Moel Famau; the Mother Mountain. I was born in the shade of this mountain, along with my mother and grandmother and many of my maternal ancestors. My grandmother never moved out of sight of this mountain, until the end of her life when we dragged her from her home in North Wales to the midlands where she seemed lost and alone.
