I had my first shoot at Skylark Studio with James. He is very professional and know his work very well. We had good conversation before the shoot. He is very helpful and kind too and offered me to drop back to the train station. I would 100% recommend him.

Had my first group shoot here at Skylark Studio, and very happy I finally got the opportunity to shoot here.

James is very friendly and professional. Pre shoot communication was thorough and prompt. The studio was clean, well equipped and had lots of different props, backdrops and cool areas to shoot in. Really enjoyed shooting here.

Highly recommended and hopefully I get the chance to shoot here again soon!

Had a very quick 2hrs shoot at skylark recently, the studio is small but well equipped with many areas to work.

James was very welcoming and made sure everything was in place for waht we wanted on the day.

I recommend skylark to any photographers in the area, and hope to be back soon.

He was also kind enough to pick me up and drop me off at the nearest train station which was very helpful. We worked well together and had fun on the shoot as well. I visited the studio for the first time to shoot with Melanie Bond for a couple of hours. The studio is compact but contains a great variety of textures, props and lighting equipment. James made me feel very welcome and Mel and I had a productive and enjoyable couple of hours shooting and catching-up since our previous shoot together in September. Recommended.

It was my first shoot at the studio which was recommended by Melanie Bond and when I arrived I was made very welcomed by James. He gave me a tour and explained what he had and what was available to use.

The studio is well equipped with lighting and a variety of rooms with book shelves, bathroom and a brick wall.

I enjoyed my time and I recommend the stupio.

I've had 3 days at Skylark studio now over the last few months. 2 of them with back to back shoots. James has always been welcoming, hospitable and been very helpful where photographers or myself have needed assistance. James has created various different sets in his studio and made the most of the space. There are loads of props to shoot with as well - I've had 5 shoots there now and all of them have been completely different :)

I've been enjoying my time at Skylark studio and will be planning to return this year throughout the year as its ideal only 50 mins from me. The studio is also very easy to find with clear signage out the front which is also a bonus.

Thanks for having me James - I've had some great shoots at Skylark and I will be back :) x

I was lucky enough to get to use Skylark studio today, the studio owner was my photographer for the shoot. The place fantastic and in a good location and easy to find. Drinks offered, made welcome at all times. Its Kept tidy, is really clean throughout. I highly recommend this studio to models and photographers.

I attended a Christmas themed group shoot yesterday at Skylark studio which proved to be a most enjoyable experience. The owner, James, had gone to great lengths to produce a festive ambience with Xmas trees and various decorations in place. Despite having to deal with a number of problems including late cancellations James was able to ensure that everyone who took part, both models and photographers, had a fun time. Highly recommended!🎅🎅🎅

I was back at Skylark Studio recently for a group shoot and had a great time! James went to so much effort to organise the day and planned it well so that all photographers got plenty of time working with each model in different sets and outfits

The studio is versatile, as well as having it's own stand out sets such as the HUGE bathtub!

This was my first visit to Skylark Studio, and I had a satisfactory shoot. I only used the Library Room on this occasion, but I can definitely see the potential for a Bathroom themed shoot in the huge bathroom here!

James the owner was very accommodating, and made sure we settled in, and had everything we needed before he left us to it.

I shot for 4 hours at Skylark and it was a good experience. James is a top lad who was very helpful. I particularly liked the shower set and the brick effect wall that had a good texture and was made out of a shallow brick or ceramic type material which was very clever. It was nice to see a proper book case stocked full of books that I would have been happy to read, If I had not overrun with the shoot :)

My first photo session at Skylark Studio, Bromsgrove, went better than expected.

In regard images produced, number, how well it went: photographer, model liked it.

On arrival, saw, met the studio owner, showed us a few rooms, made coffee.

Tara Bull and I worked in Library Corner, Feature Bathroom, Natural Light Room.

Knew there were others by way of the floor plan but went with these, they'worked'

Using the furnishings of each area, items found there, if some put to other uses.

In relation to the camera settings used, Colour, B &W and Partial Colour: Red.

From experience I know, if a studio photo session, is 'flowing' its good, it was.

May be back later in the year, with another model, now I know where it is.

I shot with James for the second time recently, this time at a bluebell wood near the studio.

We shot together with MacyG for an 'unconventional woods outfit' portion of the shoot, which went off without a hitch despite the difficulty with heels in the woods!

We then worked 1-1 for 2 more outfits, shooting amoung the beautiful bluebells and trees etc. We were so lucky with the weather and it was a really lovely shoot.

James is so laid back and easy to work with and chat to throughout a shoot, he's so friendly and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend him. :)

I had a shoot with James in the bluebell woods yesterday. He gave me clear instructions of how to get there and told me the three looks we were going for so i could come prepared.

Once we began shooting, he let me take the lead but also gave me instruction when needed.

He was very chatty and made me feel at ease throughout the 3 hours.

Just had a look at the photos and don’t know how i’m going to pick! Love them all.

I got to work at Skylark studios the Friday just gone and was greeted with a smile by the studio owner and a offer of tea/coffee - and thats always a good indication how how the rest of the time spent at the studio would be.

The space was a perfect temperature and James would ask if i was comfortable/warm enough throughout my time there.

There was a dressing area with a mirror and enough space to change and add/remove make up, which is really useful and good to have privacy. Theres a toilet that was clean and tidy (and also a great shooting space with a big bath).

Hes made great use of the space and has really got it to a full potential, with countless props to use, many different backdrops available and the epic library looking room, which ive never seen in a studio before - so its got originality too.

Thanks for having me there James, it was a blast!

I had a fun outdoor shoot with James. He knew a patch of woodland with bluebells and he drove me there from the station. Communications before the shoot were good. He was relaxed and professional during the shoot.

Thoroughly recommended.
