Today I had the pleasure of photographing Will at Parklands Studio. This was my first time working with Will. I would highly recommend working with such a great model. Great ideas, poses good banter makes a great cuppa too. What more could you ask for. Certainly looking forward to working with him again in the near future.

Scarlot Rose

I love working with Will! He's such a great guy and puts his absolute all into every shoot! We recently did a duo (turned trio) acro yoga event at York Studio which turned out to be a huge success!

On the day Will showed up eager and raring to go, we'd also gotten together pre-shoot to run through some ideas and Will even joined me for a few acro classes to get prepared! Unfortunately for Will, he had hurt his back before the shoot but continued throughout the whole day! He has such a great awareness of his body and his strength compared with mine and our differences in size work so well in images (though I'm sure you can decide for yourself!)

I love working with Will so much and am always happy to be booked for duo work together! I'm also very happy to recommend him to other models and photographers alike!

I had the pleasure of spending two hours with Will and Scarlot Rose shooting my first ever acro yoga and first ever male/female duo art nude. So I explained that I would rely a lot on them finding good poses. And they definitely came through for me! For the acro yoga, Will suggested pictoresque poses and worked effortlessly with Scarlot to get into a suitable starting position while considering how both their bodies would end up in relation to the lights and the backdrop, and then not only supporting Scarlot, but at the same time concentrating on what would look good in the images. The outcome was a great set of pictures which I look forward to spend some time finalising in Photoshop.

I was impressed not only by Will's body awareness, his strength and his poses, but also by the way he showed enthusiasm and dedication. He was energetic, dedicated and great fun to work with.

The second half of the shoot was a duo art nude, and here Will moved effortlessly from one beautiful pose to another, conveying emotions and a great flair for what works as an image. When I gave input to the poses, he immediately understood what I meant, and built upon it with his own initiative. Gorgeous!

A great morning well spent, and I thoroughly recommend Will to beginners (he will guide you well!) and experienced (he will follow your lead well) photographers. A star model!

Worked with Will & Scarlot in a group shoot in York today. The session was to photograph acro-yoga. Will was amazing. He worked so hard using his muscular frame to fantastic effect - showing great strength and effort. I got many great photos. I would definitely work with Will again either on a duo or singular shoot. Will is very easy going and has a good sense of humour. I recommend him to all photographers. Thanks again Will. :)

I've just completed a duo shoot with Will and Scarlot Rose and what an incredible shoot it was.

Will always puts so much effort into a shoot and worked perfectly with Scarlot to produce some awesome poses. His strength and physique complemented Scarlot perfectly and ensured that the poses looked incredible.

I've shot Will a few times now and certainly look forward to working with him again, he's a total professional.

Had a lovely shoot with Will this week at Biscuit studio. He’s easy-going, extremely friendly and an absolute pleasure to work with. Arrived on time and well prepared. The lovely Will asked if I would be interested in doing a duo studio day at a Yorkphoto Studio, and well how could I say no!

Will and a I have been working together for the past three years and he is still my first suggestion when anybody asks me for a male model recommendation. Extremely hard working, reliable, fun, chatty, easy going, it honestly doesn’t matter if you’re a new photographer or a seasoned pro you will be met with the same respect and professionalism, he’s happy to go with the flow or bounce ideas around and make suggestions, and he will go that extra mile to get you that special shot of the day.

It’s so easy to look at shots of Will and speculate that he would be intimidating, or arrogant with his extreme height, competition ready body, and incredibly expressive looks, but he is honestly the nicest, and friendliest person I know, forgetting the fact that Will is one of my best friends he truly is a pro at the top of his game and it’s simply impossible to get a bad shot of him.

Absolutely awesome studio day with just so many happy faces at the end of the day, I’m already seeing some great edits coming out and already one FPI from the day.

Always highly and easily recommended, can’t wait to see you again,

Had an absolute blast working with Will on a duo day from my home with GaryMac Photography :)

As always Will arrived early, ready, willing, and able, with his usual enthusiasm for the day, with Will having already shot with Gary earlier in the month they already knew how well they work together so it was such an easy going day with soooooo many giggles.

Gary came with a story board idea for our erotic day with quite an interesting story line which Will put his all in to just as I knew he would, he came with lots of outfit changes and accessories to work with but was of course happy shooting nude with me.

I’ve said it so many times but I really like to push the fact that Will is the most expressive male model I’ve ever worked with which is why he is always my first choice for duos, besides the fact he’s my best friend!

Awesome, awesome day, and I’m in love with the shots we got including the brilliant outtakes!

Duo Shoot with Will and Scarlett Fox at Ginger Cottage.

