I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Carla yesterday. She and Cariad Celis were the models for a 'Film Noire' themed shoot, organised by NigelG.

A thoroughly enjoyable and productive shoot. Carla is an absolute delight to work with. Beautiful, talented, hard working, professional, easy going and great fun. She nailed every set that we shot and produced amazing images throughout the 5 hour shoot. Would love to work with Carla again, hopefully soon.

A small group of us photographers booked Carla and Cariad for an afternoon of film noire themed shoot.

Carla has been on my list of want to work with for a while and wow she did not disappoint. Stunning model and poses with little to no direction, she hears the shutter click and she's straight into the next pose!

Just a pleasure to work with and certainly one of the best models I've worked with.

I can see why she's so busy just book her and enjoy the images you will achieve.

I had another excellent remote session with Carla. (Yes, I realize most of my references for Carla start that way. That's because they've all been excellent remote sessions!)

This time was a post-apocalyptic theme, and she nailed it--great wardrobe, styling, posing, and emoting, while cheerful and happy to suggest improvements where helpful. She impressed me yet again.

Seriously, if you get the opportunity to wortk with her, you won't be disappointed.

A lovely shoot this morning with Carla, on her duo day with Artemis Fauna. Carla always guarantees to deliver some beautiful images. I had written a full shoot plan and once again Carla embraced it and brought her own input to the day. What also stood out was how well Carla and Artemis worked together. We had a number of discussions around shots, and Carla and Artemis quickly grasped the concept and offered their own ideas about how it could work. They were a real modelling version of Lennon and McCartney! I have no hesitation in recommending Carla to other studios and photographers. Thank you Carla.

A fabulous duo full day shoot with Carla and Artemis Fauna at Aura Studio. We shot so many creative and stunning sets. I had sent some ideas in advance that varied from fashion through portrait, lingerie, and bodyscapes, and Carla & Artemis took those ideas and produced some beautiful styles and posing.

Having shot with both models before, I knew we would produce some brilliant images but the session was so much better than even I had come to expect.

Two hard working, fun, professional and creative models who always strive to get top class results from the photographers who work with them - thank you both until the next time.

This Was my second shoot with Carla and Artemis at Aura Studio, the first shoot was only 2 hours and this time booked for 4hours. It is extremely difficult to put into words how easy it is to work with these extremely professional models.

I had several themes I wanted to shoot from bought on from my first shoot and we worked through these with plenty of discussion and fun in achieving the results.

Great session with Carla at Pavillion Photographic Studios. I’m relatively new to working in the studio but it was a joy to work with Carla who was very supportive and helpful. Carla was great at working with my ideas and made suggestions at times on how to enhance or improve a setting. The atmosphere was very relaxed and I’ve come away with some excellent shots. I’d certainly recommend Carla and hope to work with her again.

An Eye for Beauty

When Carla extended her studio days at the weekend to a third I leapt at the chance to have a four hour slot: that makes two dozen occasions when we have worked together, and this was as great as all the others. We started with some natural light fashion and nude in the new area created at Inspire Studios; and then two sets of lingerie.

But the main thrust of the shoot was to create a story in the genre of 'Barbarella', and the icon film starring Jane Fonda, fielded in 1968, which I saw as a student. Carla is brilliant at creating the 'Bardot' look of that era and we ran with that.

I am sure Carla enjoyed what was a very different shoot, and she worked tirelessly with lots of different outfits, quick changes and the need for 'acting' skills. Whether it was being 'bitten' by teddy bears, stripping off in a 'weightless' cabin, kissed to death by butterflies, or iconic poster images in silver garments, Carla posed to perfection.

Carla is definitely my favourite model, and yesterday we worked in my favourite studio! What more can I say? It will take some while to edit and add wizard touches to these images, but next year I look forward to more encounters with the lovely Carla.

Today I managed to secure a shoot with the incredibly talented Carla at Inspire studios.

What an absolute pleasure to meet Carla in person after admiring her work for so long.

Just by spending a few minutes chatting with Carla , it was very clear that the next couple of hours would become one of my " landmark" shoots of the year!

Carla has a natural beauty which can be captured in many ways, this became more and more inspiring and captivating as Carla eased into her distinctive poses that complement her exquisite style

Carla has a natural charm and elegance that shines through the lens adding emotion, grace and sensitivity.

So a genuinely beautiful person inside and out, a talented model and collaborator,

capable of creating outstanding images.......Whats not to like!!

Highly recommended to take your photography to the next level.

What an incredible experience shooting such an incredibly talented model.

Carla is such a warm, beautiful person besides being an incredibly talented & professional model.

I've looked forward to shooting with her for a while, & I couldn't have asked for more.

The way she embodies the mood of the shoot is just amazing.

She doesn't just strike poses, rather she quite literally gets into the mood of the shoot & that shows in the expressions she brings about.

Very few people can look so pleasant without smiling.

I shot with Carla for a couple of hours on her studio day at Inspire yesterday and am absolutely delighted with the results. Carla is a master at her craft. She flow poses beautifully and never delivers anything but the perfect shot, truly at the top of her game and I really hope to work with her again in the future.

As an added bonus she's a really nice person to work with as well, friendly, chatty and down to earth and a real pleasure to shoot with.

I took a chance on the weather behaving itself as we head into winter and booked a late autumn fashion shoot with Carla (and Adrian assisting), and I'm very glad that I did. The weather was about as good as can be expected this time of year and I had a fantastic shoot. Mr & Mrs Crook did another excellent job of arranging this "assisted location shoot" (this is the second one that I've done with them) and chose some wonderful locations in the countryside near Swindon again. Even if there weren't quite as many leaves left on the trees as a month ago, there were still plenty on the ground, providing an abundance of autumn colours.

It goes without saying that Carla had all the looks to match the beautiful locations (numerous autumn/winter coats and more self-knitted hats, gloves and scarves than I could keep track of) and posed perfectly throughout as she always does. And Adrian did a sterling job of not only lugging my lighting gear around for me, but also holding up the flash in places that I could never have made it stand on its own, so even the trickiest of locations still had the benefit of the finishing touch that a flash can provide when the daylight isn't at its best.

We were accompanied most of the way round our three locations by a riot of robins (is that the correct collective noun?!), one of which did its best to mug me for my mince pie (very kindly an unexpectedly provided, along with a flask of coffee, by my hosts -- I guess that's one advantage to booking an autumn shoot so late ;-)). All in all it was a lovely wander through the countryside in the company of equally lovely people. I've come home with another batch of great images, and can only look forward to doing it all again next year :-)
