Back at Zan, unfortunately it was one of those days.... a no show day! Model didn't turn up, not answering calls, photographer fed up!

I didn't end up shooting but boy did Zan try so hard to make it happen! Coffee and castings on Purpleport, can anyone get here at short notice? Unfortunately the appeal for a modeless photographer failed on this occasion but not for want of effort by the team.

More coffee, tales of unreliable models, dodgy photographers and lots of fun stuff. What started with disappointment ended up as a thoroughly enjoyable morning, though not a shot was fired.

My shoot at Zan Studio was quite a new experience for me - there were around 10 or 11 photographers, and just me! But every single one of them made me feel very comfortable, and I enjoyed myself. The studio offers some excellent facilities, and they make sure to keep you fed with tea or coffee!

I had a really wonderful time and hope to shoot there again soon - couldn't recommend them enough!

Once again worked at Zan. Great welcome from the team, lots of assistance with setting up lighting etc. Nothing is to much trouble for these guys. They have also developed the art of advising and assisting without intruding.

New backgrounds and props each time I visit always something new to stimulate thoughts and creativity.

If you are a seasoned pro or a new guy wanting to experience studio work for the frist time Zan is the place for you. KarenR, model in residence is absolutely great and they can advise.on a range of models to suit every style and taste.

Word from those who know say there are further developments to come!

I firstly shot with Dave and Graham at Zan studio last week and had an amazing first couple of hours with them. They were both highly welcoming and made me feel instantly at ease providing lots of cups of teas,

Cakes and biscuits! I was so well looked after. We managed to achieve some great portrait shots followed by lingerie and art nude. We then moved onto the group shoot- what an amazing group to work with. They were such a great laugh and made the evening go quickly! I have no idea where the time had went! Fab from beginning to end... And everyone worked hard and took aome outstanding images.

I'm looking forward to going back to Zan studios again!

I always feel really welcome at this studio and I really enjoy visiting it everytime! The facilities are great, I really can't fault this studio and it's management.

The studios are nice ans spacious. Its about 10 min drive from the station. Its a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Everyone is very sweet. They have a perfect balance between strictly proffessional and laid back which is a bonus. Dave himself does very well with multitasking. He really knows what hes doing. I would deffinately highly recommend him and id live to work with him again.

Another great networking / group shoot at Zan last night, and now that they have opened a second studio the networking nights will only get better !! thanks to Dave, Graham and Karen for being great host's, hope to be attending many more events in the future,

I had a group shoot at zan studio on Thursday. Great communication, worked with around 11 photographers but was made to feel at ease and was looked after including lifts to and from the train station. It was a pleasant working environment and a fully equipped studio and private changing area.

I would recommend the studio to other models and photographers and look forward to working there again :)

Shot at Zan another couple of times, and it just keeps getting better!

Had a sneaky peek at the due to be opened Studio 2 at Zan, and it's great! Loads more space lots of new backdrops and stuff, just can't wait to have a play in there!

The guys at Zan are always friendly and accommodating and go the extra mile to ensure you have a good shoot. They are eager to work with new photographers and help and advise in a friendly manner, encouraging a new guy, like be to be more confident, explore and push boundaries in search of the perfect shot.

Once again used the wind machine with some materials to produce some great images of Ambrosia with both hair and the material floating in the breeze, to be honest if you use the high setting its more of a gale!

Thanks again guys, have three more sessions booked and can't wait to work with you again!

Great studio, nice people. There were four of us in the studio that day so it was nice to have a separate makeup/changing area and tea station. They have added to their collection of backdrops, lights and props which are all included in the price when hiring the studio. Would recommend and can't wait to see the new additional space.

My first visit to Zan Mill studios and wow!

What a great bunch! Very welcoming constant refreshments, good back drop and changing room. Fab bunch of photographers, I had a great night and have received some great images! I look forward to my next visit! Highly recommended to all!

I have worked with Zan Studio a number of times now and have been negligent in not leaving a reference!

