Paul is an awesome photographer so it was without hesitation that I asked him to join me on a group shot that I had planned at Natural Light Spaces. Having already been on a training course with him at the studio, we had spoken about the potential to just spend a day there shooting; I was therefore really pleased he agreed to come along for the day.

He possesses a very relaxed and straightforward approach to shooting; he clearly knows his stuff and is happy to impart ideas; comms were particularly brilliant as the day started to take shape.

It was fabulous to observe him in action again and he was a real asset to the day. I look forward to seeing the results from his shoots and hopefully crossing paths again in the near future.

A great shoot with Paul. My first shoot with GPL and using gels! I felt at ease and very welcome. Really impressed with the images and the diversity of lighting techniques used. Paul really knows his stuff! Highly recommend!

Paul and I did quite a bit of fashion today as well as another oil and water set . I also wanted to try a honey set that id not tried before The fashion sets were superb . I can't wIat to see the finished edits. We've totally changed our style of shooting which is great :-)

Had my second shoot with GPL and this time we were covering Lingerie using natural light, Art Nude and Bodyscapes. Paul's pre shoot comms were excellent and he always arrives on time with a lot of equipment, which he sets up quite quickly considering! As before I was super excited with the images we got and his work has the most loves on my port. If you haven't worked with him yet, do so! You won't regret it 😊 looking forward to our next shoot on New Years Eve!

Paul and I arranged to do a beauty shoot. The pre-shoot communication with him was excellent. Paul was very responsive. The shoot took place in my home and Paul literally brought the whole studio equipment with him so we could easily change my place into a studio. He was friendly and easy going. The time flew by and before I knew it, the shoot was over. I would definitely recommend Paul.

I had first seen Paul's work on here and knew him as G.P.L so was aware of the high standard. I met him in person at the Essex Creatives Social and we arranged a shoot soon after. Although im fairly new to modelling he made me feel at ease straightaway. A 5 hour shoot seemed to finish all too soon as i was given great direction, and really enjoyed myself. I've just looked at our photos from the shoot and nearly cried they are awesome i love them and im hoping one day to shoot with G.P.L again. The bar is set high, super recommended.

While attending Iulia David's PS tuition, I met Paul, which decided to lug around a suitcase full of gear, as opposed to my flimsy lightweight camera-bag, and to my pleasant surprise, while we were deciding which lenses to use for the shoot, even though he was the most experienced in the group, he immediately offered me a lens; and I was the definite newbie of the group, but he trusted me with his gear, and later on, had no problem showing me his shot images, sharing his knowledge freely, anything to help out.

I had the pleasure of working with Paul again yesterday. This time we ventured out on location to try some outdoor shots. Luckily the weather was kind and the rain held off.

What can I say that hasn't been said about Paul before? In truth not a lot! He is a fantastic photographer, gives great direction, really knows his stuff, and is a top bloke to boot.

I have no hesitation in recommending him 100 % to everybody.

Had the pleasure of working with Paul on his lighting workshop in natural spaces studio, communication prior to the shoot was perfect and well in advance.

Although 3 models was planned not enough photographers attended as imagined so I ended up shooting with the 5 as well as Paul.

Over all shoot was great and Paul knows his stuff very well as well as produced amazing images.

Spent a worthwhile and very productive 6 hours with Paul (and others) on his 'one light beauty training course'. Having been a long time admirer of his work, it was great to learn some of the tricks of his trade. He explained concepts effectively and allowed plenty of time to put theory into practice. The day was well organised and managed, and catered for the range of abilities in attendance. Paul's instruction was clear and it was evident that he knew his stuff and how to communicate it in a practical sense. I came away with new ideas regarding lighting, more confidence in setting up and using single lights and modifiers, and a honed awareness of how to make the best of small spaces. I would thoroughly recommend attending one of Paul's courses, they are the Ronseal of photography tuition!

Attended GPL's single light course at The Natural Light Spaces.

It was very educational,I learnt a lot.

Paul was very good at explaining the subtle differences which produced some amazing images.It was particularly helpful for shooting in confined spaces, as in home setups.The model chosen (Adora Cara) was amazing and so patient.

I have no hesitation in recommending GPL and his courses.

What can I say that I haven't said in the last year . He's simply the BEST.

Firstly he's a very good friend of mine

Secondly he's my number 1 photographer and I'm his muse :-)

Thirdly I couldn't recommend him highly enough.

I could go on and on about him as a photographer and as a friend . But you'd get bored reading my refs lol.

Attended one of Paul's workshops today and I have to say, probably the best money a novice photographer can spend.

8 hours studio time, 2 amazing models, Full tuition and guidance and all for less than it would cost you to hire a studio for 4 hours.

Paul is highly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and willing to go off script to answer even the most basic of questions.

If you have any hesitation about attending one of his courses, JUST BOOK IT.

You won't be disappointed.
