I shot for the 1st time with Simon last week at 10 Studio in Wokingham with fabulous pre-comms and ideas discussed...

He is a professional and precise photographer who amazed me with his large collection of beautiful clothes and props, whilst he set up the lights and scenes wonderfully, showing his knowledge and great way with the camera!

I thoroughly recommend this fantastic photographer, he is a joy to work with and had me giggling throughout the shoot :)

I worked with the lovely Simon again (aka Grumps!) on one of my ruin locations in my local area- He amazingly trusted me to drag him up 4 very steep hills into the midst of the Valleys! We worked together on Simons corpse project - the weather was beautiful and behaved itself for once! Simon came to the shoot with oodles of bizarre props, one of which was a very entertaining dirndl, which the odd passing tourist thought was very mad (well they rolled their eyes :P ) Simon is a gent to work with as always- puts up with my madness and kept me topped up with tea and cakes before and after the shoot (calorific at my request!) A lovely grumps, anyone would love to work with! Thankyou for a lovely day, you mad creative man. Helen xx

I worked with Simon on a Paris fashion workshop over a 2 day period. Simon was a wonderful character, a real gentleman with a daft sense of humour. Simon has a keen eye to spot different and irregular angles to capture interestingly creative images. Simon was not only great fun to work with, but also extremely professional. He gave good direction when he wanted to achieve a certain look. I would definitely recommend Simon to work with, and would love to work together again!!! Can't wait to see the images.

What to say about Simon that hasn't already been said! :) We have worked together a few times over the past few months, the most recent being from my recent Kent tour a few days ago. The weather was rubbish this time around, so we shot at Simons home studio and the half day flew by, with a real mixture of madness, creativity and many many cups of green tea and LOTS of sugar :)

This time around we shot with a gorgeous velvet coat of Simons for the shoot which looked stunning in the shots as the main piece- and experimented with many mad ideas. Shooting with Simon is always mad, but hes so good and treats you so well- and is so kind, considerate and sweet. It's very nice to see he is winning many photography awards- he puts so much effort into not only the preparation of the shoot and the sourcing of the locations but also the execution and editing of the photographs. Its so nice to see his work being recognised. He is a artist and photographer and I love his work. Models and creatives you must work with this man! :) Xx

Well what a pleasure to work with Simon! Such a character and gentleman. Simon arrived laden with props, fabulous outfits and a mind full of creative ideas! Communications beforehand were spot on and very professional. The shoot flew by and was an absolute joy. Simon is very good with direction and creative ideas as well as knowing how to execute them. Highly recommended and I forward to the next time :-)

Simon is an absolute dream to work with! He's patient (train delays), a true gentleman, so bloody creative and so so much fun to work with. I can not recommend him highly enough! He really knows how to look after a model, and will always put the models needs first (which is silly lol). I have also found that Simon has grown as a photographer since we first worked together last year, his ideas seem to get more crazy and interesting and I love it! :)

It is hard to know what to write in a reference for Simon - really, there are no words quite suitable! I would quite honestly work with Simon every day if that were possible. During our most recent shoot, last week, I can admit I was actually crying with laughter. Working with Simon is Pure Joy. Please keep doing what you do! A creative soul and a wonderful human being.

I worked with Simon for the 3rd time on Monday and had a great shoot! It is always a pleasure to work with Simon and he is immensely fun to be around I don't think I laugh as much as I do when working with Simon, even if he does wind me up calling me 21!

On a serious note he is a lovely man, so respectful and professional! He has some amazing ideas and costumes and takes some really beautiful images and is an artist in his own right. I really love working with him and always look forward to it, I look forward to working with you again in 2015! :)

I worked with Simon again and stayed in his lovely obode for the week whilst I was on tour :) I refer to Simon affectionately as my grumps as everytime I am in the Kent area, I stay with Simon like a daughter would stay with a father! ;) (haha!) And doesn't he lecture me like one ;) (hehehe Not that I mind :) )

As usual we had a mad day shooting, at a very relaxed pace, shooting a range of themes with myself wearing simons elaborate clothing and props in his home studio. I really enjoy grumps company- I don't think he realises what a truly talented photographer he is. He is also highly entertaining, kind and very considerate. I always enjoy his company and hope to work with LOTS :) X

Working with Simon was really fun - we had a full day at a beautiful outdoor location, working on some dramatic and story-telling images. It was a very relaxed day with no pressure on timing (which helped as we were interrupted at the location first by people, then by the weather!), and Simon is hilarious(/mad) and lots of fun to work with! He'd brought some great props and made really good use of the location. We worked on the ideas together and there were lots of images I really loved. All in all I can recommend Simon easily and hope to work with him again!

I finally had my second shoot with Simon a week ago - what fun! Simon very patiently went along with my whim when I suggested that we meet at dawn for our shoot on the coast. I had a whale of a time working with him on another of his brilliant ideas. Simon is pure joy to work with - by the time I drove home my tummy hurt from laughing. Cannot wait until next time :D

I miss my Grumps! :) Simon is a mad, eccentric older (I said older not old ;) Englishman. His eyes are full of mischief, he has an infectious personality and is lovely to be around. Mad as a hatter, has mad but very fun ideas, props, outfits and lots of stories to tell you all! :) I stayed with Simon for a few nights during my tour and he was a complete gentleman. He even gave me his room for the night ( he camped in the single room! ) cooked me a delicious (if slightly overcooked ;) ) roast dinner (which was very tasty!) and wined and dined me. I hope we work together lots of times, he makes me giggle!! I think I met someone as mad as I am. Must work together again soon grumps! :P Helen xx

He has some great ideas and has an array of amazing props and clothing! His hospitality is second to none too! I would highly recommend Simon as working with him is a breath of fresh air! Communication before the shoot was fantastic and Simon was well organised and brought along some amazing outfits for me to model in and some funky props. Thoroughly wonderful, different, refreshing, enjoyable, considered... just a few of the words that spring to mind to describe working with Simon - I had a brilliant time with this lovely, eccentric, talented gentlemen. As well as having planned the shoot wonderfully, prepared massively well in terms of props, outfits and sets, Simon also brought yummy snacks to keep us models going and looked after us perfectly throughout. I am so pleased to have had the opportunity to work with Simon and I would absolutely love to in the future. I worked with Simon a few days ago alongside model BexWhite. I had such an enjoyable time it was a breath of a fresh air working with Simonery good he was full of energy and had some excellent ideas! He came so so prepared for the shoot he had an amazing collections of props and clothing which was so much fun to model in! He also arrived with snacks for us and provided us with breaks too. Such a warm and lovely gentleman and a very good photographer! The results looked amazing! Time flew by as the shoot was very enjoyable! Simon is such a fun character! As everyone has said he is a pleasure to work with. I love his ideas and collections of interesting things from clothing to old projectors! Very fascinating. What to say about Simon! Too many words!!!! :) He is charming, funny, eccentric, great company and a complete gentleman to be around. I was booked with Simon for a full days shoot but unfortunately the weather was not great, however I was kindly paid before the shoot commenced and I promise to be back! We also had a look around the location Simon had in mind which were lovely and have many ideas for next stays shoot!

I stayed with Simon for a couple of nights during my stay in the Reading area and he was also the perfect host, treating me to lovely home made dinners in his beautiful home and making me feel safe, comfortable and at home! A complete sweetheart in every way and I will be back soon!
