Alan is pretty damm special. A wonderful, warm man, with a great eye for detail and the best camera bag and equipment I’ve ever seen. Totally loved our first shoot, although we deviated off the original shoot plan ( this is very normal for me) we got some amazing images and who knew... Alan is a new secret shoe fetishist

I had a great shoot with Alan today. He was friendly and very considerate, bringing a foil blanket to deal with the cold between shots. I would definitely want to shoot with Alan again and we were already planning another shoot by the end of this one.

Alan was one of the photographers that booked on our urbex workshop and what a delight it was to have him on board.

From the minute he arrived he delved right in tackling the climbing, fences without complaining and even when we were busted at the first location and had to abort to a back up he was totally cool with it and was a total pleasure to work with throughout!

He was good at giving direction and knew the shots he wanted to get utilising the full potential of the location.

Alan was patient, kind, professional and courteous through the whole day and a total pleasure to work with.

Recommended to models of all levels, I look forward to hopefully welcoming you on another one of our workshops soon :)

Alan joined myself @JadeStacyMaria and @KatieC on an event today. We were shooting urbex and had the day planned out at a fantastic location we have used before. Unfortunately we had a run in with Secca and were politely asked to vacate the premises 8D

It could have been a disaster right there and then but Jade came to the rescue with an alternate location she had frequented that she knew was accessible and had no issue with security. Alan was thankfully up for this even though it meant a fair drive and the shoot running for a couple of hours longer than originally planned.

The new location was perfect but sadly very much open to the outdoors although it did have a roof! But, it was very much at the weathers disposal which incidentally left a lot to be desired - it was cold bloody cold!!

I had arrived as prepared as I could be, armed with thermal blankets, hand warmers and dressing gowns but it proved too much for me and I had to have a couple of breaks to thaw out. Alan was a diamond and had no issue with this.

From start to finish, Alan was a delight to work with, communication was spot on, he was helpful, a great team player, easy to chat to, fun to work with, had some good ideas for shots and just generally an all round lovely guy! I would whole heartedly recommend him and sincerely hope I get the chance again.

so i shot with Alan on an urbex group shoot yesterday and i love what i saw on the back of the camera i cant wait to see the finished edits!!! Alan was such a lovely gentleman and so down to earth and i would highly recommend him to all!!

It was easy for me to get to the station from London and Alan picked me up on time!

He was very accomdating and offered tea/nibbles throughout

He even made me lemsip as i’m just getting over a cold and made sure I was feeling okay throughout

I really enjoyed our shoot and look forward to seeing the images! I would recommend Alab and would work with him again

Alan is an absolute pleasure to work with. The whole thing was a spot on experience!

The comms prior to the shoot were so efficient, everything was arranged within an hour I believe.

I contacted him this morning (day of the shoot) to inform him I had come down with a cold but that I was still happy to go ahead with the shoot if he didn’t mind being around my lurgy. He was so understanding, very reasonable , left the ball in my court and didn’t make me feel bad about the situation as it couldn’t be helped.

He met me next to his house as the Sat Nav was a tiny bit out, and helped my carry my stuff, he offered hot drinks and snacks throughout, the Studio in his living room was well equipped and was cosy and warm to shoot in.

He made me feel very comfortable, was a total gentleman, allocated me suitable space to change, gave me perfect direction so there was no need to touch me to adjust my hair or outfits etc which is a plus for any model and those situations are a big no no.

He completely respected my levels and we had a cracking shoot. Even looking at the back of the camera I can tell there are a few gems already even prior to editing. It was a very creative but relaxed shoot and I would highly recommend Alan and has already discussed working with him again in the future on another project.

Really good shoot today with Amdramal, I'm happy he shot something with me that he's never done before and I'd very much like to work with him again :) really great at direction, one of the best photographers I've worked with!

Allan was one of 3 photographers to attend Anezka's bodyscape event and I was on hand to make tea and cut cake, I was also assistant should anyone require any help.

Alan knows his way around his camera's and although an over body studio light was in place, he took many natural light shots, not something I had considered before.

Alan brought a lot of ideas and creativity to the event, some of which I will keep in mind when Anezka has her next shoots in November and December. Thank you for all your input Alan.

I had the pleasure of working with Alan yesterday. He came to one of my group shoots. The pre-shoot communication with him was excellent. He came in plenty of time ready to shoot full of enthusiasm and ideas. I liked his creativity particularly his idea with netting. Alan was very friendly and easy going taking turns with other two photographers. We had an enjoyable time and I would be more than happy to shoot with him again.

Alan is without a shadow of a doubt one of my all-time favourite photographers! Why you ask? for more reasons then I could possibly list but let me at least try....

*Pre-shoot communications are ALWAYS spot on, fast, easy and to the point

*Always over prepared and set upon arrival or when shooting at my studio always on time if not early!

*Friendly and chatty, making me feel 100% at ease!

*So tentative! Making the best tea, feeding me and always supplying me with everything I could need! Even accommodation

*ALWAYS so professional, never pushing levels, great communication and relaxed way of shooting

*Actually a great photographer! That's right girls and boys this guy can actually use a camera! and takes the lens cap off and everything!

*Above all else Alan is one of the kindest, most down to earth, comical, talented men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! He really is a one off!

Would I recommend Alan? 140% 10/10 5* what other way can I put it?!

If you get the chance to shoot with this man take it!

I had a great home shoot with Alan on Wednesday evening after he responded to a casting call. From initial comms Alan was the perfect gentleman. He is incredibly easy going and personable and not only took some fantastic images but kept me entertained with stories about his life. He had a clear set of ideas that he wanted to shoot but we worked through them together throwing about ideas and came up with some great shots. He's a stickler for detail too which always pays off in the end result. I loved my 2 hours with Alan which absolutely flew by and of course he comes highly recommended by me and I hope to shoot with him again in the not too distant future. Thanks Alan :)
