I had my first studio day at Skylark studio which has been around for years. James and I both promoted to get 1:1 shoots. I arrived at the studio where he was waiting for me and togs. He set up lights and spoke to the tog before leaving. He stayed around the corner while the shoots were happening. I used some of the studio clothes. We made good use out of the sets, lights and heating. He even shot with me too. The day went quickly. He offered hot drinks and kindly warmed up my food later. Highly recommending James and the studio to other togs and models

I had my first group shoot at Skylark studio which has been around for years. James the owner is great in organising shoots for models but promoting it himself, so we managed to sell out, having taken deposits. I arrived at the studio where he was waiting. He helped me bring my luggage inside. We waited for togs to arrive. He stayed around for the whole shoot to run it and organise what was going on. It was up to me what outfits to wear and what sets I wanted to do, so I asked other togs suggestions. He offered hot drinks and kindly warmed up my food later. He put the lights up, and backdrops down, and sets into place. He made sure that nothing inappropriate happened. Highly recommending James and the studio

Pre coms were great and James is very organised.

The studio itself is lovely with a handful of different set ups lights and props.

James himself is great and always thinks of the most our of the box ideas to shoot and we always get cool

James has a great studio space with lots of options for shooting. James is very kind and hard working man. he put lots of effort to his work and photography. variety of ideas he has and so easy and joy to work with. I find it so relaxed to work with James.

A lovely little studio to work in, easy to locate.

James is easy to talk to and chatty,and sample images were sent very quickly post shoot.

It’s been a long time since James and I sgoy last do it was great getting together again to get creative!

James has a great studio space with lots of options for shooting. My favourite part being the amazing bath he has. Wow!! It was fabulous!! Our time went quickly which is always the sign of a great shoot. Great conversation and an absolute gentleman!

Thank you James for a fab shoot! Hopefully it won’t be so long until we shoot again

Naked-Soul

I had the pleasure of being part of a group shoot organized by James at Skylark Studio, and it was an amazing experience. I had my first visit to Skylark Studio yesterday for a group shoot with the lovely Naked-Soul. The studio is very well equipped with a variety of different sets and lighting options. James, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming and the shoot was very well organised. All of the photographers came away very happy with the event and we all had plenty of wonderful images. I will definitely return and shoot there again.

What a great studio. I had my first shoot here this week. The studio is very well equipped with so many possible sets. James is a great host who was very easy to organise the hire with. He was on hand to help if required. The studio is so easy to find with plenty of free parking close by. Highly recommend and I look forward to coming back and working there again.

It was a pleasure to shoot for the first time at Skylark. Very well equipped studio with plenty of lighting, excellent well thought out different shooting areas, props etc, easy to find and always important, plenty of free parking nearby. It was nice and warm, had good model changing facilities, tea, coffee etc and the owner James was on hand to show me round. Highly recommended.

Had a great shoot at Skylark Studio. We were met by the owner, James, who welcomed us and spent time to showing us around and answering questions. James was just a phone call away if needed during the shoot. The pre shoot coms were good, the studio had plenty of rooms to use, costumes and props. The owner was friendly and the whole shoot went extremely well. I would definitely use the studio again. Recommended.

James is a great chap and showed us around his studio on arrival, there’s plenty of equipment and lighting to use, including a range of coloured back drops, there’s a range of clothing and accessories what you can borrow from and james had tea making facilities and biscuits which is always a bonus! He was only a phone call away and just next door to pop in if you needed anything!

I had great fun shooting with another photographer at this great little studio!

It’s a fabulous place to shoot and will definitely be back soon! So if you haven’t booked the studio yet then you need to!

Had the pleasure to work with James again on a group shoot he organised in his own studio last month and I had a blast. The shoot itself was super creative and James gave me free reign when it came down to the styling of the outfits which was fantastic!

James is super chill, he even picked me up from the train station so I didn't have to walk up there. He knows his way around the studio for sure. The shoot went pretty smoothly with everyone getting a chance to shoot and everyone bringing their creative thinking to the table. I love how versatile his studio is, there is plenty of choice of what you can shoot, especially when you have so many props and cool things in there, there is no stopping you! Fingers crossed I get to work with James again in the future! 100% reccomend booking him.

This was the first time I had been to this studio and I received a very warm welcome which was nice. James is very polite, professional and friendly and we had good communication prior to the shoot.

The studio has ample space with different areas to shoot in and although I didn’t get the time to shoot in all the areas I’m looking forward to going back and doing so next time.

James is a very talented photographer and his enthusiasm really comes across. I throughly enjoyed the shoot and I’m looking forward to working with James again soon.

Did a 'photo glam' photo session at Skylark Studio,on Sunday afternoon.

2nd time I have done at this venue.

Used all sets, got various images.

Jamie welcomed me in when I arrived, also Tara, model I was working with, the second time of doing so at such.

Tried to book onto a group shoot with LEnza but it was full. James offered to approach LEnza to she if she could do a 1-2-1 shoot beforehand I jumped at the chance and it happened. Not having used the studio before James was on hand to make suggestions but not overly involved.

I've got another group shoot booked in a couple of weeks and hope to shoot some more 1-2-1's in the future. Highly recommended.
