Short-notice casting availability with the amazing Artemis Fauna - surely this had to be too good to be true? Lucky me, it wasn't!

My shoots with Artemis now run to double figures and I could never tire of working with her. Others with better vocabulary than me have waxed lyrical about this incredible model's abilities. I will simply say that she has no equal. She is just one of the nicest people you will ever meet (she even charmed the butterfly!)

I have worked with Artemis a few times in the past when I first started out in photography,so when we bumped into each other recently at a mutual friends wedding we decided to meet up again for another shoot.As she will soon be moving from her flat I thought it would be ideal to shoot there and take advantage of a great shoot location.

I arrived fashionably late and after a catch up and a coffee we got to work creating some awesome images in different styles around the flat.

Artemis is a real pleasure to work with working hard to ensure you come away wit stunning images.Takes direction well but also adds her ideas which is always a great help.We got through several set on the day and I'm pleased to have got the chance to shoot in such a cool location.

I took advantage of the Christmas casting call which Artemis had advertised, to shoot at her stunning home studio.

I first shot with her some four years ago, having only recently taken up this amazingly enjoyable hobby called photography. And it was during those amazing four hours that I learnt so much.

Although this was now our fourth shoot together, in many ways it was so reminiscent of that very memorable first experience. Artemis is not only a supremely professional beautiful lady but she is also an extremely talented photographer in her own right. The combination of these two skills ensures that her delivery is going to be very exceptional.

Having surveyed her fabulous apartment we started shooting in natural light, the results of which I think are truly extraordinary. After a brief interlude of shooting outside around some of the most beautiful highlights of her hometown, we resumed working through a number of different sets back in the studio, this time using my newly acquired studio lights.

On the one hand shooting with Such a sought-after model might seem extremely daunting, in actual fact the experience is totally the opposite. Her knowledge, attention to detail, above all else extremely friendly and chatty disposition, make shooting with her such a truly enjoyable and valuable opportunity.

Having just loaded the images onto my computer, I can understand why some days after the shoot, I am still so excited about the extraordinary shoot I shared with Sarah.

It’s reassuring to know that I already have another opportunity in the diary to work with this very special person.

I think everything that needs to be said about Artemis has already been said before, but I going to say it again anyway 😊 First and foremost, Artemis is a most wonderful person to spend time with - smart, charming, warm, engaging, funny and the perfect host in her gorgeous home studio. She also has an innate appreciation of art, boundless imagination and an infectious enthusiasm for creating pictures. I brought a short set of images with me on my iPad as inspiration to talk through, some from Artemis’ portfolio, some from mine and a few ideas new to both of us that I had an inkling that she’d love to try. Artemis got the theme immediately and a small squeal of excitement (it might have been from both of us!) suggested I’d hit the right note! Add a little sprinkling of AF magic and an awesome shoot was guaranteed. And then there’s Artemis’ beauty and talent in front of the camera. A seamless array of exquisite poses, sometimes winsome, sometimes alluring and always graceful, glamorous, elegant and classy. We reeled through several different sets in next to no time without it ever feeling anything other than relaxed and ended up with an incredible assortment of truly gorgeous pictures. I’m absolutely thrilled with all the images we created together, they’re everything I’d imagined, hoped for and more.

Thank you Artemis for another wonderful shoot and I look forward in anticipation to next time! 😀

I worked with Artemis for two hours at her home studio this week and had a great session!!

Been wanting to work with Artemis for quite a while and finally the stars aligned.

It was a proppa collaborative session as Artemis come up with very good creative ideas that had great impact on the quality of the images produced. Also, I didn't had to worry about any lighting equipment as I used hers :) and whatta location her place is !...

Looking forward for our next session.

I highly recommend working with Artemis.

PS - Book her quickly if you want to take advantage of her fantastic flat, as she will soon be moving...

One of the great things I love about working with Artemis is that she is such a top professional that she is able to take some of my half-baked ideas and transform them into something really rather special.

I had a very productive photo shoot with Artemis at her amazing home studio. 3 hours has never passed so quickly and with so much achieved.

I gave Artemis quite a long list of 'wants' which didn't faze her at all. In fact, she set about the task with enthusiasm, contributing her own ideas so that it felt more like a collaboration.

