Great comms before the shoot. Melissa turned up on time and ready to shoot, with a variety of outfits. She took direction really well and pulled off some brilliant poses.

A wonderful model to work with. Very professional, fun, smiley and extremely hard working. Stunning looks with a matching figure. The results are brilliant.

I did a whole day shoot with Melissa and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were shooting various styles of nude all day and I was fully prepared to make her feel as comfortable as possible but it wasn't necessary for me to do anything, she never complained about temperature, being uncomfortable or tired and kept really positive and focused throughout the whole day. She put a lot into posing and took direction really well and was very patient with lighting tests. Needless to say Melissa's figure is pretty unique and will be a great addition to my portfolio. Great communication, well prepared and also a dab hand at changing her hair styles quickly to match the theme. Cheers Melissa :)

Manet had Victorine Meurent and Picasso had Marie Therese Walter as their muses. I am proud to refer to Melissa as my muse, not because I am a great artist but because she inspires me on every shoot. Our latest foray had us shooting fashion and fashion nude around the exterior of my favourite local mansion and despite the presence of contractors putting up a marquee for a wedding Melissa was able to work in some art nude too. Her long limbs and innate sense of balance and symmetry combined perfectly with the classical architecture to create some great images. Her choice of clothing provided a fine range of fashion images from elegant to provocative. She is a model with whom I could never get bored, and I thoroughly recommend her.

I have just returned from touring the north alongside the lovely Melissa Tongue! What can I say? ... I always enjoy shooting with Melissa she's up for a laugh but she also gets the balance of having fun and being professional right. She works very hard to achieve the right poses for the photographers and she will go the extra mile by suggesting lots of ideas to the rest of the team. I don't like to compare models but I have never seen a model pose quite like her, even when she does the most basic movement it looks amazing. I'm pretty sure that it's probably been mentioned before but she is a strikingly beautiful model! Mel is a good friend, great travel companion and I definitely would work with her again. If you want to shoot a unique talented model then Mel is the right model for you! Recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of shooting with this totally awesome model. Melissa is without doubt a model of the highest calibre with the ability to work in just about any style. She can look edgy and she can look ultra elegant, and can be just a tad crazy too :) She has a most professional attitude, but definitely knows how to have fun on a shoot too. Absolutely recommended by me and I hope she makes another visit to my studio in the not too distant future.

I had my first shoot with Melissa yesterday and she was working along side Annie Moya, I can honestly say it was one of the most enjoyable shoots I've been on.

Melissa is very tall, has great poise and looks fabulous. She worked hard during the shoot to get some great shots and put a lot of effort into the poses. Professional, funny and a pleasure to work with.

I worked with Mel on her studio day at Hallam Mill yesterday.

She is an excellent model, producing strong and creative poses which were perfect for the type of shot that I was looking for. I found her very easy to work with, and I got some great images.

Still recovering from a whirlwind shoot with Melissa today. She’s an amazing model to whom great poses come naturally. She’s got a great easy going personality and takes the unexpected cheerfully in her stride, instinctively producing great poses time after time after time. Simply a joy to work with – a real tonic!

Into Darkness

Was a bit of a 'last minute' shoot - with the casting going online on Tuesday and shooting on the Wednesday, but it happened.

And thank goodness it did.

Really pleased with the results - Polaroids turned out lovely and the 118 is truly special.

Would definitely work with again, but hopefully next time when I've got a better plan - rather than "throw everything in the car and use a smoke machine"...

Any other positive comments about Melissa would only echo what has been said before. I'm just adding another purple star over there -->

Had my first shoot with Melissa yesterday it was a location shoot at 3 locations, the weather was great as was the model we got some very good images from all 3 locations. It was a real pleasure to meet and work with this beautiful and bubbly young lady who is also a very talented and professional model well able to pose herself as well as taking directions,it was a great shoot all round and I highly recommend Mel to all.

I must be mad. Why on earth had I waited so long to work with Melissa? At long last I've found out for myself that all the superlatives I've heard about her are totally warranted. She has a wealth of experience, she has individuality, she's creative, she's damn good at styling, she's... I could go on and on. So let's just say that she's one of the very, very best models I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She should be on every photographer's 'people to work with before I die' list. (And if any models get the opportunity of watching her work, they'll be treated to a lesson on how it should be done.) Yes - she's that special.

I haven't finished yet. There's also Melissa's lovely unpretentious person with a great sense of humour. So the shoot was not only highly productive, but was also hugely enjoyable. Absolutely bl**dy brilliant!

Mel and I had a four hour art nude location shoot yesterday. The sun shone, the afternoon was warm, everyone was very relaxed. We started with a garden shoot, then had a snack lunch before travelling to nearby bluebell woods and finishing in a deserted dairy shed. Mel was brilliant, left alone she poses effortlessly yet takes instruction well and is open to ideas. When in the wild things like stinging nettles, and uncomfortable ground in bear feet sometimes arise. Mel is definitely not a winger and gets on with it in a very professional manner. I loved working with her and we made some great images. Highly recommended.
