I recently hired the photography studio for a shoot and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The space is absolutely fabulous, with a large cove and great windows that allow for beautiful natural light shots. The studio had all the equipment I needed to execute my vision, making the shoot go smoothly and efficiently.

Overall, I would highly recommend this photography studio for anyone looking to rent a space. With their fantastic facilities and top-notch service, they truly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be using this studio for my future shoots.

I had a photoshoot on March 4th 2023 at West Surrey Studio.

I received a very warm welcome from Malcolm. His studio is very well equipped and as I am travelling it was really great to have access to all of that. So you can have lights and flashes, different backdrops (black, white or colour), and a spot where you can work with natural light thanks to the two huge lateral windows. There is also some furniture (sofa, stools, etc.) and a few accessories.

Another plus is that the place was heated (models do appreciate!). There is also a backstage area for the model fully equipped with mirror (another great set for me) and heating.

Another asset, I came with the train and it is at a three minute walking distance from the station.

As a conclusion, great person, great studio (big enough for all your crazy ideas and for a long length). Thank you so much Malcolm !

As my go to studio it was great to have my latest shoot with the fabulous Francesca Quici in the West Surrey Studio. Malcolm had the place spic and span ready for us to get creative. Highly recommend this studio.

Another great shoot here again, this time with Derrick Thompson. Everything was set up for us lighting wise and we were left to it, Malcolm is great as he's there if you need him but also happy to stay out of the way if not. Even when I turn up massively early for my shoot, I was able to stick around and Malcolm even mentioned where the nearest coffee shops etc were incase I wanted to venture out whilst waiting for the photographer to arrive.

Great studio, lots of heating to keep warm through the colder months and lots of great props and backdrops to use too.

Thanks again, I'm sure it won't be long until I'm back again... this is soon becoming a regular studio for me and would highly recommend it! :D

This is the second time we have used the studio for a group dance shoot and again it was a great shoot. Malcolms communications was excellent and the studio had all the facilities we needed. I'm sure we will use the studio again and thoroughly recommend to all.

Yesterday I had fantastic day working at West Surrey Studio. I can highly recommend it! Malcolm was also very welcoming and friendly. He also made sure everything was okay during my shoots with other photographers.

The studio is so well-equipped, with great features and is very spacious.

I had the pleasure of shooting with Jasmine High today with tuition on lighting with Malcom. West Surrey Studios is a really versatile studio and I'll be back! Malcom was a fantastic host provided refreshments, a tour of the studio, and as a novice in studios gave me invaluable tuition, direction, ideas and regaled me with really wonderful annictotes and openly shared his experience to further my own knowledge. All in all, 20 out of 10!

I just had my second shoot at West Surrey, this time with Jasmine High.

It's just a brilliant place, no end of setups from a straight-forward cove to a challenging mirrored room.

Malcom is welcoming and knowledgable and willing to help out if needed.

This is exactly the space that's needed in the West Surrey area and I'm already planning to use it again soon.

Back again recently with AndyTwick and this is slowly becoming a favourite studio of mine as it's not too far from me and Malcolm is always very helpful.. this time round he wasn't there for the initial shoot but was there to help the photographer set up etc and I had been there before so knew where everything was anyway. He did check up on us to make sure I was warm enough and that everything was ok though which was very kind.

I like the studio so much I will be back again in a couple of weeks so very much looking forward to that.

Highly recommend using this studio if you haven't already!!!

First shoot at this studio today.

Malcolm was on hand to do the tour and help with initial setups which was much appreciated.

Lovely big space, plenty of natural light as well as extra lighting options, different backdrops, props and shooting areas and more still to explore.

Really hope to get back there again. Definite recommendation from me.

A big thank you for Malcom for stepping up and providing such an amazing studio space. 3 hour was definitely not long enough to maximise the space.

A number really good lights, natural light, white backdrop, full kitchen, hair & makeup changing/ room facilities was a great bonus. Malcom was fully professional sharing all the directions & instruction getting to & into the studio, providing all details of needed. Despite a short power trip, Malcom told us where to flip the power back on with a phone call.

Would 100% use the studio again when looking for one around London, and recommend it to anyone trying to find a decent studio space with great natural light, that double up as an industrial photoshoot setting.

Wow what a fab studio!!

Had a studio day here recently, and cannot thank Malcolm enough for his hospitality throughout the day. He’s there if you need him but also stays out of the way if not, there are so many different backdrops and props you can use, heating was always on hand to make sure I kept warm throughout as well which was very much appreciated!!!

You definitely need to use this studio if you haven’t already, I will definitely be back!

My first visit to this studio, a studio day with Leah Meraki.A spacious studio with quality lighting and big windows for daylight.Plenty of props to play with I had a two hour shoot, you need more than that. Malcolm is on hand to help in any way when needed, but leaves you to get on with your shoot the rest of the time.Conveniently situated for west London photographers, a big car park nearby although there are some free parking areas if you plan ahead.

Highly recommended by me.

I used WSS for the first time on a studio day with Leah Meraki.

This is the kind of place I've been looking for for ages! Loads of space, high ceilings, good coffee and a genial host.

Malcolm is really welcoming and interested in what you're doing without being intrusive.

He even painted a wall in the bathroom set so that I could get shots in there!

I will definitely be back.

What an amazing last minute shoot I had in Surrey with Malcom the owner,

The studio has everything you can think of and lots of space including a big changing room for the models.

He was friendly & professional throughout & had lots of ideas in mind including testing some lighting ideas and equipment.

I received the images fast & they are amazing! Really enjoyed the shoot. I will be back for studio days in the near future :)

Big thank you to Malcolm, for letting me use the studio this week, as has been said below this place is a gem. Its location makes it easy to get too however you are traveling. Its well equipped many and various background to use. Available light use is just as easy.

Wow! I had the most fantastic shoot at the studio!! Malcolm the owner and brilliant photographer in his own right, welcomed and helped In every way, lighting, technical knowledge and a brilliant cup of coffee. The studio is amazing, so much space, easy to work around the model, fantastic lighting equipment and stunning chairs and props. Definitely will be back, it was just perfect!
