Hi, I'm Phil :) I shoot sometimes for commercial clients (usually for book covers and related advertising) and sometimes just for fun (usually fashion, portraits or beauty). I'm based in York but sometimes shoot in London or around the south.

For commercial shoots I'll generally have a very specific brief of the look I need and I'll contact suitable models. I tend to do lots of pre-shoot communication and then a four hour shoot so we have plenty of time to get the shots we need. Have a look at my references if you want to get a feel for how I work.

If we're shooting just for fun I like to get out of the studio if possible and shoot with natural light in a cool location :)
