I've been on several Artemisian trips now. This one was at Artemis's Winter Palace in Portugal and included Carla Monaco as a second model. As always everything was of the very highest standard. IainT's cooking is rapidly becoming as famous as his photography was. Neither Artemis or Iain do anything by halves. On top of that Artemis manages to gather photographers together that really gell together making for a very pleasant atmosphere throughout the trip. I've made some great friends on these events.

Artemis of course is a real star. Just look at her list of references.

Can't wait for the next trip.

Carla Monaco

I again was lucky to model on Artemisian trip to Portugal this January on one of Sarah's and Iain's smaller trips for the winter.

Sarah and Iain again organise the best photographic trips around, everything is always well thoughout out and organised.

They go above and beyond to make all the photographer's and models comfortable and happy. I always feel very looked after and at ease when I am on these trips.

Everything is first class, locations, Villas, food is AMAZING!! , wine, refreshments, styled shoots plus all the great company and laughs we all have, all done with like minded creatives with a professional approach.

First class all round, I can't wait for the Sicily trip in May and I would say to anyone thinking about a photographic trip abroad, don;t look any further.

It was with a bit of trepidation that I decided to sign up for one of these 'Photographic Holidays' as although I have done a couple of photographic road trips abroad before this was one with models and photographers that I have not met before. So on a model friends recommendation I decided on a quick winter break to Portugal on an 'Artemisian Luxury Photographic Holiday'.

To say I have been impressed is an understatement! From meeting up at the airport to the accommodation, food and locations everything has been thought out so well and just ran like clockwork. This really is all inclusive with fantastic food cooked by Iain (cookbook due soon Iain?), all drinks, picnics and even a January BBQ on the first day.

Sarah's attention to detail including the fantastic villa and location selection was fabulous. Even the 'interesting' descent to a secluded beach was fun (?). Although this was one of her smaller groups we all appeared to have a good amount of shooting time but as always it would have been good to have a couple more days!

Sarah was joined on this trip by the lovely Carla Monaco. Carla is someone I have always wanted to work with so this was a great opportunity to photograph both her and Artemis together in such fabulous surroundings.

It is so rewarding to find that both models are as hoped in real life and I couldn't have wished to meet such lovely, chatty, friendly and warm people as Sarah and Carla.

Although I was one of just three photographers on this trip the group really got on and we had some great laughs along the way! I have been so impressed by this 'holiday' that I have booked on another Artimisian one to Lanzarote in September. I can't wait!

So if you are thinking about one of these photographic holidays abroad then I can highly recommend an Artemisian one run by Sarah and Iain.

I managed to work with Sarah for the first time, out in Portugal, right at the end of 2019.

Timing was never right to get together before, on my part, but I am so glad it happened.

It was a fantastic way to end the shooting year, 3 days in sun in December, and I'm only getting started!

Sarah makes you feel totally at ease, and it seemed like we had shot before, but that is her professionalism. Combine that with a stunning timeless look AND versatility in styles, well you can't go wrong.

Sarah has also done her homework, knowing great locations in the area. Then there is her extensive wardrobe and styling, which is amazing.

Plus her attention to detail and also knowledge of photography brings yet another dimension, that makes a few days shooting genuinely a collaboration heaven!

All round an experience that I can say I thoroughly enjoyed, and can recommend a shoot, or trip on one of the Artemisian holidays without hesitation.

It was my great privilege to join Artemis just before Christmas for a 1-2-1 Artemisian Luxury Photographic Weekend in Portugal. I was picked up and dropped off at the airport, the accommodation and food was fabulous (thank you Iain!) and in between times Artemis offered up a huge range of locations and styling options for morning and afternoon mini-shoots. In just TWO days we shot at 7 locations (including the villa), went through 12 outfit changes and created 21 different sets without it ever seeming rushed or forced. Everything about the weekend was first class and I’ve got a whole portfolio-worth of amazing pictures to show for it. Thank you Artemis for a truly wonderful trip!

The worst thing about an Artemisian Luxury Photographic Holiday is leaving when it's all over. I've recently returned from Tuscany where Cariad and Siren shared the modeling with Artemis providing a whole range of styles and vibes. For a time we had the benefit of all 3, shooting them individually and together. Shooting 1 to 3 was a great experience.

The Villa was superb being typically Italian in style and very grand. I got to work with some old friends and made some new ones.

There were moments when I thought that - things don't get any better.

All thanks to Artemis and Ian's vision.

