Cool shoot with GlossyPinkLipstick on Sunday - a perfect gentleman as ever, trying out some new styles and ideas for an upcoming project.

As we worked through various poses and ideas, Paul was most considerate of a recent knee injury I've suffered, helping me make he most of the limited shoot space.

Pre-comms were detailed, so I knew what to have on hand to suit the theme, and we discussed the ideas on the day and worked together to set up interesting images.

Paul is always straightforward and professional, as well as helpfully giving me advice on location setup as well as good modelling direction. I look forward to hopefully working with him again on one of his ongoing projects.

The shoot was in the morning on a Sunday. Although I’m not a morning person I was very excited about it. And it wasn’t disappointing at all. He was very professional but kind and helpful too. He told me what to do when i was out of ideas. The whole shoot was lovely. And the communication beforehand and afterwards was excellent too. I can highly recommend him.

Boom 💥 shoot 28 in the bag 😊. 2 years ago this week Paul got me where I am today . So Paul thank you very very much. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be here today 😊😊👍👍🎉🎉🥂🥂.

Another successful productive shoot with my number 1 today 😊😊. Apart from having no footwear walking round the streets of London. I’m keeping quiet about my boots lol . Paul no reason for you to mention it on my ref !! Lol 😂

I took us out on another location as I’m trying to get Paul to master the art of shooting with natural light. As we all know Paul is a master with his lights so only seem fair to get him mastered with NL.

This time we headed to Tower Bridge . Before we got there we went down an underpass and did a number of really cool sets down there . The lighting down there was ok . The silhouette set was pretty cool 😎 too. We stayed along side the Thames River. As per usual there were those you know !! Bloody tourists. Mind you today’s tourists were good apart from 1 couple who decided it would be great to video Tower Bridge as well as take what seemed like 1000’s of images of the bloody same thing. We wouldn’t off minded if the bridge was opening and closing . They just moved the video camera side to side videoing the same f..king thing . Jez!!We waited patiently believe or not. I wasn’t sure which one of us was going to ask them politely to DO ONE .

Where we were decided to park my half a wardrobe we saw potential for some awesome backdrops using the bridge and surrounding buildings , as well as superb imagery. 😊

This time we stuck to street fashion . Shame as I was dying to get me kit off lol 😂. I brought along a gold dress to shoot in . WOW what I saw at BOC I was amazed by what we’d managed to achieve considering it was raining off and on . Paul realised his mistakes with his camera settings prior to this shoot . So with new settings put in place Paul smashed it with our images . I’ve decided to take Mr A out again next time I see him so we can go further along the Thames to see what other props,backdrops and lighting are on offer to us . All in all and pucker day with my down to earth top geezer friend , Once he’s mastered natural light I’m going to take him out in the dark to shoot lmao 😂😂😂😂. Well I thought it was funny . I’ll bring candies with me hee hee. I’m sure models on here think I’m bloody mad lol. I’m not mad I’m just funny 😉😉

Let’s hope Paul gets the edits over to me rather quickly so I can show off another new style from us. Right enough of my ramblings. You know I can talk hind legs of a donkey lmao 😂😂

Paul contacted me after my first set of images went on here in January and I had my first shoot with him last week at my flat. He arrived on time with his one light, backdrop and plenty of equipment. We chatted a lot throughout and I was very grateful for his direction as from the back of the camera the images already looked great. He also took a great deal of trouble to ensure he was happy with the way each shot was lit and we covered a few different styles. The time flew past and I would love to work with him again and definitely recommend any model who is thinking of doing so to contact him.

Another big turn around for us both . We shot street style fashion and some grunge. 😊

Yesterday Paul and I went out location to shoot . Due to British transportation travel was right up the swany my end as per usual. I managed to meet Paul at Victoria and take it from there . We got to Westminster Abbey . There are some lovely doorways and niches that we’re really cool to shoot in .

Tourists were ignorant as per usual . They could see there was a professional shoot going on what with Paul’s camera and my posing . They still decided to invade our shoot . Paul and I weren’t happy as some of the tourists decided it would be a great thing to sit on our stuff . My glasses being the most important to me.

I think some tourists need to have labels on their heads saying I quote . I’m a tourist so great possibility I’m f..king ignorant!!!

We hit Banksy Tunnel at Waterloo. A 10 min walk felt like we’d been walking miles . Due to London’s invasion of tourists and a bike race going on the streets were heaving . Jez Paul and I were cream crackered by time we got to the tunnel.

Paul and I did a number off sets with various outfits. Due to me bringing half a wardrobe and shoes. A woman can’t have to many pairs of shoes Paul!!!! Lol 😂

I’m keen to get Paul more comfortable shooting with natural light . I suggested we do more so we’re off on a jaunt in a couple weeks time . Somewhere where there aren’t to many bloody tourists. Then get right on my tits !!

All in all another successful productive shoot I’m happy to say . As I’m sure you’re all aware I’m Paul’s muse so I need to drag him out more so he can get more comfortable using natural lighting. Won’t take me long to kick him into shape hee hee 😂.

I had a great shoot with Paul yesterday. He is extremely professional and gives great direction. He is also very creative with his shooting style. I loved the images he showed me from the back of the camera and I can’t wait to see them edited. I would love to shoot again very soon and highly recommend him.

This was the first time I have attended one of GPL's workshops. I attended the One Light workshop.

He provided us detailed instructions before and was responsive to unforseen question like wearing shorts in arguably hotest summers we have had.

GPL was welcoming when I arrived and introduced us all to each other. He started the course at the stated time and expertly interwove theory and practice together.

