Excellent studio with several distinctly different areas to be creative in. Covering 3 floors they have natural light and strobe lit areas along with an outdoor alleyway with worn brick walls. Graham and Karen work hard to accommodate photographers and really deserve the success that this studio is delivering. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I had a lovely time being shot at WN1 Studios. I had the pleasure of meeting and being shot by some great talented photographers and Graham and Karen are both so lovely too. They provide a great environment to be and the studio has a nice variety of rooms to be shot in. I would definitely recommend WN1 Studios and hope to return one day :-) thank you!

Having visited the studio previously on their "open day", I knew I wanted to shoot at this studio. It was just a case of finding a suitable occasion.

The group shoot evening with RosieB, provided the excuse for me to go again. I'd admired her portfolio, and the thought of her enhancing mine made in a winning permutation.

Traffic from Manchester was such that I arrived with bareley any enamel remaining on my teeth, but my usual vitamins of nicotine and caffeine (the latter provided by Graham) got me back up to speed for what proved a terrific evening.

Still regarding myself as something of a novice when it comes to using studio lights and directing models, everyone present was both friendly and helpful, with the result that I took better pics than I would have done had I been left to my own devices.

A great place, with a wonderful variety of sets, helpful owners, and on this occasion at least, a terrific model. I'd love to go again, and will do so. All we need is easier traffic....

Inspired Images

Had a lovely intimate photography evening at the excellent WN1 Studios at Wigan this evening with Graham and Karen experimenting with bodyscape lighting and posing. Learnt a lot, always a great evening at this studio.

I can honestly say that no one is currently working harder to add more variety of shooting and a friendlier welcome than WN1, I'll be back soon.

I had my first shoot at WN1 this week. I was booked for an nude evening event. Emails communications were great and all details provided beforehand. The owners are both lovely and great hosts to myself and all attendees.

The studio itself is lovely, even though it's a work in progress it's already a great place to shoot, it'll be amazing once it's finished. I'd definitely recommend WN1 and will hopefully be doing more events there in the future!

I can easily say WN1 is the best studio in the North West.

I have worked there often as a model for individual and group shoots, so when looking for a location to shoot two scenes of an 1920s anthology feature I am producing WN1 was the place to go!

The big space and dressing facilities worked brilliantly for accompanying our cast and crew. We shot mostly in the upstairs black room, which had the the perfect set fitted with suitable props and lights. Karen and Graham are just always approachable so helpful with everything you need.

Highly recommended as always!

Shooting stills today for London based film company Apres Vague Productions. The company were shooting two short films at WN1.

Amazing studio for both stills and film work. Great space to work over 3 floors, Excellent lighting for both stills and video. Loads of space in the models changing room for the models to prepare comfortably even with the numbers working together.

Used the black room today, ample space for the production team to work with three models and enabled the team to produce some excellent film and some first class still Images!

The studio guy was extremely helpful, assisting with lighting, and aiding where necessary with props and set. Also providing refreshments for models and production crew.

Highly recommended!

This is the best studio i have used! I love having photoshoots here, i have been welcomed each time by karen and graham and get made lots of brews :) and also make sure everything is right for you and help with lighting etc.

I modeled for a group shoot event and all the photographers was lovely to get along with and took fab images.

There is so much you can make a set with and its all beautiful! I will be here again... and again...and again. Best studio!

I love shooting at WN1 Studios. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming. The changing area is warm and it’s nice to be offered a brew. The rooms within the studio are great and varied. I really enjoy modelling here

I attended the weekly group shoot at WN1 on Thursday The veriety of places to shoot is really beginning to pay dividends with direction from Karen and Graham's expert setting of locations and lighting made for a great varied shoot. They also bring in quality models with lovely Lynne this week. This event can grow as there are many shooting locations and great varied lighting. Superb value for money at only £13. It was also lovely for photographers to get together and help each other in a friendly atmosphere where we can all improve our skills together. A great evening highly recommended

Had a great group shoot with KarenR on my first visit to this studio with the always helpful Graham on hand to sort out any problems. The informal style of the old studio has been continued here and it was nice to have met and chatted to some fellow photographers over a cup of tea.

It's a lovely big place on two floors with lots of space and though there's still lots to do, when finished it's going to have loads of options regarding a shoot and being no more than a few minutes walk from wigan's two railway stations and car parking nearby should make it a very lively and popular studio.

I highly recommend this studio as well as the location shoots they organise from time to time

Today I had my first private booking at Karen & Graham's WN1 studio in Wigan. I had been before but to events. The space & feel of the studios is great set over 2 floors. Graham as ever the master of the kettle always ready to pop in when required. I understand there are new sets in the pipeline due in the next 2 to 3 weeks.

My shoot with the lovely Beckylizz was pure pleasure & to be repeated in WN1 in the near future.

I highly recommend this studio & it very friendly . & welcoming owners.

I did a group shoot here, and found it to be a fantastic studio space, lots to work with and I was taken care of with coffee and biscuits and lovely, easy going company. I wasn't overly well during the shoot but had a great time being creative here. Highly recommended!

Back at the new studio with Pip the Gentleman.

First class studio, loads of shooting space in a variety of studio areas. Used the black room and the main studio area. Also shot again in the outside studio area making use of the external brick work and 'the alley' area. First class people, nothing is too much trouble.

The variety of areas to shoot allows you to maximise your shooting opportunities with your model.

Highly recommended!

My second shoot with this team albeit a different studio this time. The communication beforehand was excellent. During the day I was very well looked after by Karen and Martin. The studio itself is a upgrade to the old one offering different set ups with the option of working outdoors too. The studio is only 3 weeks old however it is up to an excellent standard.
