I held my studio day here today as it's one of my favourite studios. Sara was lovely as usual and even made me hot water bottles for when I was shooting nudes in the cold corridors and basements. I'm back here shooting next week and I'm looking forward to it

Back again!

Always fun, always good results. I explored a few new nooks and crannies today, and my model (AliceInksomniac) and I took advantage of hte latest tweaks to the studio itself.

Well worth buying advance hours, as I have done, now, twice.

Today I had the very real pleasure of returning to SS Creative Photography in Birmingham. I can’t remember how many time I’ve shot there, but every time I find something different or another way of shooting.

It certainly is a studio with a difference, with a lot of amazing locations which offer the opportunity to achieve some truly unique pictures. The results we got are testament to this amazing facility.

So many thanks to Sara for this Aladdin’s Cave of a facility. I really enjoyed the experience and want to shoot with you again very soon.

A great studio with a wide ranging selection of varied, authentic, atmospheric backgrounds to choose from. Super helpful and very accommodating staff and ridiculously good vale hire rates. Splendid!

I'll certainly be using it again and highly recommend it to others.

Superb facilities! Basically you can shoot anywhere in this very inspirational building along with the superb shooting area inside the studio itself. Sara is very warm and inviting and provides a professional outlook when taking shots and is more than happy to accommodate any strange requests of which I've given!

Recommend this studio to any photographer. Well worth it!

Today I had the very real pleasure of working with Harley at SS Creative Photography in Birmingham. We hadn’t worked together before and neither of us had worked at SS Creative Photography before, so a bit of a baptism of fire.

I was introduced to ss creative today and wow just wow. This studio is so up my street. Not only does it have a studio in the true sense of the word but the building and potential is immense. So much scope, the lifts, staircases and corridors are brilliant. My only regret is that 4 hours wasn't nearly long enough!!!!

Here's hoping I get to come back soon, real soon!!!!!

Yesterday saw me working at SS Creative on Thomas Street in Aston, Birmingham for the first time - and what a positive experience it was for me and for all of the other models and photographers involved in the Film Noir shoot organised by Deb and Steve at Tip Top. Very convenient for the city centre, the Telsen building in which SS Creative has its home is a warren of light industrial and office spaces linked by suitably atmospheric corridors and dripping with 1930s' fixtures and fittings - the superb four-person caged lift is a star in its own right. The fresh and bright main studio is a sumptuous space in which to chill out, have a brew, discuss the previous scene and get changed for the next one. Thank you so much Sara for your hospitality as well as the use of your fantastic studio - very much appreciated!

Had the pleasure of hiring as creative studios for a couple of hours ,sadly a couple of hours just isn't enough time to explore this fantastic location , the main studio area has more than enough space to keep you going with areas props and possibilities,then you can venture out into the rest of the building with a vast array areas to shoot ,I can honestly say I'll be returning to spend a few more hours discovering the endless possibilities. first time shooting at ss creative. its great studio with various corridors, lifts and dark stairwells to also shoot in. I also got to work with Sara while i was there and as well as being a lovely lady she took some great shots aswell.

I've been working at SS Creative from time to time for a good few months - at last, I got to do some shooting with Sara alongside me (we've been talking about it for ages!)

She's a gentle, courteous lady, with a lively sense of humour, and a devotion to keeping the studio cleaner than its location in an industrial building suggests is possible.

Great to work with, and great to hire a studio from: what more ould you ask? (I haven't actually taken pictures of Sara - yet. But that sort of completes the set when I do!

Had a great shoot today at SS. This was my first shoot at the studio, and wow, it has so much to offer. We only scratched the surface of areas to shoot in, and there is so much more to work with. Sara was very accommodating and helpful too.

Communication was good prior to the shoot, this is a definite place everyone needs to experience.

Absolutely loved the studio from the moment I walked in. I'm not local to Birmingham so don't know what the average industrial building is like there, but his one was spectacular. From the main studio room, to the hallays, staircases and old school cage lifts, we had so much to choose from. I recommend booking in quite a few hours at once for this studio as the variety is amazing.

The main studio is very cool with lots of backdrops and settings, a brilliant model prep area, and all you need to sustain you through the day (tea/coffee/biscuits etc.) I'm really looking forward to going back and working with Sara in the future,

I had another great shoot at this studio last weekend.

There are so many different places to shoot within the building, from wide corridors with plenty of natural light, to completely dark spaces, throw in some stairs and a few lift cages and there are endless possibilities of backgrounds to your photos, all you need is a creative mind

An awesome studio with scope for many different styles of photography. The building is huge and even the stairs, corridoors and lift can be used as backgrounds. The space is well equipped with a perfect space for a mua to set up and have plenty of space to work in, this includes large mirrors and a large dressing table, there is plenty of daylight through the industrial style windows and Sara was very helpful while I was working by bringing in a light for my model to counteract any shadows, so I basically had a perfect working environment thank you!

Sara has really thought about this space and put a lot of work into it which has made it so well equipped and versatile, I would highly recommend this space.

Great shooting space, loads of props at the photographers disposal. Also separate shooting environment to give variety to your images. Recommended.
