I'm a long term hobbyist photographer and have been well and truly bitten by the creative portraiture bug!

I love to create shoots based on a concept and then look for the right team to make it come to life.

As time has moved on i'm also looking to get published and that is always an objective for the shoots i plan nowadays if possible.

I am always using Pinterest to create and formulate multiple mood boards at a time around various ideas and find they help communicate my objectives to the HMUA that i bring on board, as well as to the models.  When collaborating it helps to combine ideas to make the shoot work for us all.

Wherever possible I will style the shoot myself so be assured I will always have outfits prepped and ready to go (unless communicated otherwise), however I am also open to additional contributions to the theme on the basis that it fits the brief.

I almost always work in a studio although i am tempted by location shoots but i find i don't have enough hands for all the gear i want to take with me!

I am keen to work with people that also want to collaborate to produce some seriously great images and have something a little different in their portfolios.  

I work full time so have to edit over the weekends as mid week photography just doesn't get a look in when it is up against the day job, but i'm committed to turning the images and edits around as quickly as possible without causing myself to burn out in the process!  

I aim to share my final selections of early processed / proof images 1-2 weeks after the shoot (unless advised differently) and then will fine edit approx 5-10 of the HMUA & model's selections after that.  The number of shots however will always depend upon the day itself and the strength of the collaboration.

I consider myself easy to get along with, hard working and someone that strives for perfecting the look i'm hoping to achieve.  

I would be delighted to work with models and MUAs that want to bring something 'a little different' and 'a lot creative' to the shoot!
