Doug is an amazing photographer (as if I actually need to state that) He hosted a day to show us lesser mortals how he creates his magic.

He was a great host (as always) and tried to explain the ingredients for his images.

I learned a lot and feel that my photography has moved up a couple of levels (feel free to disagree)

A great day was had by all and I think the 3 of us came away with a lot to think about,

Word of Warning...If you attend the day beware of dougs stoll......it has a mind of its own!

Attended one of Dougs group shoots and can say it was fantastic, he kept in contact regular up to the event, made me feel very welcome and was happy to answer any questions I had, the quality of the models and MUA provided were fantastic and all involved with the day had a fantastic time.

If you are thinking of working with Doug then just stop and do it, you will not be disappointed.

I always love going to work with doug. It was my third trip over this year! I don't often make a lot of money from these sessions BUT I go for the creativity and imagination allowed here. Always relaxed and fun, resulting in sensational beauty shots. Dougs got endless contacts and events happening and I'm always keeping my eye out for what he's got going on, no fuss & no messing about love it can't wait to go back.

I had the absolute privilege of working with Doug on his awesome band project. I was honoured to be invited to participate, along with my beloved drum kit :) Doug was very patient whilst the kit was set up and stripped down; he has a genuine, friendly attitude and welcomed me and my roadie warmly.

Doug is amazing to shoot with; he's very precise and works really hard to get the shot. Looking through the images this evening, I'm really struggling to chose some for him to edit as they're all fantastic. :)

I would highly recommend Doug to any model; he made me feel very comfortable and at ease throughout my visit to his studio. If you are offered the chance to shoot with Doug, grab the opportunity! You really will not be disappointed!

Thanks for a great shoot, Doug; I would love to shoot with you again.

I had the honour of being able to collaborate with FBW with on of my neck pieces. We discussed me posting the item and I was given date of the shoot, my item was quickly returned to me in great condition and I have received the images as promised and I am over the moon.

Second shoot today with FBW at his studio. On time and prepared as ever. We also had Imaginary Revolutionary shooting alongside which made for a great day. He was respectful, mega helpful with direction (ultimate hand precision!), and put up with my ineptness of being a) unable to see without glasses which resulted in b) not telling left from right

Recommended to new or experienced models, thank you again!

I worked with Doug for the first time this week, I dont think there is anything i can say that has not been said before and his work pretty much does most of the talking ... absolutely amazing photographer to work with, enjoyed every second of being in his company, amazing studio and Doug is a lighting/styling genius. Had such a great time, i really hope i have the honour to work with him again. Thank you Doug.

I modelled for Doug again and of course once again really enjoyed it!! Its always so much fun with Doug, always feel comfortable, and I feel comfortable enough with him to do my 'higher' levels, even though these are fairly new to me!

Doug puts a great confidence into his models, I always leave that studio feeling great!!

Had a fantastic 2 days with him Trevor and Rob..... I would like to lie and tell everyone what a shit weekend it was and don't bother going...that way there will be less competition to get a place at his next event but he probably wouldn't invite me if Id left a shitty reference.

Thanks Doug for your generosity and hospitality and sorry it was such a quick farewell/

Spent the weekend in Blackpool as modelling and MUA for an event at the studio and had an fantastic weekend

Doug did and always does look after his models so well you couldn't ask for more

he always allows we to go mad and bring the most random outfit it is always a pleasure working with him. I always feel very privileged when he invites me to his events

I went to stay with Mr Wallop over the course of the weekend to model for a event he was hosting and my oh my did I have fun!

He gives fantastic direction and knows exactly what he wants to put across in an image and he treasure trove of props and clothes are to die for.

I had been an admirer of Doug's work for a long time and of course the team he works with as well. First thing I need to learn is my "geography", Blackpool is a long way from Brighton near where I live :) Anyway, really enjoyed my tutorial, there is no secrets with Dough he is willing to share everything, he is just as interested to hear your take on things as he is to teach you. A lovely person, fantastic hospitality, passionate about his love of photography and knows his Photoshop as good as any master I have met. It goes without saying if you wish to improve your studio knowledge you can do no better than shoot with FBW , thank you for your support and kindness. Martin

I think we need to set up a FBW Anonymous group, I think I'm addicted to shooting with Dougie! I was honoured to be invited back again for another workshop. What can I say, other than he is one of my favourite photographers, he is so full of creativity, extremely talented and also completely down to earth. He really encourages unique images and will try wacky ideas, not just that- he has a genuine passion for making Art. I can not recommend him highly enough! I have been "Flash-Bang-and-Walloped", went to a studio day hosted by Doug. It was an amazing experience to learn from one of the best. Always have admired his work, but the chance to see how he achieves it was fantastic, not just in front of camera but also in post production. He doesn't just teaches you but share everything from his tips to processes. These are valuable experience that not many other workshops/studio days provide. The whole day was organised to perfection, nothing was pushed and ran smoothly like clockwork. I have learnt a great deal, had a really enjoyable time and made some new friends. Yes please sign me up for the next one!

Had such a good shoot with Doug yesterday! Modelling for one of his studio days was so much fun!! I looovveeee shooting with Doug, I feel like I learn something new every time im there!

Id shoot with Doug everyday if I could, so if you get a chance to, do it!

Not sure what I can say that hasn't already been said about Doug - he's lovely :)

After very smooth pre shoot communications, I travelled down and worked with him in Blackpool recently, and it was an absolute pleasure. Full of ideas and his studio has a shed load of fun props.

Very friendly, and as I didn't know the area, Doug humoured me by picking me up from where I was staying and taking me to his studio - which I later found out was about two blocks away!

Had a fantastic shoot with FBW today! He was punctual, friendly and looked after me well. An extremely efficient photographer, knew exactly what would work and executed it to precision. He gave me great direction and was encouraging when using my own poses, which was a great motivator considering I felt that I was a little out of practice since I haven't shot in quite a few months. The RAWs look fantastic, we got a ton of really great shots and I can say from having a quick look through, that it's going to be tough to choose my favourites. Lastly I will say that this guy is a lighting genius!

I would definitely recommend working with him and hope that someday I can work with him again in the future!
