Another little A5 sketch, in my latest project, this one based on a photo taken by Somersetman. I'm not finishing this one because I've realised I am digressing from my original plan, namely, a figure set in woodlands.

Trouble was, that a couple days ago, I was blown away completely by the movie "Emma" which was such a work of art in itself, with stunning outdoor settings, sumptuous candlelit interiors, breathtaking costumes, and a jaunty script to boot. First class movie!

And yet this would make a good exercise for painting, with all of its various fabrics and textures going on, but it isn't quite fairy art, is it .... ?
