Had my second shoot at Spitfire Studio today.

The studio was very clean and tidy and every thing needed was easy to find.Every thing worked it was a joy to work in such surroundings.

The new access door to second room makes life so much easier.

I worked at this studio for the first time last week. Its a great studio, plenty of space and a very good range of equipment. The studio owners are very helpful, but they also stayed out of my way, which I really appreciated. They helped hugely on the last set, which involved flour being thrown around and I could not have gotten the shots I did without their help. They even helped clear up ( actually they did way more than me in that regard!). I would definitely shoot there again and would recommend this studio to any photographer.

Very enjoyable workshop with Henry and Aerlise. Both were instructive, helpful, considerate and very knowledgable. Fantastic studio space that I will definitely use for personal shoots in the future. Aerlise is a beautiful sassy model who I must book soon.

Henry very kindly lent me his studio (Spitfire Studios) free of charge for a recent Charity Event I had organised, raising money for a much loved Cat charity I used to Volunteer at on an early Sunday morning! I worked with Henry and model Aerlise on the last two hours of the day in the main studio and had such a great time! Henry is a great photographer, fantastic with lighting and professional to work with.

Henry was so kind to give the studio for the day, was always on hand to help and very organised. We managed to raise £500 for the cat charity, which I was over the moon with! The photographers really enjoyed their time at the studio and were helped with lighting when they needed it (and plenty of refreshments!) Having the two rooms at the studio is great also as you can alternate between studio and boudoir very easily, with lots of different sets available. The facilities are also great, Thanks so so much for all of your help on the day, really appreciated and highly recommended, Helen x

An Eye for Beauty

It is some while since I have been to the studio, and realising the facilities had increased significantly, I arranged to call in when passing on the M4. I am very impressed with the extra space and opportunities and look forward to a return visit. While there I managed to have a short shoot with Aerlise as she was present, and learned some good techniques in the process.

I worked with Henry on a shoot and the studio was absolutely brilliant he took time to walk through the rig and explain nuances. The studio space he has is brilliant and there, are so many options you are only limited by your imagination. He has an extensive collection of props and lights and he works with you to support you if you require. The location is easy to find and very good value.

He has regular open evenings for a coffee and a chat (as well as shooting if you want) and depending on my schedule I will definitely be going along.

The only hesitation I have in recommending Spitfire Studio is it becomes so popular I can’t the booking slots I want!

I have used the studio twice now, and also book a hour tutorial on basic studio set up with Henry.

Although self service Henry new I was new to Studio work and was around for my booking to make sure I was good to go.

Nice sized rooms, loads of furniture.

Attended the monthly 'open evening' to get a feel for equipment and layout. Whilst there I got talking to both Henry (studio owner) and Aerlise (model). I explained my interest to extend my port and they both duly agreed to work with me. We agreed the shoot date for the following week and with henry offering assistance the whole shoot was a success, well that is from my PoV. Would therefore have no hesitation in recommending to others this route. The studio is well laid out, fully equipped and the creative potential limitless....looking to shoot there again. Need I say more. :)

I have been using Spitfire Studio for a couple of years now and during that time the studio has seen a number of changes. With two well laid out studios now and lots of equipment backdrops, clothes and props it is hard to imagine anything more you could need. Henry the owner is available to assist new photographers with lighting will leave you to it if you don't need assistance. He also runs introduction sessions for those new to studio work. With a new resident model as well I strongly recommend Spitfire Studio. I have tried a number of other studios in Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Bristol but keep going back to Spitfire. Give it a try (but not too often otherwise I might not be able to book a slot when I want one ;-)

Had my first shoot at Spitfire Studio (working with Aerlise who stood in a the last minute following a cancellation).

I would like to congratulate Henry on setting up a very well-equipped and useful studio complex. Lots of flash equipment, backdrops and props are available to satisfy all tastes. It has two separate rooms and is located in a well serviced office complex ample car parking near the Honda factory in Swindon.

Henry was on hand to help with and advise on lighting set ups.

It is a super studio which I intend to make great use of and is very highly recommended. Henry also organises regular workshops and social events at the location.

Had my first shoot today at Spitfire Studio with the delightful Victoria Summers.

The studio is so well equiped, with two separate shooting area, it is one of the best I have every had the pleasure of using. Heny Willis, himself a tremendous photographer, knows his stuff. He was very welcoming and gave every assistance and guidance that one could ask for.

Plenty of parking space and easy access I thoroughly recommend Spitifre to anyone who has not visited before. So, get down to Honda land, you will not be sorry and I am sure you will get some fantastic images.

Used the studio today for my first 1-2-1 model shoot. Henry, the owner, is hugely supportive and has created a great venue - loads of space and all the gear and props you could ever need, and great coffee too! This place is definitely worth a look and I'll be booking again soon.

After far too long I recently managed to get back in to shoot at Spitfire Studios. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. A vast amount of space together with a great selection of lighting, backdrops and props. If you look hard there are biscuits too :-)

With everything to hand, the shoot flowed so smoothly I wish getting back here hadn't taken me so long. It has definitely become my studio of choice.

I had another shoot here and this studio has now become my "go to" studio without any question.

A wealth of lights, modifiers, space, props and accessories make every shoot here something to look forward to and I cannot find any fault with anything that is available in this studio.

I have already booked two future shoots here and now that there is also a dedicated make-up and stylist team available it further enhances my own creativity levels.

I had my first proper shoot at Spitfire Studio on Friday evening following a visit earlier in the month to an open evening held at the studio.

Access arrangements to the studio are excellent and there is copious free parking on site. Henry, the studio owner, was on site as a courtesy as it was my first time using the studio on my own and made sure I had everything I needed before leaving.

The studio itself is excellent, there is plenty of space to work in the main studio area with a second studio room which, as well as being suitable to shoot in, models can also use as a makeup / dressing room.

All the equipment is in great condition and very easy to setup and use. There were ample power sockets which meant we had a good clear area to work in even though we were sometimes using up to four lights. They studio has a great selection of paper backgrounds on a very convenient roller system as well as various curtains and fabric backgrounds on rails. All in all very easy and quick to setup.

The studio has a plethora of furniture available to be used as props or for posing the models with which is a great bonus. There are copious outfits at the studio clearly set out in wardrobes and hanging rails in the secondary studio room.

Tea and coffee facilities as well as a water cooler were available as well. The building also has a communal small kitchenette area and disabled accessible bathroom.

Overall my first proper shooting experience at Spitfire Studio reinforced the impression I got from the open evening. This is a really excellent space to work in and has everything you could need and is set out in a sensible and easy to use way. The prices charged also offer exceptional value for money!

I would therefore highly recommend Spitfire studio to anyone wishing to use a studio environment in the Swindon area.

Had my first studio day at Spitfire and loved it! Plenty of props and backdrops to choose from and a beautiful boudoir set in the next room. Had oodles of fun working with new people in the studio. Highly recommended!

I had my first shoot over at Spitfire this week and absolutely loved it! There is plenty of space and loads of stuff to shoot with (lights, modifiers, backgrounds, props, furniture, clothes...) across both rooms. It was a real pleasure to be there - it is a much more relaxing environment than most studios and I felt right at home. Henry had given me some great advice on setting up the lights to get me started so I was able to hit the ground running and then experiment to my hearts content.

I can't wait to shoot there again now!