I am very much a newbie to model and studio photography, and contacted Zan Studio basically to give it a go. David was very welcoming and gave me an impromptu but comprehensive overview of the lighting systems and facilities available. KarenR was my first model, and was extremely patient and her knowledge and experience helped me to produce some great images. she also gave me the confidence to take things further along my photographic journey.

Jimmy is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and is always happy to help and advise with both technical stuff or photography in general They are really all very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and supportive.

Facilities at the studio are fantastic, a wide range of lighting, backdrops and facilities are available to use, on my last visit Erin and I had some great fun and produced lovely images with some materials and a giant fan! Models commented positively on the facilities available. Free parking, easy reach of rail stations and motorway network and even has an on site cafe for bacon butties etc (models stuck to fruit of course!).

In the past few months I have worked at Zan,the studio is constantly evolving new backdrops, equipment, and now even another studio,

The people, and comprehensive facilities at Zan have really helped me to grow in terms of my photographic work and I am now producing images I am really proud of.

Recommended to both new novice and experienced photographers.

I've been attending the weekly networking and group shoot events over the last several weeks and I have to say what a wonderful and fun experience it’s been.

The owners have made me feel very welcome from the very first time I attended and they are extremely knowledgeable and always happy to help out with advice and guidance whenever you need it. They have accumulated many years’ experience in the photographic industry and can help in front of the camera or behind it, with both photography and modelling guidance which is great for both new and experienced visitors.

The weekly network event is a great place to catch up with like-minded guys & girls who are a fun bunch with plenty of friendly banter and so far we've been treated to a wide range of models from beginners to very experienced with something new to learn at every event.

The organised shoots are also a fantastic place to attend with high quality models and a smaller group of photographers, all sharing knowledge and helping each other - I have acquired a superb range of excellent images in a very short time and have met some great folks along the way.

I can’t thank David, Graham and Karen enough for providing a fully equipped facility to learn and develop my skills further. It’s always a pleasure shooting at the studio and if you are looking to attend an event or hire the studio you will be made most welcome, I'm sure.

I was welcomed and greeted by all the staff and members of the photography group so warmly this evening. A relaxed yet professional atmosphere where I felt safe and also had lots of fun!

The studio is clean, warm (oooft!) and has a changing room for models (a big bonus!!). A range of backgrounds/backdrops, lots of lighting, fans and heaters etc, as well as all the tea I could hope for!

Loved working at this great studio, and can highly recommend to models and photographers alike. :)

Had my first shoot at Zan Studios today with the stunning KarenR. It was nice to finally get over to Wigan and meet up with the owners of the studios. Its a wonderful place and has everything a photographer would like to have, the welcome was superb and tea and bickys were most welcome.

For the model the changing room has plenty of space to lay things out and get ready for the shoot, always a good thing with studios.

The Studio One that we used had plenty of lights to use and play with, backgrounds galore and lots more besides being fully equipped with gear and radio trigger to get you off and running quickly and easily.

Help is on hand if you need it or have any problems and I understand that Studio Two is well underway so that multiple shoots will be able to be done in the not too distant future.

Outside there is plenty of parking and access to the side is very easy with the instructions provided by the management.

Very highly rated studio, recommended to model, photographers and creatives alike, get in contact to find out more details about this superb establishment. Thanks again for the warm welcome I am sure that this will not be my last visit to the studios. A++++

Had my first shoot at Zan Studios today and was really impressed. First it was lovely and warm and had a nice cosy changing room. Setup was great with plenty of lights and backdrops. Really hope to shoot here more often in the future x

Yet again the crew at Zan Studio have made even more improvements, adding the second studio that has at least 4 backdrops including a green screen. You will not meet a nicer team than David, Graham & KarenR who by the way is the beauty & brains of the team but don't tell the boys I said that. I almost hate to leave feedback as its such a gem of a place to work & as yet undiscovered by so many. Onwards & upwards guys.

Great communication throughout and the team there made me feel so welcome, even making me great cups of tea! I was booked for a photography group, they were lively and full of banter so it didn't feel like work, more like hanging out with mates :) I'd definitely go there again and even shoot with the same group.
