We enjoyed a 4 day holiday in Tuscany with Artemisian preceded by a special 2 day 1-to-1 shoot with Artemis Fauna. Artemisian are all inclusive events in distinctive surroundings, in this case a period villa with outstanding views and lots of location opportunities from a large period fireplace to its own vineyard - inside and out. Locations outside the villa are also featured and have been previously scouted. Some are less accessible than others. A regular feature is themed shoots for which lots of preparation is made. These can be challenging making these holidays specially attractive for photographers willing to try new things and “think outside the box”.

The “all inclusive” label includes all food and drink including, in this case, an afternoon wine tasting. Meals are generally cooked in the villa by Iain T. Iain also provides other support, from transport to keeping an eye on the safety of models and photographers. His help and friendliness added a lot to the holiday.

I joined one of Artemis's trips to Portugal in June 2018 and have to say the organisation, locations, accommodation, styling , modelling and support surpassed anything to be expected. Artemis puts an immense amount of effort into making sure that everything is perfect for photographers who simply have to turn up and be given the opportunity to take some great images and to have a great time doing it. I will certainly be going on further trips , each time she creates new ideas and concepts and puts the photographer first so without doubt these trips get my highest recommendation.

Fantastic three day shoot organised through Artemisian (ALPH) with Artemis Fauna and Carla Monaco in the Algarve last spring.

Artemis and Ian T organised the event with everything taken care of for a very luxurious trip. Carla and Artemis modelled separately and as a duo during with stunning effect.

Artemis is great fun to work with, a very experienced and professional model, with style and poise.

We shot on the beach, Helmut Newton style in town at night, David Hamilton inspired in orange groves and in a few derelict places as well as in and around the sumptuous villa that was our base for the all too brief stay.

Great model, great images produced, great orgainsation and wonderful host, I can't recommend Artemisian highly enough!!

I have been lucky enough to be chosen as a model for Artemisian twice now and a third this coming April to Tuscany.

I have modelled on lots of different trips/events throughout my career and I have to say these trips have always been my favourite and the best.

Artemis as a model is incredible as you should know :) but also as an event organiser, Artemis skills are second to none- she really goes out of her way to make sure every little detail is perfect for all the photographer's and models she brings along.

Themed shoots that are well thought out with months of planning, buying props, styling, amazing locations.

Incredible villa's that are first class so you have the most amazing stay in luxury and in comfort.

IainT is Artemis brilliant business partner who not only drives the group everywhere but is the most amazing cook, I always feel so lucky to eat his food, beautifully prepared, tasty and catered for everyone's dietary needs, nothing is too much trouble.

Artemis and Iain work so hard on these trips, I know and see how much work goes into them and I bow down to them both, they work so bloody hard but then I wouldn't expect anything else because thats what makes them the best :)

Not only are you getting an amazing trip,location, villa, themed shoots, tasty food but you will be spending time with two of the most loveliest people you could ever meet and I mean that.

I am so excited for Tuscany and to make more amazing memories with the gang once again.

I've been taking part in these trips from the beginning of this venture and I've booked onto two trips to Tuscany this year. It's not just a photo shoot it's also a fabulous holiday in a superb villa. Not only a chance to shoot with the best models it's a social gathering with old photographer friends (sorry, less of the 'old'), Artemis, Iain and the second model. It's the most exciting yet chilled few days imaginable. As soon as I leave I'm looking forward to the next. Artemis pushes us photographers out of our comfort zones with some of her themed shoots but I've enjoyed each and every one and produced amazing pictures. Long live this brilliant venture.

Sometimes when you’ve earned a reputation, got to the top of your particular tree, due to years of hard work, drive, ambition and no lack of talent you wouldn't be faulted if you were to take it easy, maybe cruise a bit. Certainly not something that can be said about Artemis Fauna and Iain T, they decided to start a new venture Artemisian, The Luxury Photographic Holiday

to share their skills with others.

Artemis isn't just one of the top models around, she's the researcher, location finder, theme sorter, model booker, transport coordinator, and answerer of hundreds of questions, all with a skill and care that would serve her well in other walks of life.

Iain, the hard working if slightly in the background, ever pleasant driver, food shopper, team photographer and advisor if required but most of all he's chef extraordinaire providing sumptuous meals, and snacks at all hours. The food is fresh daily, cooked and presented better than many restaurants do. It's rare to see him sitting still but yet never flustered.

The villas are first class, clean, comfy, spacious, private rooms, outside space, gardens and pools, not just a great place to chill out at with a drink or two but carefully chosen to offer a variety of shooting opportunities inside and out.

Locations change from trip to trip while offering a range of different styles, often with a theme and costumed models too. Talking of attention to detail who else would provide a Renault 4 for a 70's night concept!

There's always a second high class model, the delightful Carla Monaco has had to endure my efforts twice. There's time to shoot 1-2-1 and 1-2-2 where and as you want.

With only three other photographers there's time to watch and learn, if you wish, as well as socialising. This includes Iain and both models who are all very approachable, it is a holiday after all. The days are relaxed but full.

Would I recommend them, well I could be selfish and want to keep this jewel for myself, so I'll just say I've been twice and it would be more if I had the time or the flights available. Treat yourself you definitely won't regret it. Memories are made on these trips.

I plan my year around Artemis and iain's trips now. Just 4 photographers, at least 2 great models ( Including Artemis herself of course.) Themed shoots, enough free 1/1 shooting. Great food from IainT catering for any particular dietary need. A beautiful Villa. Transport to pre-scouted sites away from the villa. Usually transport to and from the Airport. On top of that a great bunch of people that I've found generally friendly and helpful. I've made some lasting friendships on these visits.

