I've been wanting to use spitfire studios for a while and just hadn't got round to using the studio. I was not disappointed with the studio at all.

The studio has good lighting, backdrops and props.

Loads of space and a great method for booking the studio.

Henry is a great help as well if you need it.

Strongly recommend you use the studio.

I have attended Spitfire Studio on numerous occasions over the past few months on a variety of workshops and have always been made to feel very welcome by both the owner Henry and his partner and model, Aerlise.

The facilities are great with two rooms for modelling and photography. A main studio with a variety of backdrops and a bedroom/boudoir set for use or for models to use as a changing room.

The studio is well equipped, both with kit and props. It is well looked after and maintained and a clean, friendly space to work in.

The studio has ample parking, wheelchair access, toilets just a few meters from the studio as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

I would recommend the studio to any photographer or model. I would also recommend the workshops. With a maximum of 4 people per workshop, tuition always feels like it's on a one to one basis with both Henry and Aerlise offering advice and tips for you to achieve the best shots from your camera.

I look forward to visiting the studio for more shoots in the near future.

Henry made our group shoot very welcome. He is hard working, patient and full of creative ideas. One bonus is that Henry is a natural teacher - he gave excellent advice throughout the day.

If anyone get chance or thinking about going its an easy decision yep you have to go

Why can’t everything in life be this good? I’ve just returned from a shoot with Cute Girl at Spitfire Studio. This is the first time that I’ve worked with her and at Spitfire Studio and I do hope it won’t be the last. Arranging the shoot was simplicity itself being able to book and pay for the rental online. The main studio is spacious and very well equipped. There is also a boudoir set in a separate room which is equally well appointed.

The shoot went like a dream with all the assistance I needed. Thank you very much Henry, I look forward to the next time and can’t recommend this terrific facility enough.

I had a superb evening with Henry and his partner Arelise the model. Henry showed me his ideas on model lighting. It was fun and relaxing. He also had a friendly and clever Dachshund called Snoot. I highly recommend this studio to anyone wanted a fun couple of hours. Looking forward to again using this studio

I had a most informative and very enjoyable 4 hour 1-2-1 studio lighting workshop with Henry and Aerlise. Henry is a very experienced Studio photographer who led me through various lighting set-ups with clear explanations both of the practicalities of lighting and the the reasons why it works as it does. The workshop was supported with access to written notes which help to allow you to retain as much information as possible. The studio seems very well equipped with a large selection of lighting and accessories, backgrounds and with a variety of studio aids. Aerlise is very used to such workshops and works particularly well with Henry to make a smooth flowing workshop and a most attractive subject. The workshop has certainly whetted my appetite for more studio time, and I am keen to try my hand in Spitfire with Aerlise on my own as soon as I am able.

I would certainly wholeheartedly recommend Henry and Spitfire for anyone thinking of doing a similar 1-2-1 workshop, you will come away having learned a lot, enjoyed the experience and taken some great images.

Spitfire strikes me as a really useful Studio for hire, and to the best of my current experience I would recommend it as a facility. The also run a lot of workshops which sound imaginative and fun. Unfortunately for me Spitfire is a fair distance from me and the travel time will naturally limit my visits.

I had a great Glamour workshop with Henry and Aerlise at the studio. We went through some useful lighting scenarios, using different modifiers. It was well paced and allowed us to see the results of various lighting setups.

Shooting for the first time with a model in this genre was made easy. Aerlise poses so well, and (as my port shows) has a great look.

I would recommend the studio as a space, and certainly the workshops, they are very reasonable price wise and extremely useful. I will use the studio space when the need arises, and I am looking to join more workshops as they come up.

Had an awesome shoot at Spitfire, so many props and lights galore. The bedroom area was wonderful and useful for a changing space. I can't recommend this studio enough - the photos turned out beautiful! Would definitely like to come and shoot there again.

First visit and hopefully not my last, Henry and Aerlise worked very hard in ensuring a successful shoot, all aspects were impressive, liked the very clean environment, and wide range of equipment and props, happy to recommend.

I booked spitfire twice in one week, once with the house model Aerlise and another for a test shoot with Alchemist. The studio was clean and tidy. If you are looking for a studio around the Swindon area and close to the M4 then this is the place.

A great studio, I use Spitfire regularly so thought I should leave another reference! Plenty of space, I love that there are two rooms joined together in the middle and there are just so many bits and pieces to shoot with! Lots of chairs, backgrounds, fabrics, clothes, lovely Flo the mannequin - all sorts! Henry is friendly and helpful and I always feel relaxed and at home shooting here, highly recommended.

I've shot at Spitfire countless times, and as a model I have to say I love it there, and have been shooting there regularly for the past two years, and attending most of the monthly open evenings - it looks a lot bigger when there's only a few people in there compared to on an open evening, but there's definitely plenty of room.

I love how open plan it is, too, and there's always a decent amount of props and costumes if you haven't brought enough stuff, and theres lots of fabrics and chairs, there are toilets really close to the studio rooms, and it's mostly quiet in the building (when I shoot, anyway).

There's always water on hand in, and sometimes snacks and drinks in the fridge if you get hungry during a shoot, and there's a music system so you can listen to music while you shoot (no awkward silences).

If you want a good local studio, definitely book Spitfire. I've never had any complaints about it. I'd like to say thank you to Henry for letting us use the studio, dunno where I'd be without it.

Recently attended the advanced lighting tutorial at Spitfire Studio and felt very welcomed. Henry certainly knows his stuff! Excellently well equipped with every conceivable prop and all the equipment needed. Great space and very relaxed atmosphere. Will be booking for further courses and hiring the studio in future and highly recommended.

Spent this last weekend shooting in Spitfire and had a terrific time. Great facilities and lots of props! What more could you ask for. Looking forward to shooting here again.

This is an excellent studio with a wide range of lighting equipment, light modifiers, backgrounds and props. Henry Wills, the owner, is expert on lighting and taught me a great deal. Henry is also very welcoming and hospitable. The studio is fully wheelchair friendly.

I had a very interesting and informative tutorial session at Spitfire studios. Henry is generous with his time to a fault - I think we actually overran in time a while! Henry's philosophy of make the student do it was a real refreshing attitude (previously I've had a lot of work done for me which left me without the confidence I now have). Heartily recommend to new photographers especially - can't think of a better start!

This was the first studio day I have organised at Spitfire Studio and was with the wonderful Darkmoon. The day went very well with happy photographers and model and most importantly some wonderful images were created.

Spitfire is very well equipped studio and its very warm, very important for a nude shoot this time of year!

I also had a short shot with Darkmoon, burlesque style with a smoke machine and colored gels, great fun as the studio has an extractor that moves the smoke very well.

I can highly recommencement Spitfire Studio, great space and props, I always enjoy shooting in this studio :-)
