I worked with Alan (and his wife) on a group shoot at Pipewell Hall,; where I was Alan's model for the day. Both Alan and his wife are lovely people and easy to get along with. They had great concepts to go with the era of the house and lots of props/clothing to work with too! Alan and his wife were both very professional and have a keen eye for what they want to achieve. His wife was also a fab stylist. They both made sure I was comfortable throughout and took care of me. I hope to work with them again :)

Artemis Fauna

Alan (and Alison) attended our second Jack Vettriano inspired event just yesterday. Alan was just as prepared as the last time, bringing books, ideas and even a print for me from the last shoot!! :)

We took more superb images and had a lot of fun in doing so. I am really looking forward to seeing them go up, and see the book one day! Thank you Alan :)

I've known Alan (and Alison, his partner) for approximately two years now and worked with them on two previous occasions as a model.

Yesterday's shoot was themed around The Graduate's Mrs Robinson.

We had plenty of communication beforehand and they came to the studio armed with a variety of outfits they had sourced, that reflected the era. Alan was very thorough with the technical side of things, adjusting lighting etc where necessary and Alison came prepared with the storyboard she wanted to follow, which we talked through in stages during costume changes.

A terrific shoot, great people to work with and highly recommended.

Alan booked a few hours on my studio day at Foto-smith studio end of last month.

Once in a while you get Shoot that your super excited about as it's completely different to the normal style you shoot. I honestly felt like a million dollars wearing real fur. Was a complete honour working with Alan and his Wife.

Hopefully I get to work with them both again very soon

worked with alan for the first time today at studio antics and i must say easy to get on with was a fun shoot doing jack vetranno style shoot would gladly work with alan again and would highly recommend him for all shoot styles evan for non experienced folk

A great team both with their own good artistic view points and that work superbly as a team.

Alan new exactly the sort of images he was after and was good both technically along with giving direction when necessary.

I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot and would definitely shooting with Alan.

Had my first shoot with Alan yesterday, What can i say? An amazing photographer who clearly has passion and experience. Works hard to get the right shot, Very polite and has a great personality to work along side which makes the experience well worth it. Highly recommended, can't wait for the results and hope we can work together again in the future, Thank you Alan for a great day :)

I had a shoot with Alan at Arianne last weekend. It went so quickly and we managed to get loads of images. Alan is a lovely, friendly, positive and enthusiastic man. I am very pleased with the images and would work with him again :) Thank you!

I have had a few shoots with Alan and his wife in the past, they are both very passionate about art and it certainly shows in the results. Some of the images I am most proud of have been as a result of shooting with Alan. I have never been made to feel quite so honoured to be at someone's home, I certainly joked that I don't even get made that welcome at my own parents home!

Absolutely professional, friendly and very good at what he does. I couldn't recommend Alan more. If he's ever looking for a non nude model then I would be honoured to work with him again.

I had a great shoot with Alan on the 4th August 2012, before the shoot he gave me a good idea of what styles and ideas we would be trying during the shoot and was very welcoming when I arrived. His lovely wife helped throughout the shoot adjusting things to create the perfect shot. The images looked lovely on the back of the camera and it was very refreshing to work with such a creative pair. Thank you for a great shoot. Tammy :)

I had a great 8 hour shoot with Alan and Alison on the 25th August 2011. They were both extremely accommodating and really looked after me! They were very chatty, full of ideas but willing to listen to mine too which was great. I was fed, watered and made to feel comfortable at all times. We experimented with loads of different ideas but the day wasn't stressful, it was a very relaxed atmosphere. Genuinely lovely people. I would recommend them to any model and hope to work with them again in the near future. Thank you :)
