Shyness in the Shadows

Had another wonderful shoot with Alan. This time around we stuck to one outfit and used no props. It was simple, yet very challenging. While we weren't able to exchange many themes beforehand as I was very ill for a while, we still came up with some great ideas during the shoot through lighting and expression. Alan is seriously the best photographer out there. He's an absolute gentlemen and a pleasure to work with. He's also been able to do what no other photographer has managed to achieve, and that's to increase my self confidence. I would greatly consider him my friend and I can't wait for the next time I get to work with him. Hopefully we'll be able to use the fantasy theme we've been talking about and create more great images! :) ♥

I was fortunate to have my first shoot with Alan this week at his well equipped home studio.. He is a great photographer to work with. I felt very relaxed and the shoot just flew by. Alan is great at giving direction whilst also giving me the freedom to add my own poses. I have already seen the unedited shots and they are fab. I would highly recommend Alan and am sure we will work together again. Thanks Alan for a very enjoyable and productive shoot. JJ

Alan invited me to his lovely home for a shoot back in August and I was made to feel very welcome as soon as I walked through the door. He has a dedicated studio in his garden for shooting in which is very cosy. He makes great use of the space with his backdrops and we worked through a variety of different outfits whilst being asked if I was comfortable at all times. We took regular breaks throughout and he was very chatty. I would highly recommend him and would work with him again.

Had my NINTH shoot with Alan today and it was a brilliant shoot with great ideas being exchanged back and forth. Alan and I are at the point in our work relationship where I consider him to be a good friend of mine - he is professional, polite, good at giving direction and best of all he fed me after the shoot! :P Cannot recommend him highly enough whether you are just starting out or a more long term model x

Had my first shoot with Alan yesterday at his home studio, Alan is absolutely fantastic to work with I was a little nervous but that soon went away. Alan was great with helping me with direction and would definitely like the opportunity to work with him again.

I had my first shoot with Alan at his home studio in his garage this week. His studio is incredible, it has everything you could ever want as a photographer and so many things to play with to get amazing photographs. Alan was professional, lovely and really creative and I had a fantastic time making some brilliant images. He has already sent me small jpegs of all of our shoot to choose some to edit and they look incredible already- even straight out of camera!

Alan is lovely and he knows what he's doing behind the lens, highly recommended and can't wait for shoot no.2!

Had my second shoot with Alan today and the time just flew.

Alan was, as always, professional, caring and creative. He has an idea of what he's looking for and knows how to draw that out of the model without feeling any pressure.

Just had a wonderful forth shoot with my good friend Springfield Photography (Alan Moss). Despite being more nervous at the begining as I've put on some weight and wobble since the last time we shot months ago, he reassured me and made me feel comfortable with my insecurities. We had such a lovely chat in between shoots, we got carried away with time! However, this doesn't bother me at all as I was more than happy to stay longer because we enjoyed ourselves. Having a lot of things I lately dislike about my body, I decided to be a little braver than just keeping to the usual style we shoot and requested a few art nude back shots in order to hopefully bring my confidence back up. We discussed this and shared our ideas. He made me feel 100% comfortable the whole time, providing me with a robe to cover up beforehand and even turned away when I set myself up. What a true gentleman and an absolute joy to work with, and I greatly look forward to our future shoots and seeing the results from this shoot! Sending love to Snoopy! ♥

Wow! What a fabulous shoot I had with Alan today!

Pre-comms excellent! And the style of how he works, what he shoots were amazing! I was lacking shapes and shadows in my portfolio and so focused on this. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and felt completely at ease around his presence!

Cannot recommend him enough to anybody to his thinking of working with him. I cannot wait to see the images- our rapport shows in the pictures!

There were 4 photographers in total which most would think is tedious to do the same things 4 times but thanks to everyone being so lovely the shoot flew by!!

A long over due reference for this gentleman cannot believe it's been over a year since we last shot so much going on in our lives,but the time was bound to come Alan is more than a photographer he is a friend to me,always enthusiastic about my work and such a lovely man,Alan picked me up from my local train station and we headed to his home,we talked,shot talked and talked some more,Alan is very professional in his photography he knows what he is looking for and directs if needed,

We have already booked our next shoot and I can't wait I recommend this gentleman 100%

My third shoot with Alan and the ideas and fun were really flowing! He's so up for anything and that's awesome because it makes you totally relaxed! We always end the shoot on more ideas for the next shoot so that's always a plus and gives you something to look forward to! His work ethic is amazing and always adds his personal touch! Today I had my third shoot with the incredibly talented Springfield Photography. Even though we had a smaller amount of time as he needed to teach at the camera club afterwards, we managed to think of some lovely ideas and created some mind-blowing photography. Alan is always a pleasure to work with and makes me feel comfortable during shoots. Since the first time we worked together, my confidence has increased greatly and I thank Alan for helping me come out of my shell. Words can not express how much I'd recommend him to anyone, along with seeing his adorable cat Snoopy. Cannot wait to see the results, and once again I look forward to working with him again in the future! x

I love working with him, he is one of the most consistently reliable and professional photographers out there, who respects the model and makes them feel at complete ease! Just had an absolutely amazing shoot with Springfield Photography! My nerves were still playing up, even more so as I've been less confident with my weight lately. However, having my supportive boyfriend with me certainly helped to calm me down and Alan talked to me all the way through to help me relax, along with sharing and suggesting some incredible ideas! We managed to create some great images and have fun the whole time. I also want to thank Alan for making me feel welcome by making me a few cups of tea between shoots and some AMAZING risotto before we left. A great time overall and I would recommend him to everyone!

I had my second shoot with Alan today (and as always, I love seeing his cat Snoopy) and I cannot wait for the third - we already bounced ideas back and forth! We both do this because we love it which is refreshing! He has lots of effects at his disposal so the photos always turn out great! Had my 4th shoot with Alan today and it was our best yet! :) he very kindly organised a make up artist to come in for me so I could have a portrait shoot and the results I've seen so far are amazing!