Having shoot with both Will and Scarlett before and knowing that they both knew one another and had shoot together before I was happy to plan a really ambitious storyline shoot and venture outside my normal comfort zone of a standard couple shoot with an attempt to string the whole shoot together

as if the events portrayed happend in real time and I was the candid observer/recorder of events and was really, really was not sure how things were going to pan out

Pre communication with Will and Scarlett were superb

Great meet, greet and brief settled things down into a super friendly atmosphere and a loose plan of the shoot sequence agreed, Super Sized Will and super svelte Scarlett, both bought into the ideas and both added to the ideas with fantastic ideas of their own

Will and Scarlett then blew me away with their total absorption in the story line and getting the most awesome and brilliant poses, ohh and having a good laugh and a joke along the way

The whole shoot was booked for 6 hours and you can sometimes worry that the ideas, particularly for a couple shoot can dry up a bit, not a chance the time passed much to quickly with still a bucket full of ideas to pursue, we were all shocked when checking time realising that the day had just disappeared in a energy filled productive blur. :-)

Will is; totally dedicated to getting the best images, totally down to earth,creative, talented, professional, executes poses with strength if required and gentleness if the pose calls for it

Well that can I say, had the pleasure of working with Will before but this was my first studio shoot with him, and was not disappointed.

Love doing location work but not the time of year for it at the moment.

Really like working with Will buts in a 100 % on the day, not to mention buts up with my mad ideas and never let's me down or says sorry I don't want to do that.

Great to see you again will and to have a good catch up. See you in the new year. Thanks again fantastic model to work with looks incredible on the images.

Well organised, athletic, professional, impressive all describe Will and a nice guy to boot.

Had a great shoot, some epic pictures and a nice time.

What a great shoot we had with Will and Scarlot Rose together. This was a 4 hour small group workshop at Natural Light Spaces. Nice relaxed atmosphere, not rushed but plenty of time for 1:1 shooting. Good lighting set up and organisation from Tris.

Both models worked really hard and as the session progressed they developed new poses to add to their expanding catalogue! Superficially Scarlot did most of the work but Will was the strong reliable base holding her high with apparent ease. A good workout for both models and I will definitely be looking out for them again.

Well done both!

Scarlot Rose

Will is AWESOME!

Not sure how to say it better than that, we've done a couple of studio days (individual photographers) and group shoots together and Will is fantastic in either situation. He puts a lot of work into his communication and organisation/promotion of an event and on the day works his butt off! Our most recent shoot together was at the Natural Light Space on a very cold December day - this didn't deter Will at all, he worked so hard doing lifts, acro poses and constantly being dynamic in his movements. He's an incredibly strong base and makes it look effortless and feel safe.

It was just a suggestion on our fitst shoot that I show him some acro yoga and since has kind of become 'our thing' he's a super fast learner and together we've been able to create some truly unique poses. I find Will also has so many styles he's capable of and purely as a duo we've done: fashion, lifestyle, romantic portraits, art nudes that are close and connected, nudes that are strong and dynamic, dance, lifts, acro yoga/balance, lingerie, cosplay and so many more!

I'm super happy to recommend Will to other models and photographers and am already excited for our next shoot together!

This was my first experience shooting with a male model, and I couldn’t have asked for a more friendly and easy going yet extremely professional gentleman.

Will worked tirelessly for hours, demonstrating his immense strength and balance. He must have been knackered, but the resulting images look effortless.

I would love to work with Will again, and I definitely recommend him.

I must admit my experience shooting male models is zero so when i had a shoot with Will and Scarlot I was apprehensive but what a surprise. They both tolerated my lack of experience and did some great posing, add to the fact that this is a great guy who puts you at ease and it made for a great though short shoot. Maybe next time I can get a longer one. Recommended.

When I saw that Will Newton & Scarlot Rose were holding a duo art nude day at Barlow Studio, I immediately jumped at the opportunity & booked a slot. Suffice to say that the shoot was awesome, excellent pre-comms from both Scarlot & Will, very friendly & relaxed, whuch made for a great fun shoot, & the time just flew by. I had some ideas for the shoot, which they both bought into, took some props along, as did they, lots of creative thoughts & ideas discussed & tried, & what can I say, the images are fantastic! :-)

Thank you so much for a wonderful shoot, hope we get to do it all again! :-)

Scarlot Rose

After seeing Will's impressive work with Scarlett Fox (and coming highly recommended) we decide to get together and discuss the potential of some duo work. Will's enthusiasm is fantastic and it wasn't long before we had dates booked in the diary and an event coming together! Wills communications outside of a shoot are great, we shared ideas, planning, curating the whole day was easy when you have someone equally as passionate on board!

So yesterday the first of our duo events came around and I'm not entirely sure Will realised what he let himself in for! :P If i'm going to work with another model on an event i'm curating they sure aren't getting off easy! I had some unique ideas for poses with Will that required a huge amount of strength, combined with flexibility and a lot of endurance but he nailed it! And not only did he take great direction from me and the photographers during the day he also had LOADS to contribute himself! I find that not every photographer shoots M/F duos on a regular basis so Will was super prepared to fill in any gaps with fantastic ideas when asked and really did give everything 110% (even working with an injury he still pushed through and created some super impressive shapes!)

It can also be a challenge working with someone of totally different proportions/height/build but Will knows his body so well, every pose is spot on and made my life so easy to pose with/on/around him! He is in great physical shape and knows how to work his body well with the light and is a really lovely, down to earth guy to top it all off!

At the end of a long, tough day I asked Will to shoot some self-portraiture with me and the enthusiasm was through the roof - we refined some shapes and and even after a tough, long day he was still giving every shot his best! I cannot wait to work with him again and already have our next duo event lined up!!

Very highly recommend to other models and photographers alike! :D
