success, I could go on and on but Ill settle for saying that he is highly recommended by me to models of all levels and also studio owners.

Another fantastic shoot with John at a local studio near me. We did some duo erotic bodyscapes along with some fun bath time shots. The shoot just flew by and John is always a pleasure to work with as well as being fun.

I love John; really he's pretty much like family to me. I've been working with him since I was an entirely new model, and in the 16 years I've known him, he's been an unfailingly kind, supportive, interested and brilliant friend. Long ago, he took me shopping for emulsion paint when I was setting up home on my own after a horrible breakup, and let me cry my way through the subsequent photoshoot at his house. When I was ill, off work and scared I'd never recover, he visited me and took me out for tea. I know his wife and children, have stayed at his house numerous times, and would trust him with my life. I can't recommend him highly enough. John, you are everything a photographer (and human) should be. I'm glad to know you xx

Ahhhh John! I love him! I'm in no way objective, we've been friends for over 15 years. But naturally, I wouldn't have become friends with him if he hadn't been a) absolutely lovely and b) an exemplary photographer who treats everyone with respect, courtesy and kindness. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone, and am already planning to work with him again this year. He is wonderful.

I attended an outstanding workshop organised by John with the amazing model Joceline. The whole day was incredible and Johns attention to detail and organisation was second to none.

He creates some amazing sets and ensures there is a safe environment for both model and photographers.

What a lovely gentleman! Those are rare to come by these days ya know! John booked me for a double shoot for a full day. The brutal travel down was absolutely ten out of ten worth it. I was well looked after and treated like a queen for the day.... he even took me for a beautiful lunch half way through the day, which was lovely because I also got to sit down and know John the person and not just as a photographer. We shot a wide range of looks throughout the day and I was given plenty of breaks and catered for Tina high standard and the images are fabulous already. I highly recommend to all models of all levels as you won’t find a truer gent than this fellow.

Very much enjoyed my shoot with John doing a Helmut Newton theme at a hotel in Birmingham. John is a very interesting character and great to converse with, his style of photography matches the Helmut Newton theme perfectly and the results where simply wonderful.

I had the pleasure of working with John again, this time being a GG shoot at shadow studio in gloucester, alongside another photographer.

As a group we got along great and the shoot flew by very quickly. John tried lots of different lighting and always worked on getting a different image to the other photographer.

A superb combined shoot today with John plus Simone and Victoria, we can both shoot the same scene with different results and not tripping over reach other.

Our idea's are broadly similar but also sometimes miles apart, but everything just clicks !!

John came along to the studio day I had at Studio Fifty Eight, this weekend just gone, and as we had shot once before (A bloody brilliant shoot that was!), I was looking forward to what this time would bring - sure enough, John turned up with a myriad of incredible cameras and lenses, a mixture digital and film, a lensbaby, this amazingly little cctv lens. The nerd in me was positively dancing on the ceiling! The images look absolutely incredible - John has sent me a Dropbox folder with images which he is happy to edit and share, so currently struggling to not pick all of them. Thank you my dear!

This fellow is a top soul, full of intellect, chatty, artistic, brilliant company too.

Would highly recommend John to all models!

Studio Fifty Eight

It was a pleasure to have John come along to shoot at the studio with Tinkerbella. John is a professional photographer and of course knows his cameras well and gets the most out of them. This was our 2nd shoot since our 1st last May.

On the eve of my 40th, the perfect way to celebrate my last day as a 39 year old, experimenting with partial portraiture & nudity. Showing more of myself to his lens this time.

John is gentle and patient as always. We worked beautifully together yet again.

John sent me the entire shoot on Dropbox and of the 600 or so shots he took, I downloaded over 100 I loved onto my own laptop to keep. This says enough already.

The delicate poses I did for John were perfectly captured. Some were taken as always in his beautiful sepia lens. Even left just as they are they are special.

My boyfriend told me I should be very proud of these portraits. He loved them too.

There is a beauty in our portraiture and it is very hard for me to have to narrow it down to a couple of dozens even, but each set we did had its share of gems. Some beautiful just as they are and I am not even sure some need editing. Time will tell as we experiment with that side of things.

Someone asked me once 'Who shot your best work'? Apart from my own self-portraiture, the right answer isn't about who did their best shots of me (up to them to decide) but who managed to capture my sensuality best, framing it and finding the right tones to celebrate my figure, my profile, my strength and vulnerability...my essence.

John took some of my favourite shots last year, because they captured me so simply.

'To capture, encapsulate', absorb'... 3 key words to aim for when capturing any model. And not many have but John did all 3 with me. And my face is on quite a few of those new captures which for me is encouraging as it is the final part of my journey.

I worked with John for so many years that i lost account of how many shoot we did together at home and in different studios around the country , John is such a fun , friendly person to be around .

He is very good photographer , just look at the reference i dont even need to mention that ,but he is very creative too , always bring something different to your pictures , great to bright up your portfolio , i highly recommend you to shoot with John , the shoot will be fun and creative and you will get some fantastic imagines for you to keep .