Due to the heat we were flagging a bit but GPL's encouragement or enthusiasm did wane.

GPL has provided lots of futher material for us to follow up after the course along with support.

I recommend this course to others.

Paul and I recently had our first shoot together shooting at my home. He arrived on time, well prepared with everything he needed with him, and was ready to shoot! Paul was friendly, professional, and great fun to work with. We shot through several looks including lingerie, glamour, and art nude experimenting with both natural and mobile lighting and I really enjoyed working with him. If you haven't yet worked with Paul then you definatley are missing out, hope to shoot with you again in the future :).

Had a terrific first shoot with Glossy Pink Lipstick (Paul) when I modelled alongside the beautiful Melissa Tongue for his One Light Only tutorial. Pre-shoot communications were VERY thorough, clear and professional.On the day, Paul was a real pleasure to work with, friendly and highly knowledgeable, and he ensured that everyone was as comfortable as possible on an extremely hot day. As someone who is interested in photography, I also found the tutorial highly educative and enjoyable.

I attended one of Pauls One light Workshops,and have to say it exceeded my expectations.

Paul was relaxed,informative and patient (even with my dumb questions) but still ran a tight ship!.

It was our first meeting,but his welcome was warm and immediately put me at ease,as i was well out of my comfort zone!.

He made sure we all got the chance to try out the tecniques he had taught,but was ever mindful of the models welfare on what was a VERY hot day in the studio..

I look forward to working with him again in the future,if the chance arises..

Paul (GPL) was a great host, mentor and facilitator for the workshop held last Saturday. His selection of models to suggested themes all contributed to a very enjoyable shooting session for all attendees. Would highly recommend his workshops to everyone, both learners and seasoned as there are always great ideas that come from the opportunity to experience from one of Paul’s workshops in a collaborative environment . Paul organised a lighting workshop for yesterday and right from the start with pre comms I could tell it would be a very well run day.

Paul is a fab guy and very organised. The day it's self ran smoothly and everyone really enjoyed themselves despite the soaring temps!

Made sure we all had enough drink, fans and breaks to cool down. I felt comfortable at all times and although there was alot going on the day was still fun and relaxed.

I had the chance to shoot with him for a couple of hours before hand and we got tones done and found a great shooting pace what suited me well.

I look forward to shooting with him again and going to another one of his workshops.

Very highly recommended to all!

First time of meeting GPL at his lighting workshop yesterday and although I had heard great things about him from some of the models I`ve worked with you never know until you meet someone - he was a real gentleman to me and mindful of the models comfort too. He knows his stuff and I came away with lighting knowledge I didn`t know I didn`t know, lol. Would highly recommend his workshops to anyone wanting to learn thru actions.

I had shoot number 3 with Paul after i applied to his last minute casting call after a cancellation.

After shooting with Paul twice before i didnt give it a second thought as i wanted to shoot with him again. I was over the moon when he replied lets shoot.

Paul is just an all round gentleman making me laugh every time.He managed to snap his belt on my handle on my draw in kitchen which was so bloody funny. He had to keep pulling his trousers up every time he moved,sorry Paul it was funny haha

Paul always showed me after every few shots to make sure i was happy with the images and of course i was. He is so quick in returning edited images which is a big plus from me.So if you are looking for a cracking photographer that makes you laugh and gives you the images you are looking for then GPL is your guy he comes very highly recommended by me.

Hopefully i`ll get to shoot with him again sometime soon.

A very short-notice fill-in slot with GPL at the weekend, just squeezed into my day before I had to dash off for the afternoon... before morning tea, even!

Looking forward to seeing what that quick choice of long white shirt looks like, both dry and chilly-wet. :)

Paul is polite, gentlemanly, fun to talk to, gives good direction and despite the limited space I have available to shoot in, still manages to get great results - 100% recommended!

Boom 💥 26th shoot with my number 1 Photographer and dear friend Paul 😊

This time round I again completely changed our shoot round . I set us a big challenge with a few mind blowing sets I wanted to do . As the lighting for the images needed to be spot on. I sent Paul copies of the images I wanted to recreate. So he could then sort out how each image was going to be lit. As we all know Paul is a lighting expert I knew he’d get the correct lighting 100%. So with his innovative lighting skills and my a hat, a suit, red lipstick and some heels . We created fantastic images. What I saw at the back of the camera were WOW. So I know Paul will deliver quality edits 😊😊

We did a bit of boudoir so Paul could try another letting set up . I thought we needed a big change after shooting together so much. Hence me finding some other ideas to shoot . 😊.

Being Paul’s muse we always bounce ideas off each other . They all work fantastically

So rather than me having a pile of outfits etc I kept it quite simple. I’m happy to say we f..king smashed our shoot AGAIN 😉. What I saw at the back of the camera I was gob smacked.

Enough of my ramblings. Now for the last bit of Paul’s ref 😉

Well, I'd been wanting to see how my new under-lit "crystal ball" prop would work on camera, so I was very happy to step into a short-notice cancellation spot with Paul. As ever, he was professional, helpful, pleasant and a perfect gentleman. Paul was patient and meticulous with this idea, taking the time to get the lighting and set-dressing just right. The images I saw as we went, trying slightly different angles and such, looked great, really interesting, so I'm looking forward to seeing what the shots look like! We also tried a couple of other looks that are new for me, too, picked ad hoc from my modelling-kit of outfits.

I'm so glad that I happen to be "just round the corner" from GPL, and therefore a convenient fill-in model for him! Must think of another cool theme to do, in case another cancellation spot comes around one day and I can take advantage of this expert's spare time... :)

GPL is 100% recommended my me, every time - thanks again!