Her knowledge and love of photography, art and image making undoubtedly gives her an edge in her modelling career. Friendly, chatty yet totally professional - a winning combination.

My half day shoot with Artemis Fauna was wonderful. It's hard to describe the creative buzz you get from working with someone so passionate about what she does, and so brilliant at doing it. Her home studio is stunning, with so many options, and her wardrobe is vast - she has put so much thought into everything.

As I'm relatively new to model photography, she was kind enough to spend time talking through lighting, camera settings and other technical stuff. I think the results may be the best photos I've taken. And on top of all that, she's also incredibly kind and friendly - we chatted a lot throughout the shoot, which made the day both creative and great fun.

She should be on everyone's 'must work with' list, and I hope I get the chance of doing another shoot with her sometime soon. Thank you Artemis :)

Totally elated that I had the opportunity to shoot with Sarah at her home studio. She's a photographer's dream, not only getting the concepts really quickly and taking direction totally naturally, but also in providing input on framing and lighting. Her experience both in front of and behind the camera is very evident. Her home studio is also brilliant to work in, with different rooms styled for different looks plus the advantage that her massive wardrobe is all close at hand.

I'm still trying to figure out how the 5 hours flew by so quickly - clearly a reflection of how much I was enjoying myself! Definitely looking forward to shooting with her again soon!

Another fabulous shoot with Artemis. A very short trip for me less than 600 metres but well worth the walk up the hill. We work so well together a she is such a pleasure to be around. Also we collaborate well which is so great when you are both working to get the best images. As everyone knows Artemis is a very successful model and this is not by luck, she works so hard to make sure you get everything out of the shoot. Hence why a lot of my most successful images are when we work together. You just simply have to work with her if you ever get the chance. Thanks again Artemis :) :)

There is a house in Malmesbury that's been the ruin of many a boy, thank God I've become one. When Miss Fauna herself offers a special deal, she certainly doesn't need the extra work, you sit up and take notice. Then she adds that she may be moving out of the house that looks so amazing, let's see 521 miles down one day, shoot and 521 miles home the next day, perfect sense.

Now, to be honest I did shoot her on a couple of workshops before I joined PP, then she rescued my first ever attempt at a 1-2-1 booking, before a couple of trips to Portugal. So yes, I knew what I'd be getting in terms of looks, styling, utter professionalism and that unfailing desire for the photographer to be happy, going away with knock out images.

A quick phone call the night before told me she'd been ill in bed for the last few days but she still wanted to carry on. She was ready and waiting with coffee and cake when I arrived, after a catch up chat, we decided to get on with it.

Did we use the roll top bath, the fancy dressing table/mirror/chair, the antique screen, 70's radiogram and chairs, cavernous chests or the entire room of clothes and costumes and more? No, I wanted to work with the soft diffused light coming through the windows. Starting first at the front for gentle robed and nude shots, then on top of the kitchen table following the light around, before finishing with what I hope will be some dark, shadowy boudoir stuff in the bedroom.

All too soon, we'd ran out of time, a final coffee and it was off for that small run home. A joy of a day, we'd talked about doing for a couple of years, been made to feel so relaxed and looked after. Artemis effortlessly flowed through poses with only the slightest suggestion from me, such is her skill. Treat yourself while she still has what can only be described as an Aladdin's cave to shoot in. Great model, lady and friend totally recommended. Thank you.

Wow! Had another fantastic shoot with Sarah, no need for direction, every theme we covered poses just flowed as did our conversation.

The settings were superb, Sarah new exactly where to be and position to get the best image, and again spot on with help with camera settings and lighting. A beautiful person inside and out, 110% recommend to anybody in the creative field. Thanks Sarah until next time x

First shoot with Artemis (in a duo with Carla Monaco), and a very rewarding one. As a relative newbie I appreciated Artemis's input - as well as being a very experienced model she knows her way around the technical aspects of a shoot and was able to suggest ways of approaching the session I would not have considered (I always figure that the best way to learn it to learn from the best!). A very enjoyable morning, good results, and an experience to be repeated!

Had an absolutely super day with Artemis yesterday. Artemis is very warm and welcoming model with an absolutely lovely apartment to shoot from. I cannot emphasise the size of this place, it is seriously like the Tardis and a superb place to shoot from. Especially as Artemis has a very extensive wardrobe to choose from and it is all to hand when shooting from her lovely home.

