Had my first shoot with Alan and I was so excited. He made me feel so comfortable, had a wide range of ideas/props in the studio. Him and Allison had such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Gave clear directions on posing and provided plenty of tea. Would love to work with them both again sometime.

I had my first shoot with Alan today with the lovely Alison close at hand.

This is the second time I’ve shot at OpenSpace Studios and it remained a great place to spend the day. So much possibility with an endless wardrobe to play dress up. Every females dream.

Alan was so professional with amazing ideas and from what I saw off the back of the camera I have no idea how I’m ever gonna choose which shots I’d like, or at least narrow them down.

Today was a combination of both our ideas. I was happy to be directed and Alan was happy for me to do my own thing thus achieving stunning imagery.

I will be going back in the near future to execute more of our ideas.

Highly recommend. So much fun

Another shoot with the fabulous Alan. This time Alan was shooting me with another model, Alicia K.

We had some specific ideas we wanted to try and achieve and Alan was fabulous in trying to recreate this. On the day the shoot was just fabulous, relaxed and full of giggles! Lunch was even provided which was genuinely lovely!

As always really well looked after!

Alan was fabulous with the lighting and happy to get out of his comfort zone also!...

The shots we created were beautiful, strong and sexy. So much variety!

Alan comes highly recommended both as a photographer, person and studio owner/host

Hope to work with him again during 2020!

Had a great shoot today with AlanJ, it was our first shoot in his lovely studio (Open Spaces) :D

The shoot was fun and very professional, pre comms prior to the shoot were excellent, the time just flew by and we got some stunning Images :D

Alan is a lovely person and a great photographer, I highly recommend him to all

I had a second amazing shoot with Alan, and his wonderful wife Alison, at Openspace Studio last month - absolutely adore working with these two, they are the loveliest of souls!

Aland wanted to try a few different lighting set ups, some beautiful clamshell portraits, a dramatic overhead light nude set, and the pictures look utterly awesome! It's always a pleasure working with Al, he's very chilled, respectful, full of brilliant stories, artistic and great to be around. Would highly recommend to all models!

This was my second shoot with Alan and we focused on a sin city look with me modelling alongside Retro Rob. Alan is a lighting genius, it's so rewarding working with him as ideas develop and then you see your efforts as a model on the back of the camera and realise you are working with someone who really knows his stuff!!

He is multi-talented and as well as his awesome photography skills, he designs and builds the best sets - they look cinematic. Working with Alan is not only fun - he has a great sense of humour - but you get the results you hoped for. He is professional, collaborative, kind, friendly and considerate.

I really hope to get the chance of working with Alan again this year and can wait to see some of the final edits of what we produced as I think they're very special. :)

This was my first time working with Alan (and Alison) although we may have initially discussed working together some time ago, so it was wonderful that we had the chance to do so on my recent tour.

Alan is clearly passionate about his photography and I found him to be polite, friendly and professional.

We worked through many sets and achieved some lovely results.

Definitely recommended and I sincerely hope we have the opportunity to work together again in the future! :D

I shot with Alan and his lovely wife Alison, for the first time (hopefully the first of many!) in May - they booked me for the day, and had so many incredible ideas. Alan had a Francesca Woodman inspired set up, got some haunting and abstract shots there, some moody angel portraits in the new bath set, and some beautiful nymph like portraits in the outdoor space at their home - it was an amazing few days, shooting and staying with them both! Was bloody lovely.

Alan is a friendly, positive and artistic soul, lots of patience and some awesome ideas, with an eye for creating the most stunning images.

Would highly recommend to all models and creative's!

Brilliant to work with Alan again! Alan is a lovely person to work with - so friendly and a total gentleman. He's such a creative photographer with an eye for incredible lighting. I was delighted to model with a set he and Alison put together - such attention to detail! Alan let myself and my co-model Arabella really get into character and enjoy the shoot. He always shows you the back of the camera and is happy to hear input from the models. Very highly recommended from me! I hope we get to work together again :)

Oh it was lovely to work with Alan again after such a long time!...

I had a shoot booked with another model, Alicia, and Alan got in contact to ask if he could shoot with us for a couple of hours afterwards!

Alan kindly picked us up from the station and introduced me to the studio, which is absolutely fabulous may I add, highly recommended!....

As before I was well looked after throughout my whole time with Alan & Alison.

Now shooting with Alan is a truly wonderful experience for many reasons.

