References for ZigZag Retouching

Shane and I have worked together on and off for as long as I've been doing model photography.

When I returned earlier this year, and hit my first editing challenge I had no hesitation in reaching back out to Shane to engage him. Since then he's also provided me with a very lengthy and great value tutorial. So I also now know how to do what he does.

As that part of the process doesn't hold any real joy for me I'm happy to continue working with him and now have a long term arrangement in place with him.

If, like me, editing is a challenge/not your thing, give Shane a go. You'll likely be amazed at what your images can actually look like with a professional tweaking them.

I booked one of Shane's retouching sessions where he uses your image and creates video tutorials on how he would edit it, explaining as he goes.

Cannot say how brilliant it is! Slightly sad on how much time I may now be spending to get a high end edit but worth it.

Shane covers off every aspect and demos what he is doing, what he has clicked on, the brush used, layers etc etc and works through the image very methodically.

The videos are easy to follow along and you can revisit when you forget when was said. You also get your files back and the PS layers so you can go through each and see what's been done.

I cannot recommend enough if you are looking to improve your editing skills!

I am thankful for Shane came into this castings during the end of Christmas festive and again on the New Years Eve (six days ago), I was thinking 50/50 to message and find out, because if I don’t I am never going to know. Shane had communicated with me very quickly and like to reply back to his clients to be dealt with and also he done the job professionally done within 3 days depends on the look of the images that received from his clients.

I wasn’t really sure to see how my 3 images will be like, when I have received my images yesterday…in my mind I thought it will turn out like extra touches on my pictures, nothing really shine out like this! Such amazing creativity mind in thinking inside and outside the box. The colours are so bold, just the perfect way of sending my New Year 2023 on my Instagram posts yesterday and I also got my last image of the beautiful snowy, really love all three!

It was not I personally who approached Shane with the aim of getting them edited it was a friend who worked with me on the shoot. The same images had been 'attempted' before but did not quite meet the style of the image which was very specific: kawaii gamer girl, pastel colours, fun atmosphere etc. Shane most definitely met the requirements for what I visioned as the end product of that Kawaii shoot, I was very happy with the results, and messaged him myself on Instagram to thank him, but while I'm here I can go a step further and leave him a smashing reference too.

Edits were all completed promptly and sent over in no time to meeting the pitch exactly, highly professional editor and I look forward to working with him again in the future :)

What can I say that does Shane true justice for his skills.

Shane has completed three separate retouching jobs for me in the past week and half - over 120 plus images in total. I hadn't worked with Shane before but from the results returned from the first set of images I had no hesitation in sending the next two sets. Shane's communications were spot on and he nailed the brief supplied on all three jobs.

I thought I could retouch photos but with Shanes skills he is in a class of his own !! Love what he has done with my photo sets and I will have no hesitation in sending work through to him again and also recommending him to fellow photographers that use my studio.

OMG I forgot to write this Dude a reference!!! This is a massive injustice on my part, Sorry Shane!

I purchased 2 video tutorials, they were amazing and must have taken ages to put together. Shane is a natural teacher and explained everything at a pace that is easy to go along with. The included actions are now a part of my workflow, and combined with the knowledge he is able to impart, the package is a gift that keeps on giving.

A real gentleman in comms and an excellent teacher on Video. Worth every penny and would recommend to all!
