We had a commission come in for a young girl who wanted to have a portfolio created to start her modelling career. We always work with Dan and he was asked to do the girls Makeup. Dan is amazing he was straight into action he looked at the outfits looked at her skin tones and knew exactly what to do. His experience oozed and she looked amazing. She had 3 changes on the day and each time Dan was ready and made changes to her colours.

On Sunday 19th February I worked with Dan again, This time on a massive 45 cast themed photo Shoot based on The Walking Dead. Dan was as always amazing. It was a full on day as everyone needed makeup. We had a team of 5 MUA and Dan lead the team and created some amazing effects, We did the usual blood and guts which took time and effort to create and build up step by step but also just basic makeup for a post apocalyptic world.

I cant thank you enough Dan you and your trainee's were all amazing and the shoot went perfectly.

Undeterred by the other MUA dropping out at the last minute, Dan pitched in and did sterling work on all 4 models singlehandedly, working quickly and efficiency and making sure that the shoot flowed.

Another great shoot arranged by Dan, This time a version and some of the scenes from the rocky horror show. Dan built the set, made sure all the makeup artists were in position and knew what they were doing, made sure the photographers had the space they needed.

On large shoots like this as always Dan is organized, creative thoughtful and knows how to produce a great shoot. Well done Dan this was so much fun and an amazing cast and set

Dan and his team did a terrific job: over two dozen models to attend to on a huge wild west themed shoot, yet everything ran like clockwork. No delays, no drama, just a steady turnaround of models with excellent makeup. Dan is a great guy to shoot with and I have no hesitation in recommending him wholeheartedly.

We shot a horror shoot a couple of months ago called Hostile, it became so popular due to Dans incredible effects and his bucket of blood with over 20,000 views on our website and a 6 page spread in an alternative magazine, we had to do it again.

Dan worked his magic as always, this album was more bloody and so realistic. Dan is an amazing makeup artist, nothing is to much trouble and he is a lovely lovely guy

Worked again with the Amazing Dan Hoey and his team of MUA at a massive 30 model shoot with a wild west theme, The event was spectacular, action, smoke make up and guns. The event was arranged by Dan and worked like clock work.

Us again, we had been planning a new exciting horror shoot and on Sunday 15th May 2016 we brought it to life, We had two experienced actors/models a derelict house and costumes. We asked Dan, as we always do to create our horror scenes with blood, gore, slashing and stabbing. Dans words "How much blood do you want?" our answer "all of it"

We set about our story line stopping for Dan to apply more makeup and more blood. The scenes of violence were so realistic and graphic we have had to lock our album with a password to stop under 18's viewing it. seriously this was so graphic. If your planning something ghastly for Halloween or a play or zombie stuff you need to book Dan, and when he says he is going to bring a bucket of blood, he really is.If you want to see the images feel free to message myself or Dan and we will give you the link and the password. Us again, this time we attended a massive event arranged by Dan and CDH Events, this was set at Fort Borstal Rochester. Dan and Carrie had arranged everything down to the last detail. with close on 100 people involved they did amazingly.

I know that below this reference there are another 2 from us, this is because we feel that giving feed back is important and also we work with Dan, alot.

Yesterday we recreated some scenes from "The Wizard of Oz" Dan as always got stuck in to our project and on the night before our shoot I got sent photographs of him baking heads in his oven,

He not only did the makeup on the day he made costume parts at home

Dan is a wonderful guy, amazing at his craft and is great to work with.

Since our referral below we have worked with Dan a further 3 times. The first being a recommendation from him to Brian who is a life time BAFTA member, Dan we are very grateful for this introduction. The second was a Production of Sunset Boulevard, Dan was hired to do the makeup for the men on this show. he arranged for a team of MUA to work along side him. everything went like clockwork, the actors arrived at the dressing room door, they were quickly allocated there artist, the makeup was readily available and each person was in and out very quickly. As a photographer and watching what was going on I felt that Dan and his team were wonderful, the banter and atmosphere in the dressing room was fantastic, and although they were under time pressure you would never have known, If you are planning a big production and need a team that can do everything from makeup and hair for both men and women you should seriously look at Dan, he is totally professional, organized, and really easy to work with.

The 3rd time was yesterday. Dan was asked to do the make up for a children s production of The Grinch, When we got there Dan was already working his way through the cast. When he did the "Grinch" makeup everyone was in amazed. The makeup and the wig were outstanding. Sharon and I were amazed at how much effort goes into making up this character. Thank you Dan for letting us work with you.

I am a photographer and have worked with Dan twice and soon to be 4 times as we have events planned. LISTEN.... what ever this guy does is a success, he is very skilled in his art and has more contacts that anyone I know. If it can be done he will make it happen and Myself and Sharon are behind him all the way.
