I recently shot with Dougie again for a specific project and as always, Dougie was brilliant. Such a fun, professional gent with the best sense of humour! Dougie directed me perfectly and created fantastic work as usual ;) Thanks for a brilliant time yet again.

I was so happy when I was asked along to the Blackpool gathering as Doug is someone I have always wanted to work with but distance was definitely the enemy!

Doug was definitely the hostess with the mostess and I loved every second whilst I was there - I wont even go on about how amazing his work is because the evidence is above and the name precedes him ;)

He was polite, a gentleman and professional all whilst remaining incredibly humble. Would absolutely love to work with him again.

I honestly cannot recommend him high enough and could write pages of praise - thanks again for having me!

Ever since started modelling Doug was on my hit list of want to work with. I have always admired his stunning work so late last year when i had a message asking me to visit Blackpool to take part in a group shoot he was hosting, how could i resist!! The shoot itself was amazing not only did i get to work with Doug but with a great bunch of other photographers and alongside beautiful models. He thought of it all and had a great team involved. I literally laughed so much my belly still hurts. His organisation skills match his port and i am truely honoured to have been part of the whole experience. He was overly accomadating to and shows so much respect for models but joins in with banter and the fun too. I would highly recommend Doug to anyone lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with him. I honestly had an amazing time with great company. Many thanks :-)

I was very fortunate to be invited for my second group shoot with the epic Dougie Smith and a fabulous gang of photographers, models and mua Lilly Von Pink. From the minute you arrive till the moment you leave Dougie will make sure you feel at ease. He is such great company to be around amongst giving great direction whilst shooting but also gives you a change to do your own thing. He just knows what shot he is after and looking at his work it speaks volumes how talented and creative Dougie is besides bring a total gent with a very humble personality. I can't thank you enough for giving me the opportunity to be part of this group shoot and can't recommend you enough to other models lucky enough to be shot by you.

I had another Intro to Studio Day with Dougie and yet again he was absolutely marvellous!

Dougie is such a fun and lovely professional Photographer, each of his events are brilliant. He directs very well and he is full of so many creative ideas.. as you can tell from his fantastic port. Each of his Intro events have a great variety of styles and moods, which I love being a part of.

Thank you for yet another brilliant shoot at Wallop Towers!

What a great guy! Being a photographer myself I know how tricky it can be to focus on getting the shots whilst also making it fun, but from the very start Dougie was very welcoming and gave off a really relaxing vibe. Being quite new to modelling I really valued how well he directed me and I was really impressed with this especially. Creative, friendly and an obvious professional, I really enjoyed working with Dougie and would definitely recommend him to others. I hear this all the time from people I've photographed but I genuinely cannot wait to see the finished images!

I've always wanted to work with Doug so this was a great opportunity for me. Doug is very kind and friendly. He offered me a lift from station and back and provided me with accommodation not only that he also did s great tour of Blackpool talking about all the attractions. He offered great feedback throughout the shoot. He is great at directing and also took my own ideas on board. I definitely recommend him

I had my 5th Shoot with the amazing Mr Wallop last week at his fantastic studio in sunny blackpool :)

This shoot was a little while in the making due to a few unforeseen events but it was definitely worth the wait.

Doug had a specific concept in mind that I happened to have the perfect parachute for so we decided to capture something a little bit special.

Doug is a fantastic photographer he is amazing with his lighting and has it down to a T. He works quickly and efficiently giving great feedback and pointers throughout (he even managed to get rid of my T Rex hands hehe)

Had a great shoot with Doug today! Communication to achieve the perfect shot was great, very easy to follow and some really useful advice for me as a new model. Loved the ideas he came up with and I really enjoyed myself throughout the shoot. For the amount of getting everything in place he did, he worked very quickly to get it all right. Highly recommend!!

I had the pleasure to work with Dougie for the first time at the group shoot in his studio Flash Bang Wallop in Blackpool and it was absolutely fantastic! Dougie is an amazing host, he is very relaxed and easy to be around, creative with great eye for details and good fun to work with! He directs brilliantly and makes the shoot easy and fun. His studio was absolutely pack with bits and pieces that we were using during the event what help to create amazing and unexpected outcome.

I attended one of Dougie’s studio days yesterday and I was very impressed with the whole day. Dougie is very welcoming, helpful and full of knowledge which he is very happy to share. Both the models Hazel and Beth were fantastic and Nicci the MUA was as brilliant as ever.

If you have been thinking of going to one of Dougie’s studio days I can highly recommend doing so. I for one will be signing up for another day in the near future.

Had the absolute pleasure of joining Doug at his Studio in Blackpool on a workshop day.

He has a very relaxed, almost effortless way of dropping golden nuggets of knowledge at your feet and is obviously interested in trying to make sure you get the most out of his courses. It was a packed day and represents probably the best value for money I have ever spent on a workshop. If you were toying with the idea joining him for the day then I am sure you will not be disappointed. I fully intend to be back there in the very near future.

I have done three shoots with Dougie so far. Dougie was the first photographer I plucked up the courage to let photograph me and I can honestly say hand on heart that he takes the time out to make sure you're comfortable, he makes you feel at home and even sorts free drinks when you have a petty cough :D

Dougie is a fantastic photographer, very helpful when you're not sure about poses, helps with direction and doesn't hesitate in letting his ideas sprout. Being new to modelling I can happily say you've given me a lovely welcome to modelling!

Would most definitely recommend!

Very greatful to have had to opportunity to work with him. Dougie knows his craft well and is passionate about nailing the perfect image. Pixie Rai MUA

Arranged a MUA focused shoot with Dougie, and he really rose to the occasion! His pre-comms were brilliant, giving me loads of ideas and letting me help chose which models we used for this shoot!!

Dougie was friendly and welcoming from the moment we (myself and Sarah Swift) arrived, as we'd travelled from Derby to Blackpool on a bank holiday, so it was lovely to be welcomed after a long journey!

All I can say is that it was definitely worth the travel time, Dougie's studio is well equipped with loads of props and clothing throughout! He made me feel relaxed and didn't pressure me when my first look took a little longer than expected! He tried loads of different poses, and really focused his attention on my makeup application! Massive bonus in a makeup artists eyes!!

As soon as we left, I received ALL of the images to choose 3 from each look, and the models could do the same, and we would get all of the pictures that everyone had chosen!!

I highly recommend Dougie, and cannot wait to work with him again!! xx

Yay! He can't get rid of me! This time I was back to shoot with him and Anna Baldwin. :D As always it was an absolute pleasure to be there and they were both a delight to work with and we got a great variety of images. Was absolutely thrilled to be included in the group he chose for his twisted carnival shoot idea. As always shooting with Doug was fun, efficient and brilliantly productive. Everything was arranged easily prior to the shoot (a good effort with five models involved) and on the day we got exactly what we were aiming for with a lovely bunch of people. Would always recommend Doug and am already looking forward to the next one!