Oh yes, Iain. Safest driver in Italy! My only disappointment though is that he's not written his cookbook yet???

The Artemisian formula is superb. Don't miss out.

I had an absolutely wonderful time in Tuscany with Artemisian Events. The models, Artemis Fauna and Cariad Celis, were both amazing and with only 4 photographers there was plenty of time for shooting 1 to 1 as well as 1 to 2. The locations were all scouted in advance and gave us a really wide variety of backdrops in both town and countryside as well as the beautiful Italian villa where we stayed. Days were fuelled by Iain's tasty home cooking with local ingredients (and wine!). From a photographic perspective it was also a really great opportunity to see other 'togs at work, learn from each other and also to push myself in different creative directions. I not only had a great time and learnt something new, but I also made some new friends. All in all an absolutely first-class holiday and one that I won't forget in a long time and look forward to being able to repeat in the future.

Its probably no surprise that I have been on yet another one of these events to Italy, however on this occasion there were three models, Artemis Fauna (obviously) Cariad and Siren. Don't think we have had a trio before on these events.. The villa as usual was stunning although at this time of the year the pool temperature was a little low.

The organisation that was required to make this such a wonderful event was again second to none, Iain was on hand for the driving, shopping and most importantly the cooking, with Artemis covering the other activities...

The models were all superb with their contribution to make this such a successful week, with Siren providing some vocal entertainment in the evenings...

I think we have all come away with loads of stunning images and some great memories...

I've already booked another week on the trip to Sicily in 2020...

Just returned from a six day Artemisian Events trip to Tuscany, and what an awesome six days.

Hospitality was second to none. Artemis and Iain ensure that all your needs are catered for. All attendees enjoyed their own private space if you needed time to unwind.

Artemis (organiser (or boss), model, scout) laid on some great themes and locations to shoot. More than willing to consider the ideas of the attendees. Ensured that everyone had ample shoot time per set / theme. If you ran out of ideas – she was there with her own. Artemis was not happy unless all the attendees were happy.

Iain (driver, chef, scout, shopper) prepared fresh meals using locally sourced produce three times a day – at nearly all meals silence descended at the table whilst the culinary delights were consumed. Even the carnivores enjoyed the vegetarian options such was the flavour!

I honestly don’t think either Artemis or Iain stopped from the moment the guests arrived at the airport to when we left at the end of the trip. And always with the mantra – ‘if you need anything or have any issues – simply let us know and we’ll do our best to resolve them’.

They even found time to accomoate a last minute request for an early bag drop as I passed the Villa.

In their desire to allow you to enjoy your time, and almost blatant refusal to let you help – makes you feel just a little guilty as they toil whilst you enjoy your time.

These tours / events do not include the word 'Luxury' for no reason.

The only issue – the pool could have been a tad warmer!!

I was incredibly lucky to get the last slot on Artemisian Luxury Photographic Holidays Tuscany event. I have known both Sarah and Iain for many years so I knew this will be an amazing trip but wow, this was on another epic scale. As expected the villa was superb, set on very high Tuscany hill with breathtaking views with wonderful grounds and rooms.

We shot at several meticulousness scouted locations and pictures are amazing. Sarah had planned some amazing themes with stunning outfits and props to shoot around villa too. You are really spoiled with the amount of different style of pictures you can create in three days. what I really like that there were plenty of opportunity to shoot your own idea too. There is loads for everybody to come away happy with plenty of images.

I had the pleasure to enjoy Iain's hospitality in Portugal before so I knew I am in for a treat. His cooking skills are legendary and everything run with great efficiency yet with a relaxed atmosphere. There were plenty of drinks and lots of beer for me! Food and drink were of the highest quality. In fact, I begin to look forward to meal times in the evening on the beautiful balcony each day.

Our models Artemis and Cariad were professional yet fun. They went out of their way to make sure that all of us got amazing images.

If you want a photographic holiday where you get really spoiled as well as take amazing images then these trips are perfect. I just want to say a big thank to Sarah, Iain and Cariad.

Artemisian Luxury Photographic Holidays gets my highest recommendation.

The Villa we stayed in and sometime shot in was great. The locations Iain and Artemis took us to where great and together with the great models resulted in great images.

As always Iain provided exceptionally good meals and the organisation by Artemis ment everything went like clockwork.

