Mel was one of my first post lock down shoots and I couldn’t have had a better model to start me off. As always pre shoot comms spot on. Bang on time and shoot ready. Once the first outfit of the loads she had brought was chosen we were underway.

No direction required as Mel really knows her stuff. She gave me pose after to capture. It was so easy to get perfect images with Mel.

No only do you get a stunning model with legs that go on forever, you also get one of the nicest person ever to work with.

Must be about 8 years since we first shot and I can’t see us stopping anytime soon.

Very highly recommended as always.

Very much a happy 21st birthday since I shot Melissa for the first time back in 2012. Each of the 21 shoots has been a delight and yesterday's at the one time unlikely venue of Gloucester Gaol was particularly so given the suspension from shoots that we have both had due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions. As usual preshoot communications were excellent and Mel arrived at our rendezvous point early. It was great to catch up on news as we drove to Gloucester and once there Mel demonstrated that lockdown had not affected svelte figure, her excellent posing, her superb wardrobe of 'nearly there' clothing, her comfort at being naked in the presence of others, and her general enthusiasm for modelling. A gem of a model whom I am privileged to have shot so many times with many more to come.

Had a great shoot with Melissa at Neon Dreams studio yesterday.

She brought a suitcase full of outfits to cover all eventualities, and her years of modelling experience was clearly evident, making my job so much easier. She really understands what poses work best for any given scenario, working with the lights to the best advantage and offering a huge variety of shapes without direction.

Melissa is also very easy to get along with - personable, bright and chatty - which helped the shoot time just fly by.

I had an amazing opportunity to work with Mellisa Tongue at Photoion Studios in Waterloo. I must say that she surprised me, a beginning, with her effortless confidence and comfort in her skin. Mellisa is a flawless model and very down to earth. Ethos towards her profession are extraordinary. She is very experienced in her field and holds vast knowledge about studio equipment and it's use.

I will definitely work with Melissa again in the future and you should too.

I have worked with Mel on several occasions and on each pre shoot comms were efficient. She was punctual even after travelling a longish distance and came well prepared for each shoot.

Mel is professional, interesting and easy to talk to. Her experience makes for some great poses and she always comes up with ideas. I have no hesitation in recommending her and would like to work with her again. She works hard to deliver some great results.

This young lady never fails to disappoint.

I collected Mel from her home and she was fully ready and waiting at the allotted time. The shoot was once again full of professionalism but also fun and relaxed. Plenty of chat and humour but not to the detriment of really good work.

Mel was a bit of a guinea pig this time around whilst I experimented with different lighting set-ups and she showed immensurable patience and understanding whilst I faffed around pretending to know what I was doing :-)

Her commitment to the job was fabulous particularly as she was feeling a bit under the weather. A true professional.

Thanks Mel for another great shoot. Time flies when we work together and it is always a pleasure.

Shoot number 20 in the bag and a rather special one (but then they all have been to think about it !) as we were shooting in the superb Clocktower Studio in London. For once we travelled independently but Mel kept me informed of her progress on the way. Four hours sped by and there were still a good number of rooms that we hadn't shot in: ah well that's a good enough reason for another shoot. Actually I don't need a reason, Mel is such a superb model: I never tire of shooting her and I look forward to many more.

I had my first shoot with Melissa today. It was like meeting an old friend, we got on so well. Our pre comms went very well and Mel arrived on time ready to shoot. We chatted for a while and when we were relaxed with each other started our shoot.

Mel’s skills with her posing was superb and her professionalishm second to none. We had several breaks and had some snacks, reviewed the shots on the back of the camera, made adjustments when needed and I have a truly wonderful set of images.

Mel offered lots of advice and gave me info on possible outdoor locations to use on another day. Mel’s knowledge gained from several years of modelling was invaluable to me who has only been shooting art nude for a year.

We have agreed to do a second shoot and I can’t wait for that to happen. I so wish we had met earlier because Mel is such a lovely, beautiful person to be with.

I highly recommend other photographers to book Mel , she will make your day, and in my case the rest of the week end to. Thank you Mel.

Well I at last got around to arranging a shoot with Mel and I am so glad I did.

We had exchanged messages before the shoot and we both knew what we were hoping to achieve, so Mel arrived on time and ready to start.

Her posing is effortless and we finished the shoot early, having achieved what we set out to do.

Mel is charming, friendly and an utter pleasure to work with.

Had a great shoot with Mel. I explained that I am a startout photographer and she suggested tips that were very beneficial for the shoot. She is very easy to chat to, and when shooting she is very professional and has a good range of poses, especially when shooting full length shots. Mel was particularly in her element here, and her posing is very natural and elegant. I was more than happy for her to pose freely, and at other times she took direction very well, making all adjustments effortlessly. I highly recommend to all!

Mel was on my wtww list for years, pretty much from the beginning of Purpleport (7 years ago), but we didn't work together until March this year...

And wow. Just wow. I'm talking first pose, first click wow. She is one of the most dynamic, knowledgeable, sensual, determined and creative women I've ever met. Shooting in Gloucester prison she brought all my ideas, however vague, to life, and offered several of her own which worked flawlessly.

A few months later and we shot at waterfalls with the same exceptional results. There is nothing I would change about this model, she is simply outstanding and should be on every photographer's want to work with list (only don't leave it as long as I did)

Clearly an experienced model and both easy going and adventurous, we got a lot done in a short space of time, with Mel contributing good ideas to the shoot.

Mel worked to accomodate all my requirements for location, timings, and styling; she is definitely to be recommended, particularly for shooters wanting to improvise and experiment.

Our paths have crossed a few times now, and she does not disappoint!

Communication is excellent, and always great conversation with this model.

Mel takes direction well, but her own input is great.

Time flew by, always the sign of a good shoot in my book.

Do yourself a favour, and just look not just at the images on her port, but also the FPI's she has.

A beginner would be hard pushed to get bad shots with Melissa.

It goes without saying I can highly recommend Melissa, and is one of the models I would happily work with again :-)

This was my first shoot with Melissa, a one hour slot on her studio weekend at Sandon Studio. Pre-shoot comms were excellent, with outfits and ideas discussed and confirmed ahead of the shoot.

The shoot itself was absolutely splendid! I was put at ease straight away, and we shot creatively and effectively throughout the shoot. Melissa is an excellent model, she has a fluid posing style, she understands working with light (both artificial and natural), and she has a wonderful personality that shines through. Working with Melissa was an absolute pleasure, we covered several themes and styles from art nude and elegant fashion to high boots and smoke grenades, and all the way through she was bright and bubbly, a joy to chat with.

Fully recommended, and I hope to work with Melissa again!

Me and Mellisa have shot on many occasions now and every one has been awesome and she is in a very high persentage of my favouite images on my portfolio. Not only is Melissa an exceptional model but she is also one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. The first time we ever shot I was a pretty crap photographerbut even then with Mellisa I was able to get some very good images so much so that I can say she inspred me to impoove witch hopefully I have. We already have provisional plans for yet more shoots and I really cant wait. I just know I could never tier of shooting with Mel If ever she retires compleatly from moddeling it will be a very sad day for me as i feel as if I owe her so much for all the support and advice she has given me over the past few years. So heers to many many more shoots Thanks Mel xxxx
