Steve attended JD Tuition's workshop with White Angel in my Derby studio today.

Good interaction between Steve and all the other participants involved - you're very welcome in my studio any time.

Steve's now attended two of my workshops, in diverse environments.

He's quiet and reserved, but also knows what he's after with his camera, and worked really well with the model - this is easier to see in a smaller, quieter group, as we had on this occasion.

For me, perhaps the most important observation about any photographer is how they interact with the model, and Steve's politeness and good humour impressed me.

I got to meet & work with Steve for the first time yesterday at an organised lighting workshop at Studio 2.6 Derby.

Steve is a friendly & pleasant person & carried himself professionally in direction in poses to capture the best angles for the lighting on the sets.

I’m pleased he came along & we got to work with each other.. i would happily work with Steve again & looking forward to seeing what we created.

I recommend to all photographers, models & creatives to work with him too!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Steve came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with the wonderful Ashleigh Rae as part of her two day event. All pre comms with Steve were great and he made everything very easy to organise.

Steve arrived on time with everything he needed for a great shoot. He worked well alongside Ashleigh throughout their shoot time and was always respectful of her and our shoot location.

We would highly reccomend Steve and very much look forward to seeing him again soon! Thank you Steve!

Steve is such a kind, attentive, and friendly person. Working with him is always easy and fun—he made me feel so relaxed, and the time just flew by! He’s always polite, open to my ideas, and also offers some great suggestions. I felt completely free to pose creatively, which made the shoot even more enjoyable.

I’ve worked with Steve many, many times over the last few years but our recent shoot at Daniel’s Mill was, in fact, our first one-to-one!

Working with Steve is always like visiting with a friend. He’s lovely company, and it was so nice to have the time and opportunity to catch up just us two. The time just flew by!

Steve’s photography is stunning, and I absolutely adore the images he’s kindly shared with me. Some of the images we captured using the natural light through the downstairs window are amongst my favourites we’ve ever taken, and that’s really saying something!

JIX Studios

Steve shot at the studio today for the first time, with experienced local model Melanie Bond.

Although I wasn't able to open up and give the tour myself, Paul (Tugmaster), one of my trustees did all this for me. Paul made himself scarce once Steve was comfortable with all the lights and ready to shoot, but enjoyed chatting with them both prior to this and once their shoot was finished for the day. From my perspective I couldn't have asked for more; they were on time, respectful of the studio and it's props, and left it in the state they found it.

Hopefully Steve got some great shots and enjoyed his time at the studio with Mel. I certainly would have no qualms letting Steve use the studio again.

Melanie Bond (Butler)

Steve arrived early to our shoot at J9 studios. And had a tour and run through with the photographer who opened up. Everything was set up to go when I arrived. Steve was happy and relaxed and it was nice to see him again as we had both had health issues since the last time we shot in 2023 at Far Forest. So it was great to see one another again catch up and create some photography :)

Steve was very casual, I packed a suitcase of various fashion sets we discussed prior to the shoot and we shot through them in a casual manner.

Steve had some fun new equipment toys to use including the kaleidoscope lense and the gobo I think it's called. So it was great to experiment and be creative with the extra bits.

The shoot was lots of fun from start to finish, we shot alot and chatted and laughed throughout. I have shot with Steve a good handful of times now and definitely recommend him to other models.

I absolutely love working with Steve and I was so excited to hear he’d booked onto my recent studio day at @flashhappensstudios.

Steve is a wonderful addition to any group shoot. He’s such a laid back, helpful soul and it’s an absolute joy to work with him.

Our theme this time was Old Hollywood and Steve, as always, nailed it. The images I’ve seen are beautiful! With a few ‘funnies’ thrown in there for good measure, of course 😂

I recommend Steve to models and studios wholeheartedly and I can’t wait for my next opportunity to shoot with him.
