Had a great shoot with Dave today! The studio was very spacious and Dave had some great ideas! The whole shoot was very relaxed and I felt very comfortable at all times. I even got two cuppas!

Had a fantastic evening at Dave's studio, group session.

Greeted at the door, dave was a gentlemen from the start as he helped me in with my bags and a coffee on arrival.

The studio is lovely with new back drops and lightening. Plenty of room to do what you want and is also nice and warm.

Everyone at the group shoot was very welcoming and i look forward to going back in the new year 😀

Have been to the Club Albert and Victoria several times as a photographer since my first visit in June 2021. Attended on 15th November after a months absence owing to business commitments and illness, very pleasantly surprised by changes in this time - conservatory area, dining area and lobby all freshly painted and fitted with new carpets and window blinds, great 'fresh paint' smell about the place. Four new studio lights, new backdrop fixing assembly and new tensioned white backdrop to add the library of backdrops. Lobby area cleared of stored furniture items and very easy to use as shooting area with fresh walls and art deco style wall decorations. I have recently shot in the following areas: (1) the main conservatory area with main backdrop (2) the seating area in the conservatory with wicker style seating and tables giving a 'verandah' feel and/or 1930s feel (3) the conservatory lobby area with plain walls and art deco wall art (4) rear access driveway with mini street lights adjoining planted area (5) rear access ornamental wrought iron gates. Example images from several of my recent visits are located in an Album entitled 'Club Albert and Victoria' on my personal Purpleport portfolio, feel free to view. Very friendly atmosphere on club nights, with tea/coffee and biscuits available. Toilet located in the lobby area and ample parking on the hotel forecourt and on Marine Drive, free after 6pm. Vast improvement in facilities recently, with more exciting additions in the planning stage. Recommended.

Came in for Monday club and loved the whole shoot, everyone was such a laugh and made me feel right at home whilst also getting some great content from what I saw so far, can't wait to get it all back.

100% would attend the event again can't wait for next month. Really well thought out group shoot so that everyone got to work with me so it wasn't overwhelming at all.

I was lucky enough to be part of a fantastic group shoot last night at Club Albert & Victoria working with the amazing Lolabunnyxox. Dave is an amazing host, he and the regulars were so very helpful and patient with me, setting things up if I needed help plus the offer of Coffee or tea and sweets on demand if required. It’s a lovely friendly chilled environment to shoot in and you really feel at ease asking for assistance if you’re not sure about something. The club always offers a high calibre of models that are easy and fun to work with. The regulars are a great bunch, always willing to assist and help you be as creative as you want and they will do their best to help you achieve your aspirations. It was exciting chatting with Dave about the plans for how they are developing the studio / club further to be able to offer greater learning experiences and opportunities to create the unique. It’s a very well equipped location to work, with a great selection of new lighting and great new backdrops which were fantastic to work with during my shoot last night.

I will definitely be back and will be a regular, I highly recommended to all, especially to newer or lesser experienced photographers.

I was invited to be the model on a Wednesday club night. It was such a relaxed, chilled out shoot as always, nothing is too much trouble for the host, David. I can't wait to see the images from the club members and hopefully return to this lovely studio next year.

Today I was modelling again in this studio for a fashion&lingerie event. I had a lovely time, everyone was chilled out, chatty and professional. Dave arranged a transport for me to get to Southport and back home what was very helpful. I’m really glad I got booked for this fun group shoot.

First time meeting a photographer that explained their fascination of portrait photography to me, in a way which I personally could relate to.

Dave is a very VERY laid back photographer, searching for something that deems quite rare to capture in photos...connection.

He is the first photographer I have worked with that wasn't looking for "the picture"...but looking to capture the emotion & connection, IN a picture.

I definitely saw Dave as more of a soul searcher than a photographer, (although as you can see, his photography is absolutely gorgeous)

If you are looking to get into a calm & relaxed shoot, in a light open & airy space, then shooting with Dave at his studio fits the bill.

Another amazing shoot at this lovely studio in Southport, Dave is a great host and a great photographer,the studio has lots of props and beautiful lighting, all the photographers that attend the group shoot are all very pleasant to work with.
