I had the pleasure of attending Andrew Appleton's Concept to Completion workshop yesterday. If you get an opportunity I would highly recommend attending one of Andrew's workshops. Not only did I learn a great deal and gain further inspiration, I had a great fun filled day from start to finish. Andrew is not only knowledgeable but also an entertaining trainer and coach. Many thanks to Andrew, Zara and Sophie for modelling, Millwood studios and all who attended and helped make this a great day.

I attended Andrews cinematography course at the Photographic studio in Kemsing Sevenoaks. he certainly knows what he is talking about, and presents his knowledge in an easy and relaxed manner. I learned so much on this course I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I will also keep an eye on Andrews other courses and see if any appeal to me.

Great course, good venue and most of all, a nice bloke too.

Had a one to one workshop with Andrew on Monday. He's a really friendly guy with a wealth of tips and advice. I really enjoyed our session and his advice certainly cleared a lot of things up in my mind that will be invaluable in moving forward.

I can highly recommend working with him. :)

Attended a Portfolio Builder day through Andrew at Pipewell Hall, What a stunning location , Great Selection of Models, very hospitable.

Met some lovely , brilliant people , Andrew being one of them , All through out the day Andrew made sure everybody was happy, helped them out technically , although i through myself in at the deep end,I learnt a lot from him and everybody else, I got some lovely images and some new contacts,

Certainly has improved my confidence, and hopefully will be working with im again ,

Total amazing day and would recommend him to newbies like myself and experienced photographers/models,

I was the lucky winner of the HUGE £600 voucher prize back at the beginning of the year.

I have already made use of it by attending 3 of Andrews events. The first was a portrait course back in March. I really enjoyed the training, learnt loads, and got some great shots, 3 of which have appeared on the front page. I then attended a Portfolio Building Day, at the Beginning of April. The day was planned out really well. Both Andrew & Andrew Griffiths were on hand of offer expert advise, along with a small team from Hassleblad and Broncolor and some of their kit. The day was an awesome experience and all the models were fab.

I then attended Andrews Mastering Speed-lights course at the end of April, For me this was the most useful so far as I did not know much about my flashgun. All courses or events I have been on with Andrew have been well planned and organised, the models are second to none and Andrew seems to have an abundance of knowledge when it comes to all aspects of photography. Highly recommended...I cant wait until my next workshop at the end of June. THANK YOU. x

He is a great teacher with a wealth of knowledge and a refreshing perspective on lighting and photographic bravery. Regardless of your experience and standard you will come away with something new. A great photographer and teacher. Showed me you can get great results from limited resources. Listened at all times to my concerns with protocol and technical issues. You could spend a lot of money on group shoots and take much longer to learn your craft. One to one with a great model gave me great pictures and confidence.

Had a great lighting course with Andrew at Saracen House Studios in Milton Keynes. With the help of Zara Watson and Darryl Taylor we learned how to use the lights to sculpture the face and body. Also learned why the photos I love of mine work. Andrew is patient and very informative and really made learning a great joy. Looking forward to the next course.

Had a amazing shoot with Andrew last Saturday, he is such a professional, high skilled photographer who really knows what looks good! The weather conditions weren't the best but we still got some great images that haven't quite been edited yet, but I can't wait to seen the finishing touches!

As a model who hasn't done much modelling, and Andrew having years of experience he really guided me very well in what I needed to do and picked a great selection of outfits that really suited well with the locations. He made me feel very relaxed and gave me great advice about the industry and also made the shoot very enjoyable despite the weather!

Cannot wait to do another shoot with Andrew next year! Absolutely brilliant photgrapher! Highly recommended

I have worked with Andrew on a few occasions, a couple when I had just started modelling many years ago and one recently for one of his workshops. He is a nice guy, very professional and easy to work with, and knows such a lot about the business. Everybody seemed to really enjoy the workshop and some immediately booked slots for future events. 100% Recommended!

We had the pleasure of hosting Andrew in South Africa for a series of workshops and our first impression of the courses was wow! As a photographer he is knowledgeable, creative and inspiring. We would most definitely recommend Andrew as both a photographer as well as a trainer. He was well liked and makes complex topics simplistic.

I worked with Andrew yesterday on another portfolio builder day, I've worked with him lots over the last few years and each time he's just getting better, he's an amazing teacher for all budding photographers or photographers who want more lighting guidance, his portfolio builder days are always to a high standard, great venue, great model selections, lighting sets and yeah.. You can't go wrong! Everyone who goes always goes back and back on the next courses as they know they will be in for a fun filled event!

Yesterday was just amazing, we shot in a fantastic venue in Dagenham, Andrew had also sorted out styling and makeup artists for this event, he went all out! Very well run, small groups of photographers so they have more time and get the most out of each set/model.. 4 models in total, myself, Dalehair sparrow, Jordan Ebbitt and julie dumont! We all had a great time :D

Can't recommend him enough!

To any photographers/makeup artists/ models/ etc etc etc

'Behind every great man is a great woman' and I was fortunate enough to meet them both today.

I had a very productive shoot with Andrew, with Pinklady doing make-up and helping every step of the way with styling.

Andrew is very easy to work with, has a really good eye (okay two) for what works and was happy to try out lots of ideas.

Patient, friendly, highly skilled and professional, an absolute pleasure to work with.

I had the pleasure of working with Andrew a few months ago after one of his workshops with Megan Cash. Andrew is an amazing photographer to work with and a lovely guy. He is a very talented photographer, and is very enthusiastic with his work. Andrew pays excellent attention to detail which makes his work exceptionally beautiful. I would jump at the chance to work with Andrew again, and would certainly recommend him to anyone looking to have some fantastic shots taken!

Had an epic shoot with Andrew a few weeks ago! He is such a lovely man and was so so nice and easy to work with. He helped participate in the entire shoot including giving great suggestions towards make up and styling. He is so versatile and able to use such a range of lighting set ups and pull off so many different genres and styles. He is also incredibly friendly as he is professional and was a treat to work along side! We achieved some fantastic results, I couldn't be more pleased :) Absolute highest recommendation!!
