Second Darklens session and I have to admit, it's getting addictive!!

Darren threw a crazy idea at me and was extraordinarily patient while make-up was done. As always, we had such a laugh and again one of the funnest shoots I've done in a long time!

We sailed through 3 sets of conceptual weirdness. Darrens lighting was truly beautiful, his set up perfect for the effect we all wanted to achieve and his enthusiasm was outstanding.

You really do need to visit this quirky little spot! You won't be disappointed by the studio or owner x

First shoot today at Darklens with studio owner Darren, sweet baby jesus what a fantastic session!!

Darrens pre-shoot comms even down to directions were spot on. He had a rough idea to work from and gave me free range of what else to do.

We created 3 separate looks with minimal but effective effort and the shoot flew by!

Lighting was spot on, natural light too if that takes your fancy. The studio on arrival was set up and ready to go and Darren was enthusiastic and more than helpful.

Darren as a photographer was brilliant, we sailed through poses like they were going out of fashion. His style of cluck move click move is right up my street meaning I could keep chucking the shapes out on a near constant basis. Much more productive!

Highly recommended and I shall be back very soon!

Used DarkLens Studio for the first time, the studio is very impressive has plenty of natural right,lighting and various rooms to choose from. Daz is very friendly and easy going will definitely be using Dark Lens again in the future. Will be doing a block booking next time

Had a great shoot with at Dark Lens recently, My second visit to the studio but my first shooting with Darren. The studio is fab, some great sets! Darren himself was great to work with, and we produced some great images! Looking forward to my next visit x

I had a great shoot at Darklens today.

Daz is such a nice guy and is really helpful.

The Studio has three rooms which are full of props and different set ups.

Really enjoyed using the studio, would fully recommend to anyone wanting to hire the studio.

I had arranged to photograph a young lady, not a model, at Darklens Studio but she failed to show. Daz was brilliant, he was on the phone to his wide range of model contacts and soon sorted me up with a great model. The studio has a range of rooms and an outdoor balcony that can be used with plenty of lights and props. from a potential wasted day Daz pulled it round so that I had a great day with a talented model.

I had the opportunity to shoot with Daz on a studio day with lots a models and photographers. Daz was 100% professional, very friendly and easy to get along with behind the scenes and made me feel very welcome.

Its a breath of fresh air to work with creative people, he also gave me free reign to be creative with the makeup which is always good from my perspective.

Thanks again for a great shoot and will look forward to the next one!

Daz's Studio is great, just like the man himself. Within five minutes of arriving I chose the block booking deal because I knew I'd love to shoot at Dark Lens again and again.

Went to a group night at Darklens Studio and Daz was amazing. Always on hand to help and offer advice and encouragement - but was also happy to step back and let you do your thing. An incredibly warm and inviting bloke, who made the evening a real pleasure.

A lovely studio with a great range of locations and scenes to work in - a huge range of props and outfits for models and to spark ideas. Highly recommended and will be booking some time here soon!

Greeted by Daz who couldn't do more to help and make sure everything ran smoothly.

The studio is well equipped for most styles of shoot with three rooms catering for flash or natural light.

Had a great days shooting and didn't want for anything the whole time.

I have modeled at Darklens Studio MANYYYYY times, and it is one of the best studio in the west midlands!!!!

Excellent facilities, 3 amazing and different studio rooms, with an large office which can also be used to shoot in. As Daz lives upstairs, shower facilities are there if required for those messy/creative shoots!

Great atmosphere always, recommended from me 100%

I used dark lens a few months ago, and found the studio to be 2nd to none. The facilities are exceptional and all of the studios really well set out. The wardrobe was full of great outfits and props will definitely be using dark lens again very soon
