Finally got to shoot with the incredible Helen Diaz this afternoon at Sandon Studio. Decided four years ago that I wanted to shoot with Helen, however we are based miles away from one another. So when Helen stopped off at Sandon Studio on her way home from a Scotland tour, meant I could get to shoot with her. Was well worth the wait, Helen is everything I could wish for. Attractive,good sense of humour, and no tats. The shoot flew by, and really pleased with resulting images. I'm sure Helen must be on most peoples wish list, don't just wish, get her booked. Highly recommended.

I hadn’t shot for over two years due to poor health and was very apprehensive about having a shoot again but when I found out Helen was coming to my area here in Central Scotland, I jumped at the chance to work with her. With the previous communication over the last year or so I knew Helen would be understand and supportive and so down to earth I booked the shoot, I wasn’t disappointed.

The shoot was very productive at the amazing Pavilion Studios on which it took me an hour or so to settle as it was a bit daunting for me with being away from it for so long. I must say Helen helped me immensely right from the start with her wit and chat and positive work ethic during the shoot. We managed to get a number of vintage themes I wanted to cover with the help from Helens wardrobe of clothing she had brought with her.

I am Hoping to work with Helen sometime in the future.

I had a wonderful shoot with Helen in my home studio. She has an upbeat attitude and buckets of spontaneity. Her acting skills shone during the shoot and conversation flowed easily. She can pose very convincingly with a replica firearm and has reinvigorated my passion for model photography. Highly recommended!

Female Art Nudes

Helen agreed to work with me a second time and this occasion it was to be an art nude location shoot, followed by some time in the studio.

She very gamely agreed to a 5am start, so we could get to a clifftop location for sunrise! Unfortunately, it wasn't too warm on the day and there was an added windchill factor, further reducing the temperature.

Nonetheless, Helen agreed to go ahead :-) However, the temperature did not really warm up and, despite Helen being willing to continue, I eventually called a stop to the location shoot as I could see she was beginning to feel unwell.

Once back at my home, Helen was more than happy to move on to our planned studio shoot but, instead, I offered her the chance to rest and recover in our spare room - an offer I'm glad to say Helen took me up on :-)

I was fortunate enough to have the chance to shoot with Helen on her recent scotland trip. Pre-comms were good. She brought all the looks to the shot we discussed. added to here great sense of humor allowed us to have a enjoyable shoot. Thanks again.

Helen is a fabulous model and lovely person. Great comms, made arranging things easy and straightforward. Extremely lucky to be given the opportunity to shoot with an individual of such high calibre and talent.

Brilliant to work with, amazingly photogenic and expressive, both in figure and face, confident and bold. We had some ideas but much being largely improvised, the shoot just flowed smoothly with much fun and hilarity. Helen managing to bring to life my only vaguely articulated ideas, as well as adding her own invaluable creativity and direction. Thoroughly professional and committed, hard-working, patient and good humoured, with a wonderful appreciation for available light.

Highly recommended, get the Diaz experience!

Helen has so many references I am sure she does not need a reference from me as she has worked with photographers across the spectrum.However, this lady is amazing.I have never come across a model before who has so much energy , creativity and a really crazy entertaining personality which overlays total professionalism.

To work with Helen is a rare treat indeed.

I've been a massive fan of Helen's work since joining PP and pretty much leapt at the opportunity to shoot with her on her recent tour of Scotland. Helen is delightfully mad in the best possible way and we had a gloriously surreal shoot pretending to be mermaids in a hot tub and prancing about nude holding kitchen appliances. She's an absolute dream to work with and I would 100% leap at the chance to work with her again.

Helen. Well, what can I say?

I grabbed the chance to shoot with Helen on a trip to sunny Scotland and I'm glad I did. I think the shoot is best summarised with a quote from Paul Simon: "there were incidents and accidents; there were hints and allegations". None of which I'm going to mention in any detail (ha ha).

But there was also a lot of shooting, amazing posing, inspiration, and now I have hundreds of awesome shots to edit (so that'll be me busy for a while).

Do I recommend Helen? Definitely. Would I work with her again, given the opportunity? Absolutely.

No Such Photography

Not much to be said that hasn't already been said 1171 times before (and counting)!

I was pleasantly surprised when Helen had reached out to contact me before her most recent Scottish tour. I was very glad to collaborate with her for my first experiment on a full shoot with analogue film. Her patience, talent, and experience went from strength to strength.

Pre and post comms were fantastic, and looking forward to working with her as soon as chance permits.

This shoot was at Studio EH17, in Edinburgh, during Helen's Scottish tour. I loved working with Helen - she's a live wire and brought a lot of fun into the shoot as well as her sublime modelling skills. If you get a chance to shoot with her, don't hesitate.

Lucky enough to have another shoot with the talented and versatile Helen . This time in Thestudioeh17 in Edinburgh.As I prefer the shoot was relaxed and Helen was her usual wonderful self . We got through the images I wanted with time to spare . Shoot with this lady if you can , you won’t regret it .

Finally, after a couple of previous attempts, we managed to shoot with this wonderful lady! We started with large format film which is always slow and challenging for any model and Helen was super - very patient and able to hold poses perfectly.

She is not short of conversation, which is just great, and we had great fun mixing relaxed 'down-time' and several different styles of image, creatively use of her own clothes and items that we knew would work well.

We look forward to her next visit and simply add yet one more great reference to her long list of recommendations. Thanks Helen!

Helen is a very talented lady. made me feel welcomed and encourage me on the shoot. a fun and bubbly personality which made it an amazing shoot for me not being in a studio for a change. What a great shoot that was!

Thoroughly enjoyed the shoot from the start right through to the finish, I could have stayed all day, to be honest. Helen is a joy to be around, not just because she is a fantastic model but because from start to finish she is engaged with you as the photographer. Helen has a great knack of putting you at ease from the start and all the way through you will have a laugh.

The references Helen has speak for themselves, Helen is a unique model who has got it nailed as far as I'm concerned, Great array of poses, outfits, and looks can be achieved with Helen, Communication is fantastic from your first engagement to even after the shoot, dropping you a line after the shoot, just shows she is genuine.

Hey I'm so pleased I got to work with Helen, at very short notice, but what a way to spend an afternoon, it's always so much fun working with Helen, who is like a friend I have known for years.

We covered mainly boudoir type images, and made use of the excellent light at Helen's home. Helen wore some stunning lingerie, really beautiful, and I was so pleased with the images we created.

I can very highly recommend Helen, absolutely loved every shoot with her, and she really is one of the most beautiful, professional and hard working model's I've met.

Another amazing shoot with Helen, this time exploring fashion, portraits and wigs. As ever, her experience and professionalism shines through being able to create fantastic poses and looks. Helen has a wide selection of outfits which she was able to use to create different styles and looks.