Alison his wife is part of the shoots and she is just both so wonderfully lovely and creative, you can tell she comes from an art/performance background and it really shines and brings something to the shoot!...

They both put so much into their work, styling, themes, backdrops, props etc... They build beautiful sets to create something special and opulent.

And Alan just knows his lighting, he creates such an atmosphere in his images, which is entirely a natural talent.

The images we shot where absolutely beautiful and from what I saw, some of my favourite duo images with Alicia.

I would highly recommend both Alan & Alison to any model. You will be well looked after and have a wonderfully creative shoot!... They are both very talented individuals and have a real passion to create art!

Second shoot with Alan and this one was even better as we had Alison (Femmeart) with us...they bounce off each other so well...Alan is always smiling and very friendly...Alan showed me a book of the type of images he was after and we nailed it...I remember from the last shoot we did he really made my eyes light up with the amazing images...

Alan is a total genius! not only a remarkable Photographer but a photographer with a vision to create a visual delight with each image produced I had the privilege of working with Alan today at the truly stunning Open Space Studio with a custom made set made for the Retro Rob and Melany Tour 2919 it was a must to see and what a treat! .

Alans skills in lighting and set design are off the chain tell him your dream shot and your lighting and set are served ready to go!

Such a hospitable gentleman and a delight to be around I can not wait to add today's awesome images to my portfolio.

I had the pleasure of a one day shoot with Alan and his wife Alison at their superb studio Open Space. I was working alongside Retro Rob on a shoot idea that Alan and Alison had been developing for some time. They're hospitality was incredible and I can't thank them both enough for looking after us so well! The set that Alan had created but mind-blowing! It looked like a film set! We were so excited to get going and the time just flew by!

Alan is a real whizz with lighting and the shots he showed me from the back of the camera were extremely impressive, he was able to create the right lighting set up for the mood and story that we were trying to tell.

I can't thank Alan enough for being such a great guy to work with and for coming up with such creative ideas for our shoot - this is exactly the kind of shoot experience that I hoped to have when I joined the site two years ago!

I really hope I get the opportunity to work with Alan and Alison again soon. Very highly recommended! :)

I had an amazing shoot with Alan in his awesome studio, inspired by a wonderful erotic Polish photographer. He was lovely to work with and had built an absolutely superb, lavish set for me to model in. It was great posing for such exquisite looking images ad I really hope to work with Alan again!

Truly incredible shoot with Alan and Alison! I just adore their studio and working with them both. This was my first time shooting with them and I really hope I get to work with them again. Such a lovely couple who are right up my street when it comes to being so creative! They work fantastically as a team and know each other’s strengths. It was amazing to be apart of their creative process. Their pre comms are spot on and during the shoot they looked after me so well. Working with Alan and Alison is like a dream come true. Pre communication is simple, straightforward and got me rather excited about the concepts of the shoot! This duo are so creative, bursting with inspiration and passion for what they do. No details were over looked and when they arrived at MAP studios they bought with them a world of goodies, outfits, props and backdrops in order to build a set that was versatile and beautiful. By taking time at the start of their shoot to build such beautiful sets not only makes the images much fuller and richer it also bought out the best in me as a model. When myself and co model stepped into the set we felt transported back in time and it just made it so easy for us to tap into the vibes, poses and expressions Alison was looking for.

Alan is a lighting guru and Alison is so artistic I just wanted to pick her brains!

I'll wrap this up before I start rambling! In short, some of the most respectful and creative individuals I've had the pleasure of working with. The sort of people you want to work with every day. Thank you so much xx

Working with Alan and Alison is just a dream - they are not just wonderful to shoot with but have the most loveliest of personalities!

That, teamed with their beautiful ideas that are so epic to put into practice and both their ways around the camera, make them an amazing photography duo to work with :)

I worked with Alan and Alison at their home location; which is amazing! Pre-shoot comms were great and the shoot was so relaxed; yet creative. Lots of cool ideas were tried. I absolutely love working with them both as they really care for their models and do photography for creative purposes; which is refreshing. I can't recommend them enough and I hope to work with them again soon :)

Yes yes!! I had my second shoot with the dream team that is Alan and Alison at mine and Silks duo day at Map studio.

Once again they turned up with some wild out there and interesting ideas, me and Silk were instantly gripped by their creativity and couldn't wait to get started.

I love it when you can express your inner weird with like minded people and create art that is emotive and tells a story.

To say I enjoy working with his couple is an understatement, they are awesome, kind and inspirational. I hope I have many more shoots to explore the world they like to portray :)