As far as Artemis is concerned, well, everybody knows how good she is. What some might not know is how much attention she puts into the detail of her trips (everything she does really.) I'm always amazed at how she manages to keep them so fresh. On top of all that of course everyone goes home with some incredible images.

It's probably a measure of how good Artemis and Iain's trips are that so many people return again and again.

I had the pleasure of modelling for one of the Artemisian trips alongside the multi-talented force of nature that is Miss Artemis Fauna.

It really is a pleasure! These trips are such a wonderful mix of fun, creativity and productivity! I enjoyed my time working on the trip SO MUCH.

The hard work and thought that goes into the planning, styling and important small details is incredibly impressive. The scenes, themes and locations to shoot are so stunning and inspiring, from both perspectives! The villas that are chosen are to die for! The all inclusive catering (tasty breakfasts, lunch, dinners and desserts by Iain!), care and lovely service, makes everyone feel great, and spending each evening enjoying the food and wine, relaxing and chatting after each fabulous day of shooting is fantastic.

The whole experience is relaxing, exciting, warm, welcoming and thoroughly memorable. I CANNOT WAIT to model on another, in Sicily next year and make more awesome images and memories :-D

We have been on these amazing trips regularly for the last couple of years. The hospitality is superb, locations amazing and themed shoot ideas fantastic. There is always one shoot to challenge your preconceptions on each trip which helps you grow as a photographer. Models are always first class and villas delightful. Iain is a great cook and driver and great company. There are no big group shoots and it is very well organised to make sure everyone gets a fair chance to take photographs. Would we recommend the trips? Well, we have booked another two for this year! :-)

I have been fortunate to have been on a number of these trips, at least one every year from the start of it all, and have made many friends with the other photographers, and been labelled one of the 'bad boys' for the antics that we get up to...

What can I say that hasn't already been said, a very enjoyable time whilst there and bringing back loads of great images as a memory of the stunning locations and themed shoots...

It is probably no surprise that I have already booked my next trip for early next year...

Just a few lines to say that I put myself through a Luxury 'Artemisian Experience' in September '18 (Artemis and Ayla, Algarve, Portugal).

It was a great experience - - if all too short.

Artemis left nothing to chance in preparation and planning, all logistical information and communication prior to the event absolutely first class. Absolutely everything was covered from flight recommendations through to, dietary requirements etc. etc.

On arrival at a fabulous villa we were greeted with G&T and a welcome 'briefing' along with introductions and proposed itinerary.

Each of the scheduled shoots went ahead as planned, only changing the location of one as time was against us - being flexible and executing plan B all being part of the journey.

A great team in Artemis 'the boss, the model, the organiser, the stylist, the administrator', Iain T 'the cook, the driver, shopper, technical support (and everything else)'.

Artemis, Iain and Ayla all made sure that each attending photographer got the most out of the trip. Encouraging different ideas and encouraging everyone to try a different style.

Did I enjoy the trip? - hell yes!

Did I leave with great images? - yes indeed (too many and still trying to filter, catch up and share).

Would I go again? - most certainly ;)

Very, VERY, highly recommended.

I booked onto an Artemisian Luxury Holiday as a retirement present for myself, or at least that was the excuse, as if I needed one. I had shot with Artemis Fauna 3 times previously, so knew first hand her total dedication to any project in which she involves herself, however big or small. I'd also met IanT and had total confidence that the 2 of them made an exceptional team. With Carla Monaco as the second model, this was always going to be special.

Throughout, communications were excellent and made it as simple to deal with personal details, e.g. booking flights. After landing in Faro, everything just flowed. From the airport "meet and greet", transport arrangements, the villa, meals, shooting opportunities and departure at the end nothing was left to "chance and a prayer".

Each day had 3 themed shoots, all planned to meticulous detail and executed perfectly. Having said that, a bit of hasty re-thinking was needed, due to weather, but that was just as seemless as everything else on the trip. The themes were all unique, perfectly set up and costumed. Locations were chosen with care and props fitted perfectly.

"Luxury All-inclusive" - Hmm? Bit of an understatement to say the very least! So I'll add my own understatement - very, very highly recommended, not to be missed!

I booked a luxury holiday with Artemis last year. I suppose the easiest way to describe what I thought of it is the fact that I booked again the moment Artemis announced this year's dates :)

Artemis works INCREDIBLY hard to make sure that the trip is the very best it can be. This starts with the reconnaissance trips she makes prior to the main event so she can scout out the best locations and doesn't end until the last photographer waves goodbye.

The catering is superb (thank you @iaint :)) Veggies (like me) are well catered for and the G&Ts are free flowing.

But what of the photography? Again - superb. All sorts of creative and inventive sets, locations, props and outfits (some perhaps are designed to give you a little nudge out of your comfort zone :))

Advice freely available if you need it and plenty of feedback.

Recommended without hesitation.

Can't wait for Tuscany...

I had the immense pleasure of going on Artemis's May/June Portugal holiday in 2018 and it was the photographic holiday of a lifetime. I joined 3 other photographers who had already been on several of these events and called themselves the bad boys, and I was immediately made to feel an honorary member. The camaraderie between the this sized group of photographers is wonderful. Artemis herself is a force of nature and someone I admire deeply on so many levels for not only being the most wonderful model, but also the way she is the powerhouse of ideas and inspiration behind the whole experience and pours her whole heart and soul into making it as wonderful as possible; but then what else would you expect from the daughter of Zeus who had a degree in fine art. She is also a warm, welcoming, caring and very down to earth person who you can communicate with on all levels. Just watch out for her rather wicked sense of humour. Ian provided logistic support as cook, chauffeur and general backroom boffin, who doesn't broadcast the fact that he is a stunning photographer. The other model on my trip was Carla Monica, who was an absolute delight as a model and person. This was not just a holiday, but somewhere to make lifelong friends. Highly, highly recommended.
