References for Carla Monaco

I finally got to photograph Carla after waiting nearly 8 years. I had always been working so jumped at the opportunity as I had a week off.

Carla has the look that I was always looking for. She is extremely beautiful and 200 plus images later I am finding it very hard to find the best shot. I was still editing at 3 a.m. in the morning.

I loved spending the day with Carla, highly recommended

An Eye for Beauty

A couple of days ago I went on a workshop run by English Photoworks entitled 'Soulful Portraiture'. I was a attracted to the theme and love David's work anyway; but a deciding factor was that the model for the day was the lovely Carla. We have worked together on a couple of dozen occasions but usually on a 1:1 basis. However to see her patience and kindness to the five of us photographers only reconfirmed the high esteem in which I hold her. No doubt we will be booking another shoot in the not too distant future.

Had another excellent remote session with Carla earlier this week, and continue to be impressed. She's fully professional, enjoyable to work with, has a great range of expressions and both natural and stylized poses.

We went with a kind of avant-garde/tribal look. I provided a makeup and styling moodboard, and she took the concept and examples and styled it beautifully.

Talented, highly skilled, charming, fun to work with, and beautiful; what more can one ask of a model?

It was a delight to shoot with Carla around the city of Swindon to capture autumn at its peak. She found some incredible spots for us to work. She is so professional in her outlook as well as enjoys a good laugh. Coming up with creative poses and expressions throughout the shoot.

Just returned from an Artemisiab trip to Lanzarote where I had the absolute pleasure of working with, and spending time with lovely Carla. Superb model and one of life's most beautiful people. The time flew by far too quickly and we didn't get chance to rehearse our cabaret version of "I got you babe." Maybe next time.

Thanks for all your work, especially the creation of our mystical set.

Spent a few days with Carla on an Artemisian Luxury Photographic Holiday in Lanzarote. And what a wonderful few days!

Carla is a beautiful, experienced, professional, talented model. And a warm, charming, lovely person.

I had the pleasure of working with Carla again on a recent Artemisian shoot in Lanzarote.

What can you say that hasn't been said before about Carla. She really is one of the top models around. Not only is she a beautiful model but she is a beautiful person too. Always so welcoming she has a way of putting you at ease. She really is a pleasure to be around.

Carla is very experienced and professional. Super talented, friendly, has a natural beauty, takes direction well and is there to suggest ideas if needed.

Not much more to add really. If you haven't shot with Carla then why not!

Shoot with Carla on a trip to Lanzarote organised by Artemisian Luxury Photographic Holidays, we shot a number of different ideas over the 4 days, there was a lot of preparation for some of the set, always easy to work with Carla and Highly Recommended.

Had a lovely second remote session with Carla a few days ago, and was again impressed by her professionalism, posing ability, natural look in front of the camera, and all the preparations involved in a styled shoot.

This time, we went for a 1940's period theme, with makeup, hair, and wardrobe all selected for that, and she was ready from the very start, with a perfectly selected outfit for the theme we were aiming for.

As with our first session, the only difficulty I had was in deciding which of the many 'winner' photos to select--there were so many excellent ones it was hard to narrow them down.

Fun to work with, ability to portray a wide range of emotions and styles, and generating great results: it's a combination that's very hard to beat!

Shooting with Carla is always a great event and this was no exception. It was also Nicky Phillips's last shoot so it was even more special with a drop or two of pink champagne being consumed.

A most enjoyable afternoon at the great far forest studio and lots of great images.

Had a successful outdoor shoot in Wiltshire with ever superb Carla, such a delightful & relaxed model to work with. Always impressed with the ease, flow and grace with which Carla moves from pose to pose and theme to theme.

I appreciated the input of Adrian Crook in carrying my kit and generally assisting with the logistics of the shoot. As ever I highly recommend Carla and Adrian in his temporary role as an Assistant!

I had another fantastic few days with Cala Monaco when she came to Essex and stayed with us.

Sometimes the stars align and you get that perfect shoot! Having had two no shows in the last two weeks, I was doubting everything about model photography!

I bought a bargain from eBay which was collection only and a 3 hour drive from where I live, so I had a look for models I wanted to work with along the route, and found Carla. I had wanted to shoot with Carla last year but the Pandemic caused a cancellation of the studio day.

Communications were business like, we arranged a day and time and Carla suggested a location, providing a map and a GPS location.

I suggested

Something bright and summery 

Something warm and snuggly

Something sheer and see-through

Something distinguished for fashion nude.

Carla arrived on time, with the required outfits, a smile and can do attitude. The weather was kind to us and the location provided plenty of opportunities.

Carla posed effortlessly and efficiently and we chatted throughout the shoot the time flew by. I was amazed at the number of images that I took, and totally blown away when editing the images, the first image I published has been voted image of the day on another website.

In short Carla is a very experienced, professional, friendly, relaxed beautiful model.

Would I recommend her Hell yes, thank you for renewing my love of Model photography.

The only down side was the mosquitoes made a meal of me!

Great shoot with Carla today (our 3rd). We had some outfits and types of shots planned, but you know what they say about plans "plans are made to be broken" the weather was good and thankfully overcast for some of the time at least, so we made use of the outdoor opportunities before moving inside. Carla is friendly, relaxed but very professional, her experience shines through contributing to the shoot not just as a model,but also with ideas.

I am sure Carla and I will be shooting together again in the not to distant future.

I had a great shoot with Carla on her recent visit to Weymouth. We spent a very relaxing 3 hours, chatting and drinking coffee whilst taking the occasional photo. Despite the gentle pace I still managed to get all the images I wanted from the shoot and more.

With over a 1000 positve references you don't really need me to tell you how good she is. All I can say is she is well worth the effort of turning up and shooting with her and I would happily do so again.
