Where to begin.. From the moment communications between myself and John began, I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and passion. John was really easy to talk to and made me feel extremely comfortable which is greatly important to me.

When shooting began, John guided me on what he thought would look best and I knew from that point his work would not disappoint! John and his lovely partner Angel helped me understand which poses would look best and why which was extremely helpful!

I have also received a few of the images back and I couldn't be happier! I would 100% recommend any model to work with John as he is worth every moment of your time. Thank you John! :)

John assisted me with my shoot today with Angel Black. This is the second time he helped me with the remote shoot and his help was invaluable. Whilst we did some of the natural light set ups he made sure that the lights in the studio were all set up ready for when we moved over there.

John is an accomplished photographer in his own right and this knowledge was a considerable help to me. I will no doubt shoot again with Angel Black and I will ask John to help.

Having just completed an assisted tethered shoot with Team Black, given that that a tripod limits the options compared to in-person shooting, having John to assist by holding the camera into positions the tripod couldn't otherwise be placed as directed by myself (The camera was still controlled by myself). The results were amazing, as close to real-life shooting as is possible.

The sets and outfit options were amazing too. He's a really nice guy and fun to work with.

Again we got some amazing shots and the assistance from John was invaluable.

I highly recommend shooting with John if you haven't already.

An Eye for Beauty

I had only my second remote shoot with Angel Black this week, with the assistance of John, and am I glad I agreed to his back up? On the first part of the shoot we had snow storm interference with lighting so knowing he was there was great. But for the whole shoot (on both days) it was so helpful to have John moving things around, holding a reflector for the natural light images, and generally sorting out details which remotely I wasn't necessarily aware of. I am sure I will be shooting with Angel again in the not too distant future, and John is certainly a must!

I had a second themed remote shoot today, all helped bu J Black Photographic on lighting assistance. It made for an easy shoot, with a friendly atmosphere and plenty of input throughout form all parties. I look forward to next time already. I would highly reccomend these type of events to all. So until next time..

I had a great first remote shoot with John assisting greatly on the lighting and helping throughout the shoot with ang changes to settings, backgrounds and of course the lighting too. All pre shoot communications were good and the ideas I had suggested carried out well, with plenty of input both before and during the shoot. I look forward to future shoots and the tour of Scotland when its possible again too.

Arranged an e shoot with Angel Black & she & John did all the hard work. Very professional in arranging & carrying out the shoot based on my mood board. John’s shots were great ( maybe even better than my own) & sent me great raw files within a couple of hours. Great team to work with. Highly recommended.

Had a great Eshoot and Affinity Photo Lesson with J Black Photographic. The images John provided for the eshoot were of the top quality he always produces and matched the provided mood board ideas very well.

The tuition he offered was great - I had a 2hour Affinity photo editing lesson over zoom and it was very informative and easy to follow along, lots learnt in the time we had.
