As part of a project for a Sci-Fi shoot I used Kirsty for make-up and hair styling. She was brilliant from the moment I sent her the mood board. She produced make-up and hair styling just I envisaged and was very attentive during the shoot, making sure that everything was perfect.

Very friendly and easy to get on with, I would highly recommend Kirsty and most certainly will be working with her again.

Had Kirsty come and do the makeup for a shoot with Irida including a body pain. Lovely and friendly and ever so helpful. Her make up skills delivered exactly what I hoped fo. The body paint job was wonderful and brought the best out of Irida in her posing. If you need a MUA I would highly recommend Kirsty.

Another incredible shoot with Kirsty with a big theme: this time, Geisha inspired high fashion.

Kirsty is absolutely brilliant and I could not recommend her more highly. The transformation she was able to achieve over a few hours is simply incredible. Her hair, makeup and bodypainting skills are unmatched. Moreover, she took ownership for a lot of the styling, props, and pose ideas, which was really helpful to me as the model.

She is gentle, kind, hard-working and always helpful. But most importantly, it's a real pleasure to be around her and she makes the day fly by.

As always, I had an amazing time and it was worth every bit of back/ neck/ scalp pain in the end haha!

An incredible third project with Kirsty - perhaps our best...? Best so far anyway... Highly recommended.

At The Factory Studio, Kirsty transformed Ria Fantastic into an extraordinary high fashion geisha, with wonderful elaborate hair/make-up and genuinely stunning Japanese-inspired artwork on her back. As ever, Kirsty spent time and energy sourcing fabric and accessories, and evolved the theme to thoroughly exceed my expectations. This was a four-hour preparation process on the day - in addition to her artistry, I value Kirsty's ability to maintain a positive and energetic rapport with the model, which is so important to the ultimate result. I'm not sure how we will ever replace Ria who retires and is so stunning for this work, but I feel sure that there are more wonderful projects in the tank...

Lightning can strike twice it seems, and its easy to recommend Kirsty to the highest.

Having worked with Kirsty on a complex Avatar bodypaint in late 2019, she was the natural choice for our Poison Ivy project. She recommended model ZoePage and together they achieved the most incredible transformation, every bit as stunning as before.

Not only did she deliver extraordinary hair and intricate designs in a full body paint, but Kirsty also custom-made accessories and styled the shoot faultlessly. Maintaining good humour and rapport throughout, she even assisted in the shooting at the end and gave valuable feedback on the finishing. Incredible skill and huge effort shows in the results. Well done and thanks.

If I had to sum Kirsty up in a few words I would say she is bloody AMAZING!

This was my first shoot with Kirsty and she completed two different looks on me in very quick time. She is so so talented and an expert in make up skills and hair styling.

She’s so friendly and was lovely to chat too as she worked on each look. She also has a banging playlist!

Overall Kirsty is awesome and I would love to work with her again! X

Kirsty did my makeup for a Halloween themed shoot and managed to rock out two looks in 4 hours (complex and beautifully painted looks too!)

She's good fun, super efficient and organised.

Have only done a couple of shoots with a hmau and what a difference Kirsty made. Both her looks were amazing and I was surprised how quickly she worked. Kirsty was very professional and is obviously a very talented makeup artist. She was very friendly and easy to get on with and I enjoyed watching her work. Kirsty is an incredible makeup artist. We had excellent pre-shoot comms, discussing and sharing ideas which really set the scene for what was an incredible shoot.

She came armed with ideas and preplanned how she was going to approach our Halloween themed shoot and worked great flow with the model throughout the evening. Both looks were incredible. All the photographers were amazed at how quickly Kirsty was able to get the looks done to such a high standard.

Kirsty is really personable and enjoyable person to have on the shoot, she got on really well with all the photographers and was really engaged with the whole process from start to finish.

Kirsty has to be one of the most incredible makeup artists I have ever worked with.

Honestly, I cannot say enough about her, and I'll be saying it to anyone who'll listen!

From the start, when I contacted her about a Na'vi shoot, she was incredibly communicative, unlike many HMUAs, and answered my message in great detail. She clearly thinks everything she does through, which I value so much, especially in a HMUA, and especially for such a complex look. This became even more clear on set, when (after showing up early) she revealed a homemade tail, as well as multiple pieces of jewellery, and a leather loincloth, all made in her own time!

Kirsty kept incredibly close to her detailed set plan, and managed to fit extra detailing in for most parts of the process, ensuring that we were not only on time, but also looking out-of-this-world, like an extra from the movie! Gentle, funny, talkative (but not incessant), clean, organised, and extremely talented... Kirsty is honestly the perfect makeup and hair artist. The full package, and all this at what I think are VERY competitive rates! (I think I got a bit of a steal to be honest).

There's no one I'd rather help me wash glue off my ears in the tub. :P I really hope I'll be involved with many more projects in the future where I can include Kirsty.

Kirsty and I worked with Ria Fantastic on a complex full body paint, where she created an Avatar Na’vi.

Her preparation was outstanding, including creating bespoke costume pieces and jewellery. On the day she did hair, full paint and makeup, achieving remarkable results. The look she created was entirely authentic; I even had difficulty hanging on to reality when looking through the lens. She also had a great rapport with model Ria, essential as the work obviously takes some hours, which I didn’t take for granted and really appreciated.

Kirsty exceeded my expectations throughout. I simply cannot imagine anyone doing better for this sort of work. Of course I will work with her again.

What I love about Kirsty is she has so much to offer. She's creative and I really feel her energy. She's passionate and its quite apparent that she has the talent to make superb results.

Anyway, on to the shooting skills. She turned up early, fully prepared. She gave super direction what she wanted from today, and I loved that. I knew exactly what she wanted to get from this.

I had an absolutely AMAZING photoshoot with Kirsty! We worked together on a group fruit themed beauty shoot, it was the most fun I've had on a shoot in a long time and definitely one of my shoot highlights of 2019!

Kirsty is an incredibly talented and creative makeup artist, she created the most beautiful and unique fruit inspired looks! Her makeup skills are absolutely insane and her technique is professional, detailed, and crisp!

The final images were amazing and we were even featured in the August 2019 edition of Elegant magazine.

Not only is Kirsty amazing at makeup but she's so easy to talk to and a nice person to be around. I can't recommend Kirtsy enough!!!

Kirsty did my hair and makeup for a candy themed shoot yesterday. She really knows her stuff and uses quality products, also is very easy to get on with and makes you feel so relaxed. The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic, seeing her pull the different looks together from subtle beauty to candy madness was brilliant. Very highly recommended!
