References for Skylark Studio

I used the brand new Skylark Studio in Bromsgrove this week, its fab!

James the owner is great - very professional, friendly and helpful.

The studio itself has plenty of places to shoot in, James has worked wonders creating the variety of set ups there. I particularly enjoyed shooting in the amazing bathroom!

Fab studio, great owner, great location. Thanks for the opportunity to shoot there, James - I'll be sure to book in again :-)

I regarded the studio as a photographic venue: place where photos could be taken.

Than photographic studio, it had a specific area within equipped as, did not use.

As such it had various possibilities in regard photo work that could be done there.

We, Wendy Jayne and I photographically used various rooms, stairs in the venue.

I mostly use 'natural/ambient' light than 'flash' when doing indoor 'photo glam'?

Was enough light in the rooms, landing, stairs to work with, paint scheme helped.

The owner briefed me on what rooms were available, what were not, which was useful.

He was in the house, could help if required, advice etc.

Note, if not 'local' establish its location, directions to, from etc.

Awesome place to shoot.

Booked at really short notice but James was so accommodating and everything was perfect on arrival. James couldn't be more helpful and went out of his way to make sure everything was how we wanted it.

As you can see from his portfolio there are so many places to shoot and can get some amazing and interesting shots and angles given the run of the house.

Would most definitely recommend Skylark Studio if you want somewhere cool to shoot.

He was very attentive and made me feel very welcome.

The conversation was great while we were shooting. He was very professional and made me feel at ease and relaxed while shooting.

A great studio space with many different rooms available to use to achieve many versatile looks.

I came to skylark studios yesterday for a shoot with the owner himself, James. His pre comms were superb he was on time extremely welcoming and we had a great shoot. He has a great sense of humour and is brilliant to talk to. The conversations were flowing.

Lovely studio awesome owner. Thanks so much I hope to work with both again soon.

I attended a shoot at Skylar Studios this week and was very impressed with the range of locations on offer to shoot in.

The studio is very spacious with a lot of opportunities to shoot some lovely, natural light images.

James, the person who owns it, is very helpful and creates a relaxed and friendly working environment.

I attended skylark Studio last Thursday to fill in for another model event.

The studio home owner, James is a lovely host! He came and picked me up from Wolverhampton and to me to and from the Studio. I was there all day until 10pm and the whole time he was attentive, polite and really easy to get along with. He kindly brought lunch and made a really nice cuppa tea!

His Studio home space is great, with three floors of the house and its many versatile rooms, there is plenty of choice! I especially like the garden area.

James paid my full rate of pay even though the model who didn't show had lower rates. He would rather of not let the Photographers down then cancel last minute. True professionalism!

There is so much potential for this home studio that I think in time each room will have a different look and will have more equipment available to use.

Definitely recommend! Cant wait to come back. :)

Feel really comfortable and we had such a laugh! James home studio is great with so many different rooms to shoot in and he had a great selection of outfits for use to :) If you want a fun day with great photos and a laugh I would recommend James ☺️

James is a great guy who is also very helpful and his home studio is a spectacular place to shoot with so much variety on offer. The studio is very spacious and has great natural lighting and if light is an issue he has an array on equipment on hand to help resolve any issues.

I highly recommend shooting here and I cannot wait until I book in again myself.

James very helpful, sorting a hiccup in my booking and supporting the shoot on the day. Thank you to Charlie Barr for stepping in. We had a great afternoon. The studio offers the rooms of a house so a great deal of choice of setting which I enjoyed.

Skylark studio is a great place with loads of different set ups, tons of props and well equipped. Studio owner James is very welcoming and keeps the place very warm for model's and photographer's comfort. Very likely to return there again.