There is a really good reason why I booked myself on a Tuscany trip with Artemisian luxury photography holidays it is because I have been on one with them before. I new the food and wine was going to be amazing the villa was just breathtaking and everyone who was on the holiday organisers, photographers and exceptional good models are all so friendly. You can not help yourself but have an brilliant time and outstanding images. but a big thanks to Artemis and Ian for running it all like clockwork and finding some breathtaking locations, the food as always was amazing and just making your time together superb.

Wowzers!! I recently had the amazing opportunity to work with the Artemisian team on their recent event in Tuscany :) I feel so lucky to have been a part of something so well organised. From the pre comms to saying goodbye and everything in-between you can tell Artemis and Ian work tirelessly to make it run smoothly. They did a recci beforehand to find locations suitable for everyone and to cater for dietary requirements, in my case being vegan. Ian made sure I was well fed and a happy model throughout.

If you are looking to book onto an organised event, this is the one, it's a great environment to meet like minded individuals and have a real photographic holiday experience together. It is unlike anything I have worked on before and I hope to be a part of more events like this in the future :)

Last year Artemis and iain acquired a classic Renault 4 for us to shhoot in and around so I wondered how they'd top that. How about an 1829 Hansom Cab??? Incredible! Oh yes, and how about a vintage Bus???? on top of that they produced studio lighting to help create some of our themed images, which included an Edward Hopper set; an artist I have admired for ages.

Iain's cooking just gets better although I got a bit fed up with Chicken surprise...joke!! ( Chicken surprise was anything that did not contain Chicken--that was the surprise.)

The lovely Carla Monaco worked brilliantly alongside Artemis. They compliment each other so well. She is lovely in every way helping to make down time a joy.

Artemis is of course the motivating force behind these events and works incredibly hard before, during and after it's all wrapped up. A beautiful and talented lady.

All in all an amazing 6 days. A beautiful villa in a beautiful setting, good company, two fantastic models and of course the great IainT.

Simply the best!

I feel I am regular 'Bad Boy' on these luxurious photographic holidays. My most recent 6 days was to Tuscany. Although the weather wasn't on its best behaviour the planning, props and organisation that went in this came together to make this a very special few days. As usual I have come away with a load of stunning images (in my opinion) of Artemis and Carla and it will take me some time before they all surface here on PP.

Sorry to ampy for causing some of the evaporation of his Aperol on the last evening.

The holiday was extended by a day when three of us missed our connecting flight and spent an unplanned night in Amsterdam before flying home the next day ...

Wow - what an adventure ...

Attended one of Artemis's trips to Tuscany which can only be described as FANTASTICO.

Artemis's organisation , scouting, styling, inspiration themes ,attention to detail and modelling are 5 STAR.

Her personality leads to a very relaxed atmosphere which produces an experience which can only be described as PERFECT.

Add in chef and driver Ian and the wonderful Carla Monaco and you have the DREAM TEAM

One of the best photographic experience's ever.

Just back from a wonderful six days in Tuscany on an Artemisian Luxury Photographic Holiday. This is the second time I've been on one of these trips and it will very definitely not be my last.

The amount of sheer hard work Artemis puts in to making sure these trips are the very best they can be is just astonishing. I cannot imagine how long she must have spent finding all those out of the way locations such as the abandoned farmhouse, the ridge or the waterfalls. And of course there is the very talented IainT who worked tirelessly to produce fantastic gourmet food. Cannot wait for the next one.

Only two regrets -

1 - I'd like to be back there right now

2 - I should have bought some shares in Aperol before I went. Think I made a few converts ... :)

Just got back from Tuscany an amazing trip run by Artemisian luxury photographic holidays and when they say luxury they mean it. Everything run like clock work, stunning location, beautiful models and amazing food plus a glass of wine or two and fabulous company.

This was the second Artemisian Luxury Photographic Holiday in which I participated -- and it won't be my last. After a fantastic experience last September in Portugal, Artemis pulled out all the stops once again to insure that we had a photographic opportunity equaled only by the accommodations, food and drink and airport transfers, which were perfect.

Artemis has the perfect behind-the-scenes person to handle logistics in the form of Iain who sets aside his camera (mostly) in favor of keeping the "household" running in perfect shape.

Artemis chose from the best of the best by engaging Carla Monaco as the second model to work with us.

But what has impressed me the most on both of these events is the locations and on-property settings she finds and makes available which keep the creative juices flowing without end.

If this doesn't convince the reader to sign-up for the next opportunity of an Artemisian extravaganza, you aren't giving yourself the reward you deserve. Reward yourself with an Artemisian Luxury Photographic Holiday.
