Alan attended one of our workshops on Saturday at Big Shot Studio and I found him to be a really lovely, friendly guy. He was great on the workshop, very social and shared ideas with other attendees. Alan is obviously very passionate about his photography with a willingness to want to learn new things and widen his repertoire of photographic skills.

Alan was very professional whilst shooting in the studio and at all times remained respectful of the model. He was able to take on board what was being taught and implement it into his shoot with the model.

I would be happy to recommend Alan to models and studios alike. A really very lovely man.

Alan has attended 2 workshops of mine, the latest being in Gran Canaria. On the first workshop he was a joy to have in the studio and on this workshop over 3 days he was wonderful. I'm so pleased he booked. Having got to know him a lot better, I can honestly say that he was a total pleasure to have around, took everything I was saying on board and helped make the atmosphere even better than it was. A lovely man who understands the taking on of knowledge and applying it (having been a teacher). He communicates to models and is great fun. I would certainly recommend models to work with him. Thanks Alan - I hope we meet again, perhaps next time to watch you on stage!

I won a shoot with Alan in a competition at the most recent Cambridge Creatives Social! Having worked together before, I knew shooting would be easy and fun! We explored the local nature reserve by my house and took advantage of the pond and woodland there, trying various different styles. Keen for my input too, we exchanged ideas, posing options and generally had a great time. Very respectful, he conducted himself in a professional manner, whilst still ensuring a fun shoot. I had a great homeshoot with Alan yesterday :)

Clear preshoot comms, so I knew what to expect, he arrived on time, enthusiastic and polite! We tried several different ideas, experimental lighting set-ups, with beauty, portrait, fashion and lingerie. Alan suggested ideas and was happy to let me pose accordingly, providing helpful prompts. Our shoot just flew by, helped with tea and chatting.

Another absolutely cracking shoot with Alan.

This guy has a heart of gold and really makes every shoot fun and enjoyable.

We got some great images, the time flew by so we didn't manage to get through all the ideas.

3rd shoot with Alan but this time he had to put up with Two of us. Lol!

Steph and I held a duo studio day and considering this was Alans first time shooting soft gg he absolutely smashed it.

You could tell we made him feel at ease straight away and the shoot just flowed.

Could have done with a few more hours as the time just flew by but still we got some cracking images.

Alan is by far one of nicest photographers I've met, just a gentleman and a joy to be around.

2nd shoot with Alan in just 4 days...well I think that sums it up :)

I honestly feel like I've known Alan for years. We've instantly clicked and got some outstanding images together.

Alan has made me feel instantly comfortable on both shoots and I honestly couldn't recommend him enough.

Great fun to work with, loves a chat and a few cuppa breaks but I think that's what makes him such a great guy. He has all the care in the world for the model and making sure we're happy.

Had a fantastic first shoot with Alan at my home in Milton Keynes. Alan arrived early so we had a chat and a cuppa. Working with Alan is very relaxed and an absolute joy. He is a complete gentleman, making sure I was happy throughout and if I needed a break.

Alan was wonderful to work with yesterday

Showed up early with an extensive ammount of camera equipment and a big smile ...

A very interesting person considering he plays the villian in pantomimes hes quite the lovely charecter.

Knows what shots he wants to create and very easy going.

Our 4 hour shoot flew by and we got some awesome results