We shot a whole day of portraiture and fashion mainly in her home but also ventured out into the cold to shoot around the beautiful Malmesbury. Artemis is an exceptional model. Superb communications before the shoot and on the day (I was running late!). She was made up, hair done and ready to go on my arrival. She was a great help throughout the shoot, a never ending array of poses and always happy to help with lighting, angles, moving furniture etc to enable me to get the best shots possible.

This lady even cooked me lunch!

I cannot recommend Artemis enough. I had a great day and look forward to having many more in the future with her.

Well I would like to just start off, by saying 'THANK you so much Artemis', thanks for getting in touch, I honestly had an amazing two hour shoot, and it was such a pleasure working with you!! :)

I just had my first shoot with Artemis, and I don't know why, I had felt a bit intimidated by her, before I had met her, her amazing portfolio and being such a high profile model, I soon found out I was worrying for nothing!! :)

Artemis is, aswell as being totally incredible in front of the camera, a lovely warm soul, who I felt immediately relaxed around, and I was made to feel very welcome, at her home studio.

We used natural light for the portraits, and I was very impressed with how Artemis controlled how the sunlight, was used, I realised she really knows her stuff, and knew this shoot was going to be very creative.

I can honestly highly recommended Artemis, very beautiful, warm, friendly, need I say extremely professional, I sincerely hope that I can work with truly amazing creative again, very best wishes Ollie!! :)

What a lovely day! It's taken me ages to get round to shooting with Artemis at her wonderful home and I wish I'd done it sooner.

There are so many gorgeous images to be had there; the light (even on a gloomy day) was soft and sculptural and the colours and textures really worked so well. Artemis is a superb model. She creates beautiful lines and shapes, expresses different moods so well and is utterly lovely to work with :-)

She's one of the most sought after models in the UK and it's not to see why! Thank you so much for a brilliant day :-)

Artemis doesn't need my reference, of course, as arguably the most successful internet model, like, evvver for very good reasons... but nevertheless, I'd like to acknowledge some of her qualities.

She has taken it to the next level, a total pro, so organized and dedicated to her clients. Always one step ahead in her offerings, always original, always the highest quality.. definitely recommended as an event organizer, a host, a model mentor, a stylist, a oh, and photographer, an artist...and lots of fun!!

I think also worth mentioning that despite her vast experience and knowledge she is utterly beginner friendly, endlessly patient and encouraging, and not any sort of diva, she's a sweetie!

Another fun and productive shoot with the incredible Artemis Fauna. This time, part solo and part duo with Natural Happy Woman. We started shooting the shade and shadow images I wanted to try. Then, using the ambience and features of Artemis' home studio, we shot a number of "scenario" sets with costumes the models put together. Plenty of laughs, great results and company; what more could one wish for.

There are many fantastic models, of course. However, her natural talent, personality and wide-ranging abilities, combined with her perfectionism, application, and professionalism, make Artemis Fauna is simply unrivalled.

I shot with Artemis at a workshop where two other photographers and the host were also present. Artemis arrived on time with a cheery smile, ready to go and no hint of nerves. Immediately the right mood was set. During shooting Artemis switched rapidly and easily between chatty, warm, friendly, accommodating and her vast range of stunning poses and expressions. Her timing was exquisite. Artemis listened to direction and demonstrated a stellar knowledge of lighting and pose to create the shot. Often just the slightest nod of head or movement of shoulder would trigger the correction I wanted. Artemis was again warm, kind and friendly over lunch and was happy to give useful feedback whenever required. Artemis brought 6 different looks to the day and changed both clothing and makeup quickly. Again, each time she presented herself she was absolutely ready to go. If you have the chance to work with Artemis, do whatever it takes to make it happen (legally!).

English Photoworks

I worked with Artemis for the second time, when she again modelled for a Fine Art Photography workshop at my studio. It was another excellent experience for me and the session attendees. She's totally together and organised, and working with her is a breeze. Super creative, loads of looks with great variety, and fabulous posing (of course). The photos everyone made were stunning, and the day was a real success. I'm looking forward to working with her again soon and cannot recommend her highly enough: she's an exceptional person!
