The Nice -  "America"

I've just fixed an old pair of Bludio Bluetooth headphones. And this was the first track that came up on an old playlist. It is rumoured that Leonard Bernstein called this the worst version of "America" he had ever heard. But for me it was always the best. Great to hear it again... :-)

Led Zeppelin. Brings back memories of teenage years, a load of us crashing around a mate’s house after last orders, pissed, laying on the floor and listening to crackly vinyl…

No crackly vinyl for me matey! lol. :-) At the time my dad ran a chain of Hi-Fi shops and we had lots of really nice kit at home "on demo". Of course, that was back in the day when most of the good stuff was British too: Quad, Armstrong, Leak, Rogers et al. Happy days...

Just loaded Led Zep IV, into the playlist, for old time's sake. :-)

Chicago Transit Authority - ‘25 or 6 to four’ live version on YouTube passion, commitment and artistry.

Oh and John Waite and Alison Krause duetting on ‘Missing You’.

And cos I’m an old romantic John Boden (from Bellowhead) et al doing ‘How Long Will I Love You?’.  It’s the ‘Tube scenes’ version in the film ‘About Time’.  Always makes me cry.
