This is the third time I have worked with Paul, and to say he is a first class collaborator would be an understatement. He was organising a shoot, this weekend, in order to practice shooting with HSS flash and asked if I fancied joining him to bounce ideas about, and share practice. This session was a learning curve for both of us and a great opportunity to test / play with new techniques. We were able to discuss thoughts and experiences with ease, and I never once felt I was a spare part on the shoot.

Beyond the flash stuff, it is always good working with Paul as he has an excellent rapport with models, and a very clear / natural way of offering direction to models. I always feel I have learnt something about the interaction side of model photography from him, as well as acquiring new skills.

It was a fab morning and I am grateful to Paul for asking me to accompany him.

He is thoroughly recommended by me as a photographer and as an instructor.

Great to start shooting with GPL again. We had planned an outside location but ended up shooting outside in our garden. Plenty of space for distancing and great scope for him to experiment with his new kit.

There's lots of space in my local park to keep well away from everyone, and I can walk there, so where better to get back to shooting... and who better to shoot with at a distance than GPL, trialling some new portable kit!

Great to get back in front of the lens again, and fun to explore new locations that allow shooting safely too.

Paul is, as ever, highly recommended.

Paul and I managed another shoot just before the restrictions for COVID-19 became tougher. He wanted to try new lighting and I had a new wig to try, so two good reasons to have some fun experimenting and as always, the images look superb on the back of the camera. With his keen eye and precise direction he can see the smallest change in pose to compliment his lighting.

Always good conversation, happy to work within my physical limitations and never expects more than I am able to deliver. Once relative normality has returned, we plan to shoot once again. Paul is absolutely recommended by me.

Had my 4th shoot with Paul recently and as usual it went brilliantly! Paul arrived on time and fully prepared with all backdrops, lighting, equipment etc. Friendly and professional, he had some great ideas for our shoot and had brought along all the props needed to achieve this. So happy with the results that I've seen so far! Would definatley recommend working with Paul and look forward to working with him again in the future myself!

Had my first shoot with Paul today, and I certainly hope it wasn’t the last!!

Paul and I arranged a shoot a while ago and pre comms were on point. I was really looking forward to our shoot and I certainly wasn’t disappointed.

Paul’s photography, and lighting skills are brilliant. He’s creative with his images and really knows his stuff. Great at directing and also allowed me to freestyle. A great teacher too!!

Paul is a really sound guy. Easy to get along with so conversation just flowed. I felt totally comfortable and relaxed. The time just disappeared!

I can’t wait to see the images as the boc looked ace!!

Had a lovely shoot with Paul yesterday, working at mine with limited space and using different areas of the bedroom both with natural light as well as his own lights he brought along. The images on the back of the camera were looking awesome and I cannot wait to see the final images!

Paul has such a great eye for detail, and we had a good laugh throughout whilst also trying to desperately stay professional and serious through the shots themselves. I would highly recommend working with him, he's respectful of levels, very professional and even with limited space and having to cram himself into some tight spaces or sit on various cuddly toys after rearranging my bedroom for the right look and feel to the shots, he still keeps a very professional attitude towards his work.

I do hope that we get another chance to work with one another again some time and thanks for putting up with not only me but my crazy dog and boyfriend just after he woke up as well! :D

When I said to Paul "I dunno what I'm going to wear for this shoot, my friend - everything I'd use in my spare room is buried under a dozen bags of cuddly toys, waiting to go up into the loft", he replied "Well, wear THEM, then!" and so there we were, shooting shin-deep in fluffies. :) Such a laugh, lying buried in cuddlies of all kinds... and I'm sure with some fun images to come. And Paul's such a gent - helping me to bag them all up again and hauling them up into the loft as well, that was way above and beyond the call of duty!

Professional, adaptable, full of ideas, fun to talk to, more than helpful, great images - what more can I say? I'll shoot with GPL any time, and I;d recommend that you do too.

I had my first shoot with G.P.L yesterday at my home and he was great to work with. He adapted to an issue with lighting quickly and the shoot moved on without a hitch!

G.P.L gave fantastic direction that was easy to follow and matched well to the low lighting shoot we did.

I would thoroughly recommend him and I hope we can work together again in the future.

What wonderful things can I say about this photographer that hasn’t already been said ?

He’s a tremendous photographer , with a keen eye , sense of style , flair and quick humour to observe THE perfect shot when you least expect it. To be able to capture a moment like that is a special talent. To do it naturally and with ease and grace makes Glossy a true pleasure and a privilege to model for.

Glossy is respectful , funny , easy company and someone I’m lucky enough to call a friend. Glossy is easy going and all the time open to try suggestions and themes. He’s also fearless to push himself either with or without lights and to experiment with the given light in the location.

Models , if you are lucky enough to be able to shoot with this incredible photographer jump at it , and for those lucky models who know Glossy as a friend too we keep coming back to shoot for a reason.

I was invited a 1-2-1 lighting course as a model by GPL which I was really honoured to do.

I have no idea about photography and how to use cameras, but I learned a lot from GPL and the most impressive thing was that I re-realised that GPL was knowledgeable and dramatically enthusiastic and also very good at educating people. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him as a model for his lighting course as well as normal shoots.

A clear autumn day was a positive invitation to shoot outside in the park, and an opportunity to match colours with the turning leaves. Seemed like the rest of the world was out too - "look wistful" is fun, when your view is a group of training rugby-players! But we got some good images nevertheless, I think.

Always fun to chat and shoot and get posing tips from my pal Paul, highly recommended.

Another shoot with the fabulous GPL, this time we opted for a boudoir style shoot.

I was feeling a little under the weather with the flu but shooting with GPL makes it all worthwhile so i pushed myself and i think we managed to get a few great shots.

Hes a very professional photographer and a genuinely lovely guy..

Once again, a shoot with GPL to try out basques and an evening dress. Great communication beforehand discussing a different idea which we shelved in favour of these, for a future shoot.

He arrived on time, set up quickly and decided on the best area to shoot. I love shooting with Paul, he's so amenable to ideas and always likes to experiment if he sees something new to try. Superb lighting producing images very port-worthy and absolutely professional, always. Once again, highly recommended.

Paul and I finally had our long awaited shoot at the start of this month, and it went as well as I'd always expected it to. Anyone who approaches me with a request to shoot, followed by a meticulous list of expectations and working styles will always hold up as well worth working with in my book! I fully appreciate transparency and someone who knows exactly what they want.

Communication both before and during the shoot was clear and transparent and the shoot itself was easy going and efficient!

What a fantastic shoot, i am over the moon with what we got today.

We decided to do something totally different for both of us and do a 50s pin up shoot in my 50s looking dining room. Was relaxed and fun :)

GPL is such a lovely guy and a terrific photographer,he knows what shots he wants and gives direction perfectly.

An absolute gentleman as always :)
