Unplanned Brothers Selfie.

I did NOT plan this image - it sort of 'Evolved'. :-)

My original intention was simply to photo the back of this old Elinchrom strobe I'd just bought, and email to my buddy Cameratrav.

I got caught up in the creative process, & decided I would also turn it on to show the pretty coloured lights. I then decided I might as well fire the flash & make 'Pop & Blur' style self-portrait with both flash & ambient light. When I saw that had it worked better than expected, I called my brother Chris to be in it, and that's how I ended up with this unplanned family portrait! 😀

I think the exposure was about 30 secs for tungsten light in the room with the flash firing on rear curtain sync at the end by radio trigger.
