I’ve used Image Red since 2018 and never had a bad experience. Brian is more a friend than anything else, his knowledge and support is second to none. What he doesn’t know isn’t worth knowing. He is so supportive and gives mountains of encouragement, no matter your ability as a photographer or model. Image Red is one studio that is disable friendly, even if you use a wheelchair. I know this as I am disabled. Thank you so much Brian for all your continued help and advice 😁👍

I had a great time working at Brian's studio again recently, I needed a studio tuition session for a new photographer who wanted to learn all different lighting techniques - and I knew Brian was the perfect person to help him! My photographer really enjoyed the session and learnt so much, and Brian (as always) is so easy going, friendly and down to earth. He took time to go through things slowly, helpfully guiding through various lighting set-ups, sharing adjustments and useful tips from his wealth of experience.

It was a lovely session that I really enjoyed modelling for, and I can very happily recommend Brian and his studio!

Yet another fantastic days shooting at Image Red Studio. Thank you to Brian for organising today’s shoot, Kitty Dawson was absolutely amazing. As always, Image Red Studio is welcoming, kind, friendly and extremely helpful, especially for a disabled wheelchair user. Looking forward to my next shoot at the studio, at least 50% of the studio is accessible to wheelchair photographers which is extremely rare for a photo studio. Keep up the great work and look forward to using your facilities again very soon.

It had been some time since my last visit to Image Red and hopefully now there is a sense of 'normallity' it will not be too long before I can use their facilities again. Great hosts, Help is on hand if needed and a vast array of equipment and props to use plus plenty of space to work. a good space to create some great images.

Atomic Photography

My first time back at Image Red since pre-covid and I'm happy to say the studio is as good as ever. Brian is an excellent host and manages to find a perfect balance between being friendly/helpful without interfering with your shoot (though he's obviously willing to provide help with lighting, etc. if required)

I'd happily recommend this studio to togs and models alike.

I had the pleasure of shooting at the excellent Image Red Studio. Brian is such a pleasure to meet and work with and really looked after all my needs. His communication before and during the shoot was excellent. Brian is very understanding and took care of all my shooting needs. It was great to shoot at Image Red and I really look forward to shooting there again. Very highly recommended!

Had another great shoot at Image Red Studios today, this time with photographer Lloyd Scott, lovely gentleman, it was an amazing shoot for an art project he's putting together, Image Red Studios was perfect for this project, its a great venue and Brian the studio owner is always lovely and very accommodating, the shoot was fun and very professional, we got some great Images :D

I very highly recommend Image Red Studio to all and I look forward to working there again soon

This was my first studio day at Image Red :)

Brian was fab with precomms. He was incredibly helpful when enquiring about studio specifications...as my plan was to lug my freestanding pole to the studio for the day (which happened)!!

Brian couldn't have been more helpful throughout the whole day. He helped me unpack, set up and repack my heavy x-stage- which is saying A LOT, because it is a pain and weighs a tonne! As soon as I walked in the door he had me relaxing with a brew and we had a great chat before my first shoot :) Brian was also on hand to help with lighting set ups and whatever the photographers needed.

The studio space is fantastic, Brian is incredibly lovely and professional. All in all, a wonderful day! I hope to be back again soon :)

Creative Focus

I would really like to thank Brian for aranging the 1:1 shoot for me with Amethyst at his studio recently. The studio is very well equiped with loads of useful gear and space, and the facitities are spot on. I'm looking forward to shooting there again. Thanks Brian - Keith.

I hadn't shot at Image Red for a few years, so it was good to go back and be able to use the big open space.

I was booked with the wonderful Ivory Flame for the afternoon.

It was a terrific shoot and Brian helped make it so, being there when you wanted him and invisible when not.

There is ample lighting - both continuous and flash and good areas to shoot.

Recommended by me.

My second time at Image Red studios, love working here Brian the owner helps you out if you need help and provides coffee and tea when needed.Its fast becoming my local studio if you consider Tamworth/Bolton-le-sands near to one another (look on a map north west of England)

Brian is so welcoming, warm and friendly, you feel at home, happy to help in any way he can. He takes care to offer you drinks, make sure you're warm enough, and that you feel comfortable on any shoot.

Not only is the studio area spacious and well-equipped, the light and effects you can capture in The Loft area are so fantastic - it's a wonderful space to create in. And though that area is partially derelict - he does a fantastic job of warming it up fast with a massive heater, even in winter I am never cold there.

A real gem to have a mix of such an interesting, grungy, natural light location, with the studio space to boot!

Highly recommended!!!

As always with Image Red, extremely helpful, kind and considerate. The studio is fully accessible for disabled photographers like myself. Brian is extremely help and knowledgeable, his is always willing to share his knowledge and help models as well as photographers but in a very professional way.
