Ivy is amazeballs!

Upon first spotting Ivy’s work it was her cosplay - the make-up, the expressiveness, the outfits they all stood out. I made a mental note to enquire if I was close enough to see if she’d like to work together. Serendipity: suddenly Ivy was casting in an area I could get to… I applied.

Ivy’s communication is outstanding. She initiated a phone call excellent idea as we hadn’t met before and talking with her I was confident we’d shoot well together. We agreed some cosplays and I arranged a location.

Ivy arrived with a smorgasbord of outfit variations for the four sets we had in mind and I offered some props and ideas I’d come with. Our work space was modest but it was great for natural light.

First up the Joker variations. Immediately Ivy impressed me with her make up, styling and suggestions. Ivy needed no direction – her expressiveness and poise impressed and amused – usually I’m inadvertently a source of entertainment on shoots but I marvelled at Ivy’s brilliant and hilarious cosplaying and tried to capture some of her mad genius.

It was a joy shooting Ivy as “geek crush” Joker, “batshit mental” Joker and “undead” Joker. I didn’t want to repeat for her or myself her brilliant work with others on this character and she proved she can vary this icon brilliantly. I could have shot her for hours and hours inhabiting multiverse Jokers.

But with time soaring because we were having great fun, we moved on. Next up: Skeleton.

Again, super make up and outfit and Ivy took to being expressing with poise both menacing and cool with aplomb.

We became aware that we’d only have time for a third outfit so we agreed on Jessica Rabbit. Ivy took me back to having a teenage crush on a cartoon(!) with her portrayal. Once again, Ivy nailed poise, expression, outfit and make up.

We reviewed back of camera throughout and I am excited to work on and make some nice problem to have choices as soon as time allows as it looks like we smashed all three sets.

Ivy is a joy to work with, personable, fun and a mistress of cosplay and I’d be delighted to work with Ivy again and again.

Working with Ivy for the first time was a real pleasure. Although she is new to modelling she is cool, calm and confident.

Pre-comms we're a breeze and we were both on the same page very quickly. The shoot we had planned didn't allow us much time to shoot but Ivy came on time and ready to go.

Ivy is proactive and gets herself into the scene easily, has lots of her own ideas and also takes direction really well when needed.

Highly recommended.

Into Darkness

What can be said about this one apart from absolutely excellent?

Communications perfect, genuine pleasure to work with and full of personality. Literally got an excellent shot from first press of the shutter. This was all from a very impromptu "I've got some time free" thing and there was a plan in place within minutes.

Attention to detail with outfits is something else. Like, I was actually a little creeped out by the makeup and the red eye - and I'm not easily creeped out by such things!

Can't wait for the next shoot!

Had my first shoot today with Ivy. It was very much a spontaneous decision, taken on the morning of the shoot and I’m so pleased we managed to arrange something at such short notice.

I would definitely recommend shooting with Ivy if the opportunity presents itself. I genuinely can’t overstate how good a model she is, an absolute joy to be around, willing to push herself to get the perfect image and full of ideas and inspiration.

I hope today was the first of many shoots to come, I can’t wait to work with her again, and planning for the next shoot is already underway.

First Shoot with Ivy today and she is amazing.

Communication from the start was really good, sharing ideas and concepts in a really collaborative way.

I need to push back 30min and she was really understanding.

She arrived with a variety of outfits and worked really hard through the 3hrs we had. Her changes were quick and slick without compromising the look. She really knew how to pose, but also took on board direction and ideas really well. She is full of positive energy and really easy to get on with.

Would highly recommend and definitely looking forward to working with Ivy again.

Absolutely delightful lady. Professional and clear in her communication and very important to me, but sadly lacking nowadays, addressed each message with a salutation and ended with a valediction.

Her enthusiasm is obvious as is her desire to help achieve the right shot.

Incredibly interesting and honest to talk to which probably diverted me more than it should have.

As we unpacked her car I did wonder if she was coming for the month, so she is absolutely able to satisfy any style requirements.

I have a better idea of how I would like to shoot again, her hair is magnificent, and hopefully we will arrange another shoot; although I appreciate it is quite a drive for her.

First shoot with the very lovely Ivy today. Pre-comms were excellent and Ivy picked the perfect location in Bristol. Bubbly and full of enthusiasm Ivy came fully prepared with appropriate outfits to match. Conversation was definitely not lacking and we laughed through most of the shoot...

For someone who has only been modelling for a few months, Ivy has the poses and moves of a much more experienced model. Never the same shot twice, Ivy needs very little direction and once into her stride the poses just keep coming.

Although we only shot for 2 hours, there are so many incredible images it's going to be a tough job choosing the final edits. We've already spoken about a second shoot which I can't wait for. Ivy is very highly recommended and would make a fabulous addition to any photographers portfolio.

I had an amazing shoot with Ivy last night. What can I say about it? Precomms were clear and she made sure that we were all on the same wavelength. Honestly a really nice way of planning a first shoot with someone. She showed up early (awesome), with a bag full of clothes that exactly fit what I was hoping for (even more awesome), and is probably the most enjoyable and amazing person you could spend time shooting! She poses well and goes from look to look without effort. She is professional in every way and yet so incredibly down to earth, a total pleasure to work with. Hopefully we will get to shoot again!

Would I recommend Ivy? Let me think ... Yes, Yes, Yes!! She came for a duo shoot her friend and fellow model Pri, and wow what a shoot. Great poses, large range of outfits and highly proffessional approach. Ivy been modelling for only three month: I can only think she is naturally talented. Ivy has kindly agreed a second shoot which I'm sure will be even better that our first shoot!

I met Ivy today for out first shoot. Pre shoot comms were perfect as we bounced ideas around for the shoot. Ivy arrived on time and with lots of outfit, couldn't of asked for more. We chatted loads and we had a lot of fun during the shoot as we went down the fun and creative route and something different. Ivy is confident and the fact that she is relatively new to modelling is no way obvious. Ivy worked hard throughout, and needed no direction, add this she is down to earth, funny and genuine, you will enjoy working with her. I would have no hesitation on recommended Ivy to new or experienced photographer, and I would love to work with Ivy again.

Ivy travelled from Bristol to the Swindon Studio for our first shoot, bringing her bags of outfits to go with our pre-discussed ideas for the shoot.

While Ivy is fairly new to modeling, she is already very professional, fun and easy to work with. We shot a number of different backgrounds and lighting setups with numerous outfit changes to get a good range of images – checking them in batches on the studio’s large screen TV to make sure that we were getting the results we were after.

By the end of the shoot we had a good variety of images that we were both happy with.

Highly recommended.

Once again another fantastic shoot with Ivy. She is a dream to work with, effortless flow posing, and every shot is a keeper. She came with 6 bags full of clothes for different ideas which I love and we picked some outfits out for the shoot.

I had so much fun on this shoot, love the results and cannot wait for our next shoot in April.

I had the pleasure of an all-day shoot with Ivy on Friday. I knew it was going to be a good 'un. Ivy's pre-shoot communications had been excellent so, on shoot day, we were able to hit the ground running.

It was a damn good shoot! Although Ivy is new-ish to modelling, she has a natural aptitude for it. She's creative, enthusiastic and energetic, and knows what works for the camera. And she has a wonderfully imaginative wardrobe - a treasure trove for shoots! - and a great eye for styling.

On top of all that, Ivy is reliable, is 100% professional in every respect, and she has a lovely unpretentious personality and a great sense of humour. So the shoot was not only very productive but was also hugely enjoyable.

Would I recommend Ivy? Well... let's put it like this... I'm just about to start nagging her for another shoot.
