Had a great e shoot with Team Black today. Very professional in all their interactions and worked really well with my mood board. Got great set of RAW images shortly after the shoot & I am delighted with their work. I look forward to. COVID free time when I might have a real shoot with Angel , a beautiful model. Due to the COVID situation I've not been able to get out shooting. So I when I saw one of Team Black's eShoots I thought I'd give it a go and practice my editing skills.

The communication was great and the turn around was very quick too. I'm not going to enjoy digging into Affinity Photo.

If you can't shoot and want some quality images to edit I'd recommend Team Black.

I had a great eshoot experience with Team Black after contacting Angel. They certainly delivered a very high standard of images and matched images taken well to that in the ideas mood board I'd provided them with.

I also had a 2hour Affinity photo editing lesson over zoom with John and his tuition was great, very informative and easy to follow along, lots learnt in the time we had.

Team Black and I organised a fantastic Eshoot this week during Lockdown 2.0.

Angel was a dream, friendly, bubbly and full of ideas. Communications were quick and she was super helpful. I really felt she went out of her way to understand what I was hoping to achieve, and what they could do to support this.

I could not have been happier with the results. Angel is a gorgeous model and oozes sex appeal with a subtly and confidence about her not often seen in such a young model. Her choice out outfits, poses and locations were spot on.

John's photography is fantastic with a great eye for a beautiful shot, composition and use of light, even with just natural light. I am really looking forward to editing them. Highly recommended.

I have just had an other eshoot with Team Black, this time the partnered up with Layla Jean for a girl/girl shoot.

As per previous eshoots their pre-shoot comns were excellent, after explaining the type of images I wanted they understood exactly what I was after.

The images were sent through to me on the day of the shoot and as usual were excellent and exactly what i wanted.

If you want to do an eshoot in these troubled times then i cannot recomend John, Angel and Team Black high enough

Their preshoot coms were clear and concise confirming they understood exactly the sort of images I was after. What a great partnership.

John & Angel ran a Hollywood Style lighting workshop from my studio and having worked at my studio before, I had no hesitation in them running the day.

Their pre shoot communication was first class, keeping me up-to date with everything that was happening and confirming who would be attending the Workshop day.

Their commitment and dedication in getting everything correct and ready for their students was second to none. They arrived the evening before to set up all the sets. 3 in all with all their own props and lighting equipment.

On the morning of the Hollywood Lighting workshop, they both arrived really early in the morning to ensure they were there to meet the students on their arrival.

Angel had gone through great lengths to ensure that everyone was informed on the various set ups and how it was all going to work, Angel had even printed off info cards of the sets , so the students had the info to take away at the end of the day.

Attention to detail was totally amazing, Angel even asked the students , what were their favourite biscuits and bought a pack each for them.

Johns technical skills are totally mind blowing, he brought endless lights and filters with him to ensure the students could understand the benefits of the various lights and what they could do.

His cool calm manner was so well absorbed by the students as they were all totally engaging with John. As his style of teaching was full of description and practical advice, without blowing the minds of the students with too much Tech talk.

When you book yourself on a Team Black event you will be totally satisfied on how they work together and the amount of knowledge you will have gained from them.

Without any hesitation I would highly recommend Team Black

I recently had to face the fact that I needed some lighting tuition, and there was only 1 choice really, that was Team Black. Pre comms were excellent as usual (Ive worked with both Angel and John before on various workshops, tours etc.). I booked 4 hours tuition using there home studio, and it absolutely flew by. I was met at the door by Angel, and had a coffee in had within seconds.

We discussed what I wanted out of the day, and then John allowed me to set up my lighting kit how I would normally set it up, and then we discussed what was good, and what wasnt so good. In the mean time Angel was exceptionally patient waiting for me to start shooting, once I got lights set up how I then wanted them. Once I started shooting Angel was on top form as usual, and wanted to ensure I got Images I was happy with.

Instantly I saw a huge improvement from what I was getting before, and I think the images I got demonstrate that. We discussed different light setups for different styles, poses and backgrounds etc, and I learnt a huge amount, and things I already knew were brought into context. No question was too stupid for either John or Angel, and they were happy to answer the same question more than once so it could sink in.

I was kept fed and watered thoughout the day, and both John and Angel couldnt have been better hosts.

As I was packing my kit up, Angel very kindly noted down all the questions and answers I had during the day, and sent them to me for reference. They also offered the opportunity to get back to either with questions following the day, which is above and beyond.

I cant recommend TeamBlack enough, 100%. I cant wait to put into practice what Ive learned.

I have, over the last couple of months been receiving editing tutorials from John, a session roughly 3 hours every few weeks using the Affinity software. Having worked with Angel quite a few times and wondering how I could bring my editing up a few gears, knowing how easy they are both to get along with and knowing Johns photography and editing to be be a great and successful standard it seemed common sense. We have had sessions both over FaceTime and in person, both formats very useful and he is always ready with help if you get stuck (or in my case just plain baffled)

Coms are always quick, well thought through and practical. The sessions are fun, engaging and useful, I've never been very good at sitting in lectures or reading through books so this was the perfect solution. The sessions are tailor made with a plan, goal or particular segment of the software we wanted to work out. Whilst I have had a little editing experience, I decided that working from scratch with new software would be particularly useful and it has been not just fun and enjoyable but also practical and effective.

John is not just absolutely passionate about his photography and the results he produces but his attention to detail and patience (in teaching as well as in the editing he produces from great shots he creates - the hours it takes to go from setting up a shot through back of camera to the final edit) is very much valued. The results I am seeing so far give me great joy in the improvement I am seeing, not just in my editing but the results, the standard of photo I am prepared to air and the attention to detail in the shot and the edit. We are still on our journey and I am very much looking forward to further sessions with John.

I have also had 7 shoots so far with Angel (in home studio, on location and in independent studio) she has been part of my photographic journey from a very early stage and her references speak for themselves but her contribution to my photographic journey has been very important to me. She has educated me in many ways from my approach to models and confidence in shooting with models to creative input and the help and support over the last few months and has had a huge and positive impact on my photography.

I cannot recommend Team Black highly enough, they are versatile and talented, approachable, practical and highly professional and I am looking very much to further work with them both.
