When I moved to South Wales, I looked at the portfolios of local models and Sophrosyne's was one that stood out and I'm very pleased to say that I finally got to work with her :-)

She has a beautiful look, poses effortlessly and is a real pleasure to work with. Clearly very creative and loves what she does. Pre-shoot communication was excellent and she was very friendly and welcoming from the word go.

Her collection of animals are as beautiful as she is, in their own way and that includes the lovely Nala :-)

Sophrosyne gets a big thumbs up (Y) from me and is highly recommended.

I've had the pleasure of worked with Sophrosyne several times. She is a lovely lady, with a huge wardrobe, loads of ideas, and very versatile - her long hair lends itself to styling to suit the theme.

Working with her is a true collaboration, and together we've made some images that we both love.... what more could a tog ask for.... well, snakes, reptiles, frogs or spiders :) She is mother to a large collection of her "babies" that are both model and camera friendly.

Totally recommended.

I had the great pleasure of working with Sophrosyne yesterday.

We had discussed shooting with her amazing array of rescued exotics and they didn't disappoint.

Pre-shoot comms were excellent and when I arrived she was ready to shoot. She even had her MUA friend Charlotte (ScarlotteMUA) assisting her with styling and makeup.

Sophrosyne was very friendly and easy going.

This beautiful model needs no direction and is an expert animal wrangler.

We got some great images and managed a couple of different styles.

It was a total pleasure to work with this lady and hope we will work together again in the near future. A 100% recommendation doesn't seem like enough.

Well they say the best things are always worth waiting for and this was certainly the case with Sophrosyne. I had been a long time admirer of her look and the works she has produced, so it was a delight to be able to work with her and the animals yesterday.

Communications were great from the off, when it came to concepts it was a case of 'we will do some stuff and think things up when we meet' and thats what happened. We had a really laid back day, for me it was a case of meeting and getting used to the 'gang', so that I would be able to se how they move in order to get the best shots.

Sophrosyne, had a range of lovely gowns and outfits to chose from and the most sensational designer jewellery for her hands. ScarlotteMUA was on hand to do makeup, so making for a fabulous shoot.

Every movement was a pose, add in the reptiles or Nala the Husky cross and we just rolled with the beautiful shapes and intensity that was created between them. If I wasn't shooting it would have still been amazing just to be there to observe. Sophrosyne is a great model, has a beautiful look and is just a delight to be with. We have already discussed other concepts that we can work on soon, in the mean time she is of course highly recommended.

I and a local model, Keith, shot with Sophrosyne recently. And, what a day.... I'm still grinning a couple of weeks later - the images are epic (including Fluffy the Tarantula as an eyepatch or Keith with the black scorpion on his face!). Can't wait to work with her and her assortment of gorgeous animals again.... if it weren't mathematically impossible I'd recommend 200%.... :)

On Monday I had the privilege of working with the superbly talented Sophrosyne again but on this occasion the shoot had two themes, initially contemporary bridal and secondly, it would be impossible to work with Ellie at her home without combining some amazing images of her and a number of her Reptile Room family.

The contemporary element was enhanced by Sophrosyne's amazing bone structure and the excellent make up and hair stylist work of Sara, Being able to capture their pre-work together provided a third and additional light hearted element to the shoot. As always,the shoot was a great balance of professionalism and fun,

Ellie is the consummate professional with the ability to be totally focused on the images required yet relaxed, fun and always able to bring fresh ideas to our work together. Her relationship with her reptiles allows for some amazing images to be achieved. She has the ability to put you totally at ease, is always supportive and is one of my favourite models to work with. We have already started to discuss how we can turn our future ideas into more brilliant images together and quite honestly I can't wait to start!!

She is brilliant to work with, no hesitation in recommending her.

We worked with Sophrosyne for the first time last Saturday and she was beautifully open-minded, even soaking in blood above a bath with devilish creature inside did not phase her off. A lovely person, a beautiful model, and a great creative, all in one. Very strongly recommended and looking forward to our next shoot together.

I was first compelled to contact Sophrosyne because of the connection with her reptiles, however once in conversation with her and then having met her, one suddenly realised that she is the actual star and her 'family' of reptiles are the supporting cast, if and when required. Irrespective of the extra dimension the reptile option brings, Sophrosyne is an attractive, talented, enigmatic and experienced model in her own right, providing the photographer with a multitude of options.

I recently worked with Sophrosyne, together with some of her reptiles, in a dual indoor and location shoot. She was happy to discuss the options for hairstyle, make up, clothing, poses, etc.within her stated limits and on the day provided a variety of different outfits if required. Throughout the shoot she was able to combine the attributes of a very experienced, professional model with the important ability to have fun around the shoot. Her interpretation of what was required from an image was matched and balanced by her ability to suggest alternative poses which added to the overall success of the images achieved on the day.

In the woodland location, Sophrosyne had no hesitation in climbing through the undergrowth or walking across streams, etc. but be aware if getting the right shot dictates that you need to get mucky or wet also, she will expect the same commitment :).

Sophrosyne is passionate about her modelling work and demonstrated that passion throughout the shoot, she is an amazing person to work with and I would highly recommend her to any photographer who has a similar passion to achieve great images.

We have already begun planning future work together and I am looking forward to continuing our partnership across a wide range of interesting genres.

I was extremely looking forward to working with this lady as soon as she accepted a shoot with me, for weeks I stewed over what to do cause the work on her port was so incredible, I did not think I was honestly good enough for her epic portfolio. I visited Wales a few weeks prior to find that the car park of Castell Coch was ready and available to shoot in and I was happy that I had my amazing backdrop for such an amazing model.

I picked 'Sophrosyne' up, as it was on the way and we instantly got on like a house on fire, which was great cause I was a bit nervous about the whole shoot. We arrived at the location and I kind of asked whether she would be happy to climb in amongst the fallen storm branches, and off she went.

We managed to get some brilliant ideas together and then it was off home to try my Photoshop skills, to try and get a decent standard of image for her.

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire session and would definitely put her in my top 3 of models to work with. I so hope we an do lots more together in the future, as I love her style and ideas.

I would absolutely recommend her to other photographers.

I have had the pleasure of working with Sophrosyne on multiple occasions, and what a model!

What makes her stand out for me, is just how versatile she is, and not only this, Sophrosyne has to be one of the most creative people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Apart from her outstanding beauty, Sophrosyne is also so sweet and friendly, and makes a shoot so much fun, I know I cant wait to have her in front of my camera again!

Synergy Photoworks

I worked with Ellie and her snakes for the first time recently and hope to have the privilege of doing so again in the near future. Ellie has a lovely quiet easy going personality, is passionate about her work and totally at ease with all kinds of animals including snakes, spiders, tarantulas, frogs and scorpions to name a few. Ellie is also very photogenic, artistic, creative and has a great sense of style as well as near perfect skin. We achieved some outstanding images with seemingly little effort and minimal post-processing. I was left with the feeling that we've only just scratched the surface of what we can achieve.

This is the 5th time this year I have worked with Ellie as both model and stylist. Each time we get a different look and she is fast becoming a favourite to work with.

She also has a large number of creepy crawlies she can bring along as props. So far I have only worked with snakes, but there are plans for spiders or scorpions in the new year. Can't wait.

Definitely recommended. She has a great look, lots of hair and a huge personality. Working with her is a joy and I am always pleased with the results.

I had a great first shoot with Sophrosyne today, experimenting with some new techniques. She was very patient while I messed about trying new ideas, and although it was near dark, we still got some great shots. Can't wait to shoot together again.

Oh, and I met all the snakes, and they were charming. :)
