I have shot at Sowton Studio on several occasions and it's always an excellent experience. Very well equipped with a range of options from roller backdrops to sets (bedroom etc) and a beautiful garden.

Mr Dave is a great host and always on hand to assist.

Highly recommended and I hope to work there again soon!

I have worked at sowton studio many times over the years - Both as a model and as a designer. I recently had the privilege to style the boudoir set.

Dave is so accommodating, nothing is ever too much work and there's always a hot drink on offer!

The studio is equipped with absolutely all the equipment you would need and the garden space is beautiful and private with a charming summer house set in the corner.

I’ve been to Sowton Studio a handful of times now and it’s always been lovely! Dave is superb, he has a friendly attitude and great presence. I have always felt comfortable here, which is great as I’m a new model who is building some confidence. I feel I’ve learned some valuable wisdoms from Dave in the times I’ve visited!

Of course, I can’t leave a reference and not mention the very beautiful and friendly Roxy. She is a real gentle sweetheart who loves a bit of fuss!

I have made use of Sowton studio many times now for various shoots. I find it a great space with many backdrops, lights and various props. There are plenty of options of spaces to shoot including a well kept garden.

The studio is set ins quiet village just on the outskirts of Exeter with plenty of parking.

Sowton Studio is a wonderful place! I love working there; it's a delightful haven with a charming garden and a beautiful summer house. The smoke and snow machines add a magical touch, enhancing the ambiance for creating stunning photos. Dave, the host, is incredibly warm and welcoming, always ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Plus, the presence of Roxy, the adorable lab, adds an extra layer of joy to this already special space. It's truly a photographer's paradise!

Dave's studio is simply wonderful. I have had the pleasure of working here many times, and every time I feel welcome and comfortable. Dave's equipment is great, offering the ability to shoot from full length studio shots through to portraiture. There is also a wonderful boudoir set which offers gorgeous natural light flowing in from the double doors. The changing room is clean and comfortable and a dressing gown and slippers are also provided.

Dave also has an abundance of chocolate bars on hand as well which is always yummy! Dave is polite and professional with such a friendly demeanour you can't help but feel you've known each other for years! It's always exciting to visit the studio and see what's changed from my last visit as there are always set adjustments going on so to keep things fresh.

The Studio, and Dave, have my highest recommendation. I've been fed, watered and kept warm on all of my visits and having dog cuddles with Roxy the Lab is a bonus!

I was so lucky to get the chance to shoot at Dave's studio. He has lots of equipment and outfits to use. He is so easy to get along with. He hosts very well and made me feel welcome, and provided accommodation that really helped. I look forward to going back there and shooting with him. I recommend him to other models.
